That was a perfect left hook to the liver. You don't often see that from heavies, but torqued his body and placed that shot perfectly. No shame in Luan losing like that, I'd imagine not many men could get up from that shot.
Not only do you not see that kind of blow often from HW's, but Sascha is a big rangy heavyweight, and he "torqued" (as you said) and threw with relative ease, despite his long limbs. And when Krasniqi went down on a knee, Dimitrenko KNEW he had hit paydirt.
This is trew. The only heavyweight I can think of with a good and concerted body attack is Povetkin, who is 4-6 inches shorter than Dimitrenko. Sdunek has been working on Sascha's body attack, as seen in the Batchelder and Hoffmann fights as well, and it is paying off.
Dimitrenko looked better here than in other limited clips of matches I've seen him in. For a guy his size, he moves well and fights inside well. But he got tagged too easily by a rather slow Krasniqi. Still, you've gotta consider him on a par with the likes of Tony Thompson, and hence now a borderline Top 10 guy, at about the same perch as Chris Arreola.
Thanks for posting this fight -- hard to catch the European fighters here in the US. Looks like this is the end for Krasniqi. Not sure Dimitrenko could beat the Klitschko brothers but he delivered a crushing left hook to the body to send Krasniqi down and out.

Luan ist doch kein Boxer! So eine Pfeife, der hat schon öfters gezeigt das er keine Eier in der Hose hat. Genauso wie Valujev. Bezeichnend war ja die Niederlage gegen den Polen damals als er Angst hatte weiter zu kämpfen und aufhörte. Krasniqi is a bottle job, he quit against Thompson and again here in a fight that he appeared to be in control of. He lacks heart. Dimitrenko looks fragile under pressure and I would be amazed if he became a genuine world champion.

That was a perfect left hook to the liver. You don't often see that from heavies, but torqued his body and placed that shot perfectly. No shame in Luan losing like that, I'd imagine not many men could get up from that shot.

Not only do you not see that kind of blow often from HW's, but Sascha is a big rangy heavyweight, and he "torqued" (as you said) and threw with relative ease, despite his long limbs. And when Krasniqi went down on a knee, Dimitrenko KNEW he had hit paydirt.

This is trew. The only heavyweight I can think of with a good and concerted body attack is Povetkin, who is 4-6 inches shorter than Dimitrenko. Sdunek has been working on Sascha's body attack, as seen in the Batchelder and Hoffmann fights as well, and it is paying off.

Dimitrenko looked better here than in other limited clips of matches I've seen him in. For a guy his size, he moves well and fights inside well. But he got tagged too easily by a rather slow Krasniqi. Still, you've gotta consider him on a par with the likes of Tony Thompson, and hence now a borderline Top 10 guy, at about the same perch as Chris Arreola.

Thanks for posting this fight -- hard to catch the European fighters here in the US. Looks like this is the end for Krasniqi. Not sure Dimitrenko could beat the Klitschko brothers but he delivered a crushing left hook to the body to send Krasniqi down and out.
