Hey ola i have a question about your guitar. Thats the RGA8 right? If so i wanted to ask when you changed the pickups in it to the blackouts did you have any problems with the battery? Cuz apparently the stock pickups in that thing run on 2 AA batteries and the blackouts run on a 9V. Was their any issues with the guitar at all when changing the pickups? I need to know cuz im deciding between this and a schecter blackjack atx c-8 as my first 8 string guitar. Great playing as usual dude keep it up

Can the amp be set for a nice clean tone and footswitch to a hi-gain tone (Fade to Black, unforgiven type of thing)?

Reason i ask is the gain level of both channels seems to be linked...........

what's the setting of the maxon in your vids? in this vid you use it between guitar and amp, in the other vids you use it in the send return or between guitar and amp?

@fearedse wow i've tried the maxon between my guitar and my amp many times with no result, only farty sound, instead work well in the send return on the volume, i can't get this boosted sound...perhaps the reason it's my new solid state randall rh100, really havy on the right cabinet...anyway i miss valves :(

@mymama12314 It's pretty loud, but I wouldn't use it for rehearsing with a band. In europe they're pretty cheap. Overseas they're not so depending where you live, cheap or expensive. Cheers!

@dimebagdarrellftw only mesa. a recto is twice the price of a fireball 100. a 6505+ is same as the fireball, krank is a bit less than a powerball. mesa is overpriced as hell over here.

@dimebagdarrellftw i do like mesas, just not rectifiers. the mkIV and mkV are awesome amps, and from what i've heard from the lonestar it seems to have the most beautiful crunch ever. my dream setup would be engl blackmore (done) for distortion and lonestar for clean and crunch. listen to andy timmons to hear what the lonestar's captable of.
