  • Hey Johnny. Just wanna ask you. Have you run battlefield 3 multiplayer on this yet? If so, what's the FPS on ultra with 2x AA, cos I'm about to build all most the same pc you got there... But I see so deferent results on the FPS. And I must say I love your build. :-D

  • @kofsikof I have not run it on ultra settings. I ran it on High with 2x AA and I get about 55-60fps. I ordered another 6870 so I should be able to run it on ultra.

  • @johnnythegeek1 okidoki.. thanks so much :-)

  • Great build! Hows the Antec Kuhler 620 holding up? No leaks, no overheating? Thinking about getting it.

  • @CraigRichieStudios It works great if doing moderate overclocking from 3.4- 4.0 Ghz but after that I needed to add a second fan to the radiator. I will be upgrading to the corsair h100 so I can overclock harder. But it really is a great water cooling unit. Thanks for watching!

  • How are the NZXT cables? a lot of people say they aren't that great. Also, have you been experiencing the "boot loops" people have been getting with that mobo?

  • @migastar Both my cables and motherboard are running excellent and overclocked

    @4.5Ghz

  • tht rig is epic mate.well done..i have same case as you chk my vid out plz.thnx bro

  • @nikkademus1 Thanks for watching I will check it out!

  • man I want this white case. im building a pc for a friend and ordered the black graphite model, had thoughts of keeping it for myself and getting him something cheaper but the more I look at this white one, the more I want it.

One solution for the front panel USB 3.0 cable is to get the 3 port USB 3.0 adapter from Siig, model # JU-P40212-S1, really awesome because it has sata power instead of molex, and gives you 3 rear USB 3.0 ports, and has one internal connector for that front panel cable

  • @StrokedGT Nice! Thanks for the info. There is also an internal USB 3.0 header pins on the motherboard and you can just get the header pins to usb adapter to connect it directly to the motherboard. Thanks for watching!

  • why Were you shirt less

    ????????????????/

  • @coyjones1 Because it was hot in my room and I had no AC. Thanks for watching!

  • when switching case, can i pop off the i/o panel from my old case and put it on the new one?

  • @Dastyice Yes you can. Thanks for watching!

  • The side windows are clean, that could have been the plastic wrap it came with in the shipping.

  • @johnnythegeek1 no, i don't think you understood. i meant to say that my windows have been scratched up and smudged. The LED lights I put (similar to the ones you put) bring the scratches out even more. I was just wondering if you've encountered the same and if you found a good way to clean it.

  • @migastar You could try Pledge furniture cleaner. It might buff out those scratches. Test it out on a small area first. Good luck.

  • The white LED lights on the side panel, show scratches and finger prints on the window. Have you tried cleaning the windows or have you just never touched them?

  • $5 each? $14.90 each here.. lol

  • @staticslipk5 dang.

  • Where did you get the white wire covers?

  • @OrangeArcher13 I picked it up from an electronics store called Fry's here on the west coast. I also put a link to amazon for the 3/4 inch ones. That was all i could find on amazon. I also used 1/2 and 1/4 inch tubing. Thanks for watching!

  • Can i change the side panels in this case? Place the right panel on the left side and the left on the right side? Thanks.

  • @diegoioli That is a good question. I will try that out when I get home from work. Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 I wait. Thanks.

  • @diegoioli I just tried it and yes it is interchangeable. I can put the doors on any side.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Oh man, thank you for this. Now I will buy this case.

  • you mentioned the cutout on the other case wouldn't allow the cooler plate...this is why I have a dremel, hehe. but love the 600t case. about to start my build so thanks for the video.

  • @ericb45696 Thanks for watching!

  • OHH MY BAD CAN YOU POST. SORRY

  • Can i post online links from where you got the USB LED Strips and the NORMAL LED LIGHT that you got on the side panel. Thanks

  • @RomanianCF I post or you post?

  • @RomanianCF Ok I added a link to Amazon. Thanks for your support!

  • Thanks for posting and thanks for Amazon links to the sleeved extenders! You the man. Nice build!

  • @HitoBito69 Thanks for watching and your support if you clicked on those links and made the purchase!

  • I have this case, it's nice but the cable connectors are marked but the motherboard markings don't match. Am I supposed to look into my crystal ball to figure out where they go? wtf.

  • @OneCupOfCoffee204 Are you talking about the front panel connectors?

  • @johnnythegeek1 After reading the mobo book I was able to figure it out. There is an issue with the power supply however. It's an asus p8z68-v pro/gen3 mobo, and a fully modular ax850 corsair pro series gold atx power supply. the mobo has two power connectors one 24 pin eatxpwr and one 8 pin eatx12v connector. The power supply came with a bunch of cables none of which fit the eatx12v. Am I missing a cable or am I not suposed to use this conector?

  • Come on dude, this is youtube... Please add the name of the tune in the description :)

  • @shafnet lol. my bad. I will right now. Thanks for watching!

  • Dude... i was am so going to get this case i have the exact same case the cooler master and was contemplating on switching and now i will lol

  • @allisterw9 lol Thanks for watching!

  • you didn't remove the old thermal paste before applying the new waterblock.

  • @jewie27 I know and that prompted me to make another video on how to clean and apply new thermal grease. I made 2 of them so do a search on my channel for the word thermal grease. Thanks for watching!

  • Johnny i have a question concerning the new case: Wont its white colour go "beige" as time passes by? I have seen it before in many older white cases...

  • @Liakos256 So far I have not noticed any changes in color. I would think that paint has come a long way and it should not "yellow". Maybe humidity would have an affect on it and if that is the case (no pun intended) I should not experience that either since I live in California and it is a relatively dry climate here. Thanks for asking and I will update this video if something happens.

  • nice video and rig! im also getting this case soon, where did you get those white cable extentions at? :D

  • @InverseBlue Thanks for watching! I got those wire loom tubing also known as corrugated split tubing from Fry's Electronics but you can also find them on Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, or any hardware store with electrician equipment.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Thanks! :D

  • lol satrcraft 2 on one of those monitors :D

  • @Rashad8671 ha good eye. I think I was installing it. Thanks for watching.

  • i dont recommend trying to watch this with a headache it wont help. but i dont care for the music used. decent case tho i wouldnt mind one in black

  • @emerybryant I don't recommend watching anything with a headache. The music I used it suitable for me because it is a free license and it is better than no music at all. You can also mute the video during the music parts. I was almost going to get the black one but then this white one was the one on sale so I got it instead. Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 oh ok it was on sale i must have missed that or maybe u didnt mention it? well i still would have went with black i dont care for white. and no prob u make decent videos

  • You could pull out the motherboard, and than put that cooler...

  • Comment removed

  • awesome review, very good case I will buy that one next week and i like your cable managment with that white cables on motherboard and graphic card....xD

  • @nanosol007 Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 every time xD

  • Great case.

  • @Maradovitch Thanks for watching!

  • Comment removed

  • Those white cables comes in a box with the case?

  • @GuilhermeHPBR No they do not. I bought them from Amazon. Check out the description for links to the cables.

  • @johnnythegeek1 ty friend, going to check out xD

  • @GuilhermeHPBR Thanks for watching!

  • the white cabling looks fantastic !

  • @PCbeat Thanks for watching!

  • you forgot to clean off the old paste from cpu

  • @ab30494 You are correct. It prompted me to make a couple other videos on how to apply thermal grease and the thermal compound I used called nano diamonds! Check them out by going to my channel and typing in "thermal grease" on the channels search bar.

  • pretty good vid so far, even though i'm only 10 mins in....but this fuckin music is killin me!

  • @GfXGodZ Sorry. It was all I could fine that is creative commons. Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 its fine man! do you think i'd have to take my MOBO out to put this in my case (it's the phantom)

  • @GfXGodZ What did you want to put in there?

  • @johnnythegeek1 the kuhler 620 or 920!

  • @GfXGodZ The Kuhler 620.

  • Why is the front mesh broken? And the fan controller can adjust ANY fan you connect to it.

  • @inseiin What do you mean broken? Yes it can control up to about 4 fans I think. I am away from my machine so I can't see it now.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Roll to about 20:00 and you' ll see...the filter has some huge gap there.

  • @inseiin I probably just put it back wrong. I was holding the camera in one hand and messing around with it the other hand.

  • Can the top 200mm fan be moved to the top most part of the case (under the top fan mesh or filter thingy) ? Thanks in advance

  • @buonchieuphoco yes it can! There is even a hole next to it to run the power connector through. The only tricky part is that you have to screw the fan in from the bottom. The screws closer to the motherboard will be tricky that's for sure. I mean if the motherboard is already installed. If you are starting from scratch then that should be one of the first things to prep before dropping in the mobo. Hope that helps.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. I am trying to shape my new build and definitely keep your advice in mind.

  • Regarding the NZXT cables, did you need only one of each pin type for this build; and in a "standard" build, would I only need one of each type? (This'll help me plan on quantity to buy). Thanks in advance!

  • @dxiong5 In the description I bought one of each except for the NZXT CB 6V-W 6-Pin VGA Premium Extension Cable. Those were the power connectors for the Graphics card and my particular Graphics Card needed 2 connectors because it draws a lot of power. If you only need one then I suggest you get only one. Did that answer your question?

  • @johnnythegeek1 Thanks, your response indeed answered my question. I suppose I will need to know how many connectors my GPU needs first, and it makes sense to buy only one if I need only one. Thanks again!

  • thanks for the reply, i got 3/8 white for the sata and h60 hopefully they fit, i had to get 1" black tubes, they were out of stock on white, im planning to spray paint it white.

  • @TheAntecFan nice. That should work. I would suggest testing it out on a small piece and then doing a flexibility test to see if the paint stays on when you're working with it. You don't want paint chips to be breaking off or flaking all up in your case.

  • @johnnythegeek1 thanks for the tip, I'm also planning on painting my gray Antec power supply to white, how long do you think i should wait for it to install it back. im planning to cover any holes and just paint the outside, btw did you ever paint yours?

  • @TheAntecFan I haven't painted mine yet but I will soon once the weather gets a little warmer. Should not be too long here in California.

  • hey whats the size on the tube that you used on the power supply, thanks

  • @TheAntecFan That would be a 1 inch tube. The tube I used for the SATA connectors was 1/4 inch and the water cooling tubes I used was 1/2 inch.

  • Thanks for the video, and also for the wire loom tubing idea.

  • @TheAntecFan Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 is the psu Modular?

    Please Reply

  • @SwizzleBRAH No it is not modular. Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1

    Thanks for the reply

  • Im getting this case with Gtx 560 and core i7 2600k is it good choice?

  • @Turkish4evers Can you get the 560 Ti instead? That would be better.

  • @johnnythegeek1 i decide that Im getting GTX 560 ti with 448 cores good choice? :P

  • @Turkish4evers Yes that is a great choice.

  • built my pc a few years ago, pure joy. now i hardly even look at it with the same joy as before. this video made me want to regain that joy i once had. now let me go clean off all that dust inside and give it a nice pat.

  • @mynameisdrpat Cool! Hope that works out!. Thanks for watching!

  • How much you pay for all your pieces including the cases?

  • Wow, that thing is sick! Ultra clean! I'm getting pumped watching your vids, anticipating my build.

  • @dxiong5 Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegree1 hey did the case come with different back plates for the mobo. I want to do a case switch also and upgrade later. Reason why i as is my mb didnt come with ps/2 connections.

  • @deepsouth06 Did you mean the I/O shield?

  • @johnnythegeek1 ya, thats what i meant.

  • @deepsouth06 Oh the I/O shields come with the motherboards and not the case. Unless you buy the motherboard used and it is mission, you might have to look online to buy another one or not use one at all. It's not dangerous to not have one. Your computer is not going to explode and lots of people including me, have built computers without them.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Hey johnny, thanks for replying and helping out. I finally remembered that and found out that the i/o shield does come with the mobo. thanks again.

  • @deepsouth06 Sweet. Thanks for watching!

  • Very, very nice build! I bought a 600T myself and was looking around at some peoples' builds, thanks for the inspiration, I put up the video for the one I just finished, and actually used the NZXT white cables and tubing you have here in yours!

  • @DaRiceCooka Nice. Thanks for watching!

  • @GFLY83 Thanks for watching!

  • Ikea bed! Nice review.. lol

  • @DiNcMe You are correct. Thanks for watching!

  • how fast did you do that man , what a ninja

  • @limedesign2 Took me about an hour and a half. Pretty long I think. I was taking my sweet time to arrange the cables.

  • @limedesign2

    looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • What did you do with usb 3.0 header?" How'd you connect it

  • @revenant3154 nothing is connected to the on board usb 3.0 header. I did not have an adapter to connect the usb 3.0 plug to header pins. I found one on mono price for $3 I should get that instead of routing that cable to the back. thanks for asking!

  • Like!! because i see the 3 cable how to install need to remove plastic of and connect in the fans?right?

  • @AK47extra the case cable for fan control

  • @AK47extra yes. thanks for watching!

  • Has the paint started to yellow at all? I want the white version over the black, but I don't want a yellow case in a year or so. :P

  • @ksidornseif Nope. No yellow here. Only thing yellow is me :)

  • My mainboard uses the 4pin CPU connector, will your 8 pin extension work with it?

  • @linh0810 Yes it will work. It splits off into two pieces. If you look at the cable on amazon they have really good pictures and you can see that it splits into two. Thanks for watching!

  • @kueefs Thanks. It's the Audio-Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone. It was $22.17 from amazon. Works really well as a mono input so you only get audio from one channel. But it's an easy fix to just duplicate the audio onto the other channel in the editing program.

  • im thinking of getting this case. im a first time builder, is it ok to set up?

  • @Protolamp This case makes it so much easier to build because of all the room you get to hide cables and the hard drive cage configuration options. I recommend it even for first time builders. There isn't any tricks or obscure parts to this case, it's pretty straight forward. Thanks for watching!

  • with the white wires inside the case like that you made it look more futuristic. : )

  • @2point6x4 Thanks for watching!

  • wait... i don't get it

you bought a cpu cooler which you couldn't install because you didn't want to take the motherboard out? so you get a new case, and transfer everything from one case to another?

  • @Apieslapie1 lol. not really. I was going to take out the mobo to install the water cooling in the old case but then the new case came out and I waited for it to go on sale. I did not want to take everything out of the old case, install the water cooling, put it all back, and then take it all out a again a few weeks later to put into the new case.

  • Dude nice set up! Where can I find those led lights? Both the bars and the separate node ones?

  • @ZackC31 I got them both at Fry's Electronics but if you don't have one of those near you then I suggest logisys cold cathodes and the halo 6 leds from amazon. Thanks for watching!

  • chief u didnt even clean off the thermal compound from ur previous hs... Where did u buy those white sleeves?

  • @Russ369 I got those sleeves from Fry's electronics but you can also get them from Amazon.com or some kind of hardware store. I have another video showing how to apply thermal grease. i plan on making 3 videos to test the temps on 3 different methods of applying thermal grease. Thanks for watching!

  • I've got the same case and I've done a nice job of the wiring. But I must say you've done a good job. Its a great case, but I had to buy a header to dual USB3.0 Type A connectors to be able to use the front USB3.

  • @jamiebalfour04 Yeah I will have to do the same because the usb 3.0 cable is only long enough to go from the front to the back if I use the top pci express 1 slot. But now I am using that slot so the cable is too short to run through any other slot. I got those sleeves from Fry's electronics but you can also get them from Amazon.com or some kind of hardware store. Thanks for watching!

  • @jamiebalfour04 oops sorry Jamie. That last part about the sleeves was suppose to be for another comment. lol.

  • Do you have the Antec Kuhler configured as intake or exhaust? Which one do you think works better?

  • @patrikk777 I have it set as exhaust because of the over clocking I do brings it to about 75 degrees and that is pretty warm. Typically, because of it being in the back of the case, most are made to be exhausted because most cases are designed to have cool air come in from the front and hot air exhausted from the back.

  • just got this case for my build, think ill struggle on all the wires lol

  • Could you please tell me if the LED's at the bottom of the side panel are built into the PC chassis and where did you get the white molex cathode light from?! :D Thanks!

  • @bdude92 All the lighting in the case and side panel I got from Fry's Electronics. The usb lights are made by Sound Science and they were $5. The LED bar with the Molex is by Logysis and was $14.

  • Nice build however you committed a sin by not cleaning the old thermal compound from the CPU before installing the new cooler -____- other than that pretty sweet.

  • @djjmp3 You are correct! and now I am having overheating issues when overclocked at 4.5Ghz. Epic fail on my part. I will correct the situation soon. Thanks for watching!

  • dude you should do a tour of your setup.

  • Dude, nice case, orderd it yesterday for my new build :).

Check out this video for a modded side windows.

    /watch?v=kGhtvMY6HwU&feature=relmfu

You can order it from mnpctech.com

    :)

  • @joaoofficial Dang, that shit is sick. I want one now. Thanks for sharing!

  • @johnnythegeek1 yeh :) i wanted to order it, but live in holland and its way too expensive to ship it from the US.

So im going to make my own :)

  • @joaoofficial Nice! It is pretty pricey. Cost as much as the case even when shipped here in the US. $137. I might just mod my existing panel and make a bigger cut out for the glass.

  • @johnnythegeek1 Check links :)

    goodluck

  • very nice and clean build man, looks good. couple quick questions. 1. does it matter what kind of screw driver we use when building the pc. ie: magnetic or not 2. do you build you're computer on hardwood floor/tile instead of carpet? 3. is it complicated building a computer? I've watched A LOT of videos and done quite some bit of research on how to build it but I just want to become as pre pared as I can. thnx bud!

  • @desertfox1792 I prefer the magnetic screw drivers because of tight spaces don't allow both hands to get in there. I build on any floor. If you are worried about static then get an anto static wrist strap. I have built so many computers that I don't really worry about static. Never had a problem with static. Ask anyone with experience and they will tell you that they dont worry about it either. I have another video on building a core i7 you might find useful. Thanks for watching!

  • Sweet rig & nice video. :-)

  • @mmlewis Thanks for watching!

  • Did you have any problem installing 16GB of ram? I got 2 of those 2x4GB Corsair Dominator, but I heard that you have to do some configuration in order to install max 24GB RAM (triple channel). Do you have to do the same with 16GB dual channel or you just install and go?

  • @ticross1207 I don't know of any configuration to get the dual channel to work. I think it is automaticall enabled when dual channel memory is installed. There might be a setting to turn it off. I will have to check when I get home. Thanks for watching!

  • @johnnythegeek1 Thanks, since I did some search on google and people say it's not as easy as 1,2,3 to install maximum 24GB ram in triple channel! Seems like I'm gonna install 16GB Corsair in my rig now, thanks for the information anyways!

Check out my gaming rig video when you have time

    /watch?v=lzeJSSFv9rc

  • Where did you get the LED strips?

  • @MrMAB7777 I bought them at Fry's Electronics. The problem though is that they never turn off. They are made by Sound Science. I would recommend the NZXT Premium Sleeved LED Kit from amazon. It uses a molex connector and has a switch on them to adjust brightness.

  • lol the usual Asian peace sign at the end. Love the new build man, I dig the black an dwhite to, but I am not sure if you should color the white for the PSU; It might end up looking like to too much white, the lights add the finishing touch :)

  • @ItsBao93 lol. Thanks for watching!

  • You're genius for using white tubing! Looks so sick!
