haha!! this bike hasn't been running since 2007. i'm working on finding parts now and hope to get it running this summer. i can't wait to post a new video b/c the smoke is nearly gone...lol. there's still a little bit, but it's nothing like this. i had forgotten how bad it was until i watched this just now. holy crap! it really was bad. but i didn't care. i had so much fun on my first ride ever. especially since i had helped rebuild it and it was really going!
Nice one ! My first ever ride was a 1953 BSA 500 A7 that I paid £15 for back in 1973. It had pulled a sidecar for years and the frame was slightly out of line but it was still a good learner bike for the dirt. Happy days.

Be careful, make sure it is all up to snuff in traffic it will save you on an old bike.

no, we had a bad ring on the right side. it's since been replaced and is no longer smoking. it's running fantastic now.
