  • Just listening to the beggining of this song I think that it was the insperation for Queensryke, Opereation Mindcrime.

  • AMAZING!! I think this is my knew theme song.

  • "some special food fed to me for me thoughts..."

  • "Like" this if you know this song as the theme to Terre T's radio show of the same name!

  • One of my favorites from The Move. Great tune!!! The vinyl touch - very cool!

  • a little bach 'n' roll!

  • I bought the vinyl of this album in about 1981. It was (and still is) one of the best produced, engineered and sounding rock albums of all time. The vinyl, in particular, was wonderfully mastered as well. Thunderous and clear, like this vid. Later CD copies, while good, lost much of the pop and pop, particularly, from the bass and vocals..

  • Still play The MOVE - nothing like it.

  • Lock me in and throw the key away .

  • Man what a great tune - these guys were way ahead of their time.

Such great arrangements and listen to that clear but heavy bass!

Used to play these tunes in my old back in the day.

  • Anyone hear the version on a Chunklet zine cd comp? Don't know who did it. Didn't know it was a cover! Brilliant!

  • whooah!! this is NUTS!! the Move are the real deal! is Ace Kefford playing the bass on this track?

  • @markpetersound Rick Price is credited with the bass. Ace had long gone by the time this album was cut.

  • one word for this song.......GREAT!

  • I am happy to find this song at last!! I remember being a kid with a high fever and hearing this on my little radio. I loved it and was able to take my mind off my sickness and float into their music!! Excellent song!!!

  • A Maple Mars staple!

  • i love this song! way ahead of it's time!definitely influenced a lot of bands like cheap trick, sparks, sweet, slade, and me! it's too bad they never really made it big in the states. classic power pop!

  • Wow...the video brings back memories of University at SF State & killer weed. Good idea. Song still works.

  • I can't get over how awesome the bass solo is at 4:17!

  • i love that the video is of the actual album playing <3

  • I think the original version is better, but it is easier to understand the words in this one. The long instrumental part is pretty good, but it could just have easily been done as a seperate song. It's mostly Bach's Cantata 147 anyway.

  • This song is incredibly great!!!!!

  • Cherry Blossom Clinic

    - lock me in and throw the key away.

Just listen to this, don´t visit

    the clinic.

  • MAN!I Have not heard this song in about 30 years ! thanx .......!

  • I recommend to this track to everyone who like pop- music. At first it seems to be difficult. But at three times you understand

this and Shazam is pop/ rock- art- rock !

  • you are right you have to get used to it I wore out three copies of the record before I understood it

  • @FinnMove - this the song sung by everyone who works in a firm run by "managers".

  • I really like this revisited version better than the fantastic original...such a creative way to rehash the song with the initial narrative, to boot...

  • gorgeousness and gorgeosity... a fine, fine record, thanks

  • the best record of that year maybee the decade

  • Have never heard or seen this before.

Remarkable, really, given my ever advancing and as a result aging years.

    Thus. Eeeeek!!! And.

I promise I will never, ever drink again. Ever.

    While watching this!

  • First half of the song is great. I could do without second half which sounds dated and a bit pompous. Once thing for sure, they don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • I love the first bit where he's talking, as if it was a documentary then it goes psychedelic!

Got it on tape, must get the CD.

  • One of their very best. I'd love to do it for karaoke!

  • aw.. love this album!

  • Who do we know in town! I was not wearing white gloves ala hamburger helper guy.

  • I got a feeling this guy can do one hell of a Donald Duck impression...THROW THE BOTTLE!!!

  • Heeheee! I've still got this on vinyl! Wacky idea for a vid, like it!

  • Can you please upload last thing on my mind from that lp, thanks

  • There was a live video of the Last Thing On My Mind in youtube by the Move but its gone.

  • Don't think this version of the band ever played in the USA. But what a powerhouse trio plus Carl they were. RIP Carl Wayne, one of the best vocalists from that era and this era too! Hey Roy! Make up with Bev and play some shows together!!

  • They were supposed to be the opening act for Iron Butterfly and Led Zepellin at the Fillmore East but ROY didnt come over until he had Wizzard.

  • Brilliant - hadn't heard this for simply ages - thank you!!
