yeah man, I agree with infroman132. Get a bit of low ends in the snare (100-120hz), and maybe a bit of distortion. If you want to can add a second snare on a new channel, turn the pitch down and push back attack bit, then you get a warm linger. Keep up though man, definitely has potential. (the massive sounds good)
Great ear my man. TOOL is my favorite band and is all I listen too that is not DnB. I taught myself how to play bass and guitar using TOOL songs. I used a similar structure based around the triads, which is what TOOL does. I really want to make TOOL style DnB, so mission almost accomplished. I want to remix a TOOL tune but I am still trying to figure out a concept.
