cool vidio. can you shoow us how too get a horse too steep? im taking care of a shetlandspony and it have a thick coat its not very nice too groom him so can you tell me some tips how too get away mud and dirt?
@ridingxruffian Plastic is meant to be used for getting tugs out of the tail and mane!
At least this is what I was taught, and the rubber takes off dried mud and or dirt/dead skin cells and provides the horse with a wonderful circulatory boosting massage, and the metal cleans the body brush! Was I being unreasonable? And also I am not stupid, do not presume to know me!
@LilMissAmyob DUDE! You need to sort out your combs! it is different types of curry for different jobs, google it, you do not use a metal curry for a mane and tail!!! it is used to clean the body brush of dirt and hair after each stroke! The rubber takes of dried mud and dirt and provides a circulation boosting massage to the horse, and the plastic is used in the mane and tail! A rubber and metal curry has no real benefit to mane and tail as they haveshort teeth and not long like a plastic one!
@ridingxruffian Every brush has a use even if it has the same name. For example Curry combs in metal, plastic, and rubber, all of them have different jobs...as I have already explained in my previous comment! I mean you wouldnt use a metal curry on a horse!!
@Victoriam4074 I agree. I was taught to NEVER use a metal curry comb on a horse. Plastic for the mane and tail (I've noticed quite a few plastic curry combs have longer bristles.) And rubber curry comb to remove dry dirt and hair.
@DesertFriesian but do they look like that curry only rubber and smaller because i have a smaller curry comb that is rubber and it still works on my horse
@rabbitboy56 you can curry right by their hoves so that if a horse lives in a paddoc and its muddy in their you need to clean down their so they dont get rain rot down their or other infections down by their hoves
@myboyjackfrost3 I thought a curry was too rough for the legs? Obviously you brush the legs but I would use a softer brush on such bony areas. That's just my opinion though :) x
remember the hooves :D
