  • @nohomers100 Mufasa is not THAT bad..

  • Comment removed

  • This guy is my idol!! He has the most recognizable voice on the PLANET!! ALL HAIL JAMES EARL JONES!!

  • his voice is so sexy

  • What is funny is that he and Madge Sinclar (Mufasa's Wife Sarabi) were both king and queen before in Coming to America. Spectacular!

  • he has a REALLY DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP VOICE!

  • mofasa

  • This man's voice DEFINED my childhood.

  • I'm not gay but DAMN! He is sexy! He makes it look easy!

  • It's Tay Zonday if his body fit his voice.

  • Kieth david, Michael clarke duncan, Terrence Carson. they must be added to the list!!

  • he was just a gentle dad...

  • His voice always gives me goos bumbs

  • I wish he could narrate my life.

  • James Earl jones, Peter Cullen, and Morgan Freeman have the best voices ever

  • @bjarmstrong34 ooh and Sean Connery

  • I have to say... the makers of TLK did a brilliant job on putting his facial expressions into Mufasa. They kinda look alike :).

  • I remember I almost shit my pants when I found out the voice of Darth Vader voiced Mufasa.

  • REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE YOU ARE MY SON

  • @Mpritchard1995 Err, did he intentionally left out "I am your father!"

  • He has the most magnificent voice.

  • If James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman had a debate, I would cream my jeans.

  • REMEMBER.

  • @kesambers WHO YOU ARE

  • Epic voice

  • The mustache on James Earl Jones even makes him look like Mufasa!

  • @Raymond111full-he is darth vader dummy

  • He Sounds like Darth Vader...

  • What was the name of that movie where he plays an African minister?

  • @CaptainCretaceous91 Cry, The beloved country?

  • @TheDarkNinja7 That might be it.

  • awww! simbas daddy lol

  • That's what I love about the character Mufasa! He's a strong, wise leader when he needs to be but he's gentle, kind, patient, and quite understanding. Musafa has a quality that most people need; and that's having a center of balance (when it comes to personality).

  • I almost cried when Mufasa died in The Lion King, and I watched it yesterday..

  • He's in Coming To America. Good movie.

  • @terrfomp92 Funnily enough, he and Madge Sinclair played king and queen parents to the main character in that movie too.

  • REMEMBER, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE. YOU ARE MY SON

  • he has an epic voice

  • awwwww! ^__^ so sweet

  • Press 3 for - A Dopey Dad

  • MUFASA!

  • OMG!!! 0:12 :)

  • I love his soft grandpa and authoritated voice its so comforting...

  • pause at 0:12

  • Hurry up Simba you need to Mufasa!

  • I could probably listen to this guy's voice for hours! Mufasa was my FAVORITE Disney character. I love him so much. To this day I can't watch the scene where he dies.

  • Fucking hate this jiggaboo.

  • Well, at least we know who Tay Zonday's father...

  • thumbs up james jones for president !!!!

  • @pemazizi33 totally

  • his voice is godly

  • "Kimbaa--I mean--Simbaa!!"

  • the force is strong with this one

  • genius. god bless these people!!!

  • dopie dad

  • If I ever am in the position to make an animated movie, the question of the cast for voice acting would be very easy:

Mark Hamill, Tress MacNeille and James motherfucking Earl Jones.

  • @LateralisArt :O Rofl xD i wouldnt put it like that xD

  • Che voce stupenda! L'adoro!

  • no homo but i'm a guy and when he said ' he is just a gentle dad ' i melted inside.

  • @monkeyphart190 me too lol

  • why do black men have rough voices? something in their genes?

  • @assais Have you ever heard Chris rock? lol he has the voice of a 10 year old lol. Pretty sure there is white and black guys with high voices and those with rough voices lol. So pretty sure race has nothing to do with it haha

  • @CalebNelson64 Pitch and roughness have no correlation. There are high smooth voices (like George Lucas and Cuba Gooding, Jr., another black man with a smooth voice), high rough voices (Mel Brooks), low smooth voices (James Earl Jones), and low rough voices (Harrison Ford nowadays, although his voice used to be velvety). And, of course, this has nothing to do with race. And one more thing: I have never heard Chris rock. XD

  • I love James Earl Jones's voice

  • Son, I always assumed that you had sex with your bathers. I know I do!

  • Pause at :13

  • Simba... I am your father.

  • I want this man to read my biology and chemistry text books to me at night as bed time stories. Where'd you go childhood. Come back with James Earl PLZ!! lol

  • he didn't even have to change his voice to play mufasa, talk about gg.

  • @sflikuhsflikuh i already knew that xD i love his normal, comanding, deep, amazing, smooth, voice <3 as much as i love his personality and his family <3

  • he voiced a good and evil character...THATS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!*universe explodes*

  • press 3 for 'adobe dad" * constipation face*

  • @kneehowmaSTUDIOS dopey.

  • James Earl Jones is the voice of GOD.

  • James if you see this I just want you to know that you are one of my biggest inspirations. As a stutterer, I am so touched by how you have overcome your speech impediment, and ironically enough, you have also become famous for your amazing voice (Darth Vader, Mufasa). Thank you for inspiring me.

    Other famous stutterers-Moses, Abraham Lincoln.

  • @slickback333 Amen to what you said. I used to stammer as well but even now, after overcoming my impediment, I still wouldn't have the balls to become an actor and stand on a stage or in front of a camera. This guy did.

Other famous people who had speech impediments: Bruce Willis, Marilyn Monroe, Samuel L. Jackson

  • @slickback333 Amen to that as well :)

  • @slickback333 <3 Id write something like that to him every day <3

  • Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones ftw!

  • james earl jones ' voice kicks morgan freeman's and liam neeson's voices' ASS

  • listen to the italian version of gassman another wonderful version

  • Press 3 = LOL

  • SIMBAA you delibirately dissobayed me!

    And worse!

    You put nalla in danger.

  • Comment removed

  • @Stex25 Your atrocious spelling is worth several thumbs up at least. If you're still a young kid or English is not your first language I can understand that though. It's "deliberately disobeyed" for the record :)

  • Sounds like he had fun playing the voice

  • He has such a powerful voice. His voice just screams "POWER" let him do a speech on anything and people will listen. He's a great actor too! :3

  • I could listen to him read the phone book.

  • @lave4321 - Ha ha ha ha ha! LM-MF-AO! XD

  • Epic.

  • If James Earl Jones had a conversation with Morgan Freeman the universe would implode from sheer epicness.

  • @nioor Bring Jeremy Irons, the voice of Scar, into the conversation, and the universe will not be seeing another big bang for ages :D

  • @nioor you stole that line from Friends

  • @DrakullKrauser No I didn't. Friends had a lot of funny one liners, that was not one of them

  • @nioor yes it was! Chandler says: "If Santa and the holiday armadillo are ever in the same room for too long, the universe will implode." Enough proof? Ò_ó

  • @DrakullKrauser Hmm you must be either very young or very ignorant. 'Universe will implode' is a very common figure of speech.

  • @nioor YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT VERY YOUNG MEANS!! I did not know that this line was a common figure of speech. I do NOT know every human's name, I do not know all of the languages, I DO NOT know all the figure of speeches. Dont tell me that i am ignorant or very young, that is an insult to me!!

  • @nioor EPIC COMMENT XD

  • @nioor we should make them meet!

  • @nioor I'm thinking more, James Earl Jones in a conversation with James Lipton ^^,

  • @nioor I would sacrafice 100 babies to be an audience to that.

  • @nioor while narrated by sean connery

  • @nioor Throw in some Patrick Stewart and Sean Connery, and end the world a little bit faster.

  • @Czarewich Not to mention Dixon Bainbridge. Death by glorious voices!

  • @nioor If he, Morgan Freeman, and Sean Connery had a conversation I think another universe would be created from the awesomness

  • @nioor HAHAHA...This is possibly the most "Thumbs up" comment on youtube. Ha imagin. (i wonder if thers a way u cud find out)

  • @nioor And that's why the world ends in 2012, 'cause it's gonna be the year when James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman have their first conversation...

  • @nioor LOL

  • @nioor if james earl jones, morgan freeman AND christopher lee would laugh all together, the universe would implode and suddenly recreate itself again

  • @nioor no dude, if James Earl Jones had a conversation with Morgan Freeman, AND the Allstate guy from the commericals, then the universes would implode :)

  • @boymyfeetsmell and the old spice guy!!!

  • @brandonmon10 woops forgot him :/

  • @boymyfeetsmell Lol, I was seriously just going to post a message about how James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman both have the most epic voices in the world. And yes, if the two of them had a conversation about anything (they could talk about soap for three hours and I would listen) I do think the world would quite literally explode.

  • @beccael21 i couldnt agree more sir, thumbs up :)

  • @boymyfeetsmell lmao omg!!!!

  • @boymyfeetsmell epicness

  • @boymyfeetsmell And Samuel L. Jackson can't forget him in this.

  • Comment removed

  • @nioor and what if Don LaFontaine joins the convo?

  • Legendary voice

  • Voice of my childhood.

  • I can still vividly remember the moment my dad told me that Mufasa and Darth Vader were the same person XD Because I was terrified of Darth Vader, I couldn't believe it :P

  • just from the first word he said, it made me think of mufasa! hahah

  • for some reason when james earl jones starts talking, all i can do is listen intently and in awe! <3

  • this man. Is AMAZING

  • Love him, The Lion King will always be one of my favorite movies. I still cry when Mufasa dies!

  • Mufasa: "The Bird never told you about your father"

Simba: "He told me that you killed him"

Mufasa:"No, Simba, I am your father!"

    Simba: "Nooooooo! That's Impossible"

  • serious question, and call me a noob, i don't really care, but is james still alive? my cousin tried telling me he died like a week ago. i think he's got his head up his arse, but i really don't know. does any one?

  • @patrick21392 He's alive

  • @TranswarpXL thanks. i just rubbed it in his face lol.

  • 0:12 Forever

  • They couldn't have gotten a better person as Mufasa if you ask me.

  • i just luv his voice!!!!!

  • He is a legend.

  • Lion King is one of my favorite Disney Movies and I love James Earl Jone's deep thunder voice as Mufasa. Disney was smart to cast him as that role! He really gave Mufasa not only his voice but his spirit as well. No other actor could of done it better!
