  • How are you my friend?

  • who sings lead? Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, or somebody else?

  • Brilliant.

  • Great video, great song

  • it was on duke where phil collins presence became more apparent

  • WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE SOUND QUALITY?

  • I had never seen American Psycho until a few months ago, but yes I now associate this song and Sssudio with that movie.

  • First love, first heartbreak... brings back memories....

  • fucking hell dude every fucking video wow

  • Sound in this video sucks, though song is great!

  • I couldn't help but laugh at all the comments about American Psycho. lol It's funny because I was thinking the same thing when I heard it. Now I feel like watching the movie. This is a great song.

  • I love how this song will be ever associated with American Psycho. Wooot.

  • OOOH This song hits the right spot, makes me realize just what a jerk I have been. Sorry Shara

  • Genesis were sick!!

  • this is a perfect example of a well written song

  • i wasn't even born in the 1980s!!!!!! im only thirteen and this song is awesome and relaxing =]

  • classic!Merci!

  • Wonderful ballad !!!

  • i love this man so much his voice is so soothing

  • i like this song but they are better live

  • one of the most amazing songs of our time

  • Don't just stare at it, eat it!

  • american psycho..hahhhah..

  • CLASSIC Genesis was/is the best!

  • i miss this song a lot...

  • In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock.

  • I love this song!!!=)

  • Great song! What talent.

  • i like this song in american psycho

  • Loveing Phil collins, Awesome !!! totally

  • No 2 in the world. Only Michael Jackson is better

  • no phil's way better than michael! gotta say i love michael to

  • i hafta agree...

  • Am I the only person who remembers this track in the brilliant film 'Mona Lisa'? it really fitted the film perfectly, Bob Hoskins is a minder for a high class prostitute (played by Cathy Tyson) he's well loved up with her but he can't have her, she likes him but she's looking for her lover (another pro) who works the streets in Kings Cross. It came out in the 80's and its a really good film, it shows the dark side of the sex trade.

  • I am in this exact situation

  • Good luck.....

  • a classic but it also reminds me of those fuckin yuppies of the 80s lol

  • Genesis turning Phil Collins!

  • psychoroni he is british hahahahha stupid twat, hes a leg phil

  • "I thought you'd always be there; I almost believed you."

  • The reason she/they look through us, is because were not in there plans anymore. They've moved on already..

  • this is how i am still! it's sad but true

  • 1987 dark and gloomy time for me

  • Saw then sept 08 at the hartford civic center GREAT SHOW

  • hes british u thick fucks

  • I thought that Phil Collins was British?

  • who is american?

  • I love this song!

  • He is proud to be American.

  • He's British ;)

  • I love this song to death! It's one of the best ballads of the 80's, if not the best!

  • pure deepness.. love this one

  • I always thought Phil sang this on his own lol shows what I know! lol. Love this!!!!

  • I've got a question. does anyone know which song from genesis begins like this: when I'm feeling blue, all i wanna do is take a look at you

    ? please answer

    thanks (:

  • Google?

  • Phil Collins-A groovy kind of love

  • Against all Odds

  • Groovy kind of love.

  • Groovy kind of love and Phil Collins did a cover of it. It was used in the film 'Buster'

  • I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford.

  • Nice job Patrick Bateman!

  • haha...I guess I'm the only one who understands what you mean. American Psycho!

  • haha hello bateman

  • you are quoting bateman

  • yeah i agree albums from from earlier '70s and '77(selling england by the pound for example) are far more complex than post 1979 albums like abacab n invisible touch.

  • touchfelt

  • This song is very well written i love it

  • Incredible. This song leaves me speechless.

  • I agree, the worst genesis was '70 to '77. Peter Gabriel is not a group oriented person. He's an ego-maniac

  • Clearly you play no musical instrument nor do you understand music theory and composition. Post 1979 Genesis is trite and simplistic. Appealing to the masses without a musical ear or training. Pablum for musical infants. 1970-1977 Genesis is much more adventurous music, with more complex chord progressions, tone colour, and lyrics. Post 1979 Genesis is not even worthy of the name Genesis. Don't even try and defend Duke, voted widely in 1980 as the worst album of the year.

  • dude, the technichal shit doesnt matter, its all about whether you like how it sounds or not, and this dude obviously doesnt like genesis from 70-77 and hes entitled to his opinion

  • Hey man, I love the Gabriel Era, but I still think Duke is a kick-ass album. I have studied musical therory and I play four instruments, so don't come calling me a musical infant.

  • when did i ever call u a musical infant

  • I was replying to the shakelton guy.

  • I lik studse muzikail therory. I b uh muzishein 2. i play tha gutar hiro.

  • "Invisible Touch" is Genesis' most successful CD to date, & still one of the greatest ever made!

  • I TOTALLY LOVE THIS SONG. ^__^

  • I LOVE THIS SONNNNGGGG!!!! XD

  • I really like this song... It's so... mmph =D!

  • What? You must be joking? The Lamb was written in 74, Suppers ready was written in 72, cinema show and firth of fifth in 73, trick of the tail in 76, great songs and albums all.

  • "In Too Deep" is the most moving pop song of the 1980's, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock.

  • Eheheh.. i think you are talking about the "american psycho" movie... i love that movie : )

  • lmao american psycho :D

  • THE BEST GENESIS WAS 1970-1977

  • Love Genesis--despise Phil Collins solo. How is that possible? For some inexplicable reason, true for me but I can't tell you why. (Sorry to channel Timothy B. Schmidt and the Eagles).

  • great song

  • With this ballad Phil demonstrates its superiority over Peter Gabriel. Who can doubt it.

  • Some of the greatest song writers ever!!

  • Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way

  • Bateman sure had a point! LOL

  • WOW listen to this and then phil collins's "one more night" and you're done

  • my thoughts right at this moment.. over and over in my head..... at the top of my voice,no one listening:(

  • Dont stare at it EAT IT!!!!!!!!

  • Dont stare at it EAT IT!!!!!!!!

  • I think i'm gonna cry

  • I agree!!

  • lurv this song!!!

  • poor sound quality

  • beautiful song

  • all that guitar work was NOT done on a nylon string classical guitar!

  • dont just stare at it eat it!

  • Me encanta esta canción

  • que belleza, no la habia escuchado

  • Christie , get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole....

  • genesis has always and will always have a classic sound. This is an awesome song.

  • I love this song! The sound is not quite right...has anyone seen one with better quality?

  • Genesis' ultimate pop ballad. A very deep (no pun intended) song. A pure gem.

  • to all the Genesis fans, please enter to my channel, watch my tribute to Genesis and comment! I'll be thankful!

  • This is why i loved the eighties...pure class.

  • helldragon stfu and stop posting your dumbshit comments. Only a jerkoff who has no clue about music would even dare to say any other version is better than Genesis'. What a fucking moron.

  • I'm pretty sure there is no "Version" to this song...its just the same title to the song, your comparison is void

  • to helldragon49 , re-

Listen to Sum 41's In Too Deep That version is fucking better than this song G0 SUM 41!!!!!!!!

    "shut up,incest boi."

  • There song has nothing to do with this one. totally different. You need to widen your knowledge on music!!!!, Yes there song is good but it is by far NOT THE SAME!!!

  • I remember this song playing after me and my fiance had a argument....I went back to the base and was on duty the next day..that night a drunk driver killed her...no i feel like an ass cause the last thing I remember is us arguing...this song reminds me alot of her..gods bless her

  • In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist.

  • dont you have some video tapes to return?

  • Shut it troll, you're the one that clicked on it,get a life.

  • This is real pop music.

It is vintage and classical phil collins.

This song is so powerful and beautiful.

Everytime I listen to this song it have it way with me.

This is what a proffesional pop star sounds like.

    rutherford,collins,banks.

All are a genuis who is in a league of their own.

This song is so very beautiful and moving.

  • So beautiful!!

  • loca escuchas musica de todos lo palos, de soulfy a phill collins,/ genesis.

es bueno eso, para q' encacillarse en una sola cosa no? te paso otro temazo, cuidate che

  • Great group!

  • Papi---i'm in too deep!!!

  • this is baby making music

  • haha yeah you're right - this would be quite good music to make love with

  • a new sheen of consummate professionalism

  • but i also think phil collins works best between the confines of the group then as a solo artist, and i stress the world artist.

  • This is a nice song. The melody of it is awsome. It is nice, soft, and catchy. Phil Collins has a great voice (especially for this song). The video is also really nice.

5 stars; My Favorites; Playlist Material

  • this song is plain gorgeous god bless genesis and phil collins' voice is just breathtaking

  • Why are the most of the Genesis videos of bad quality? -.-

  • because it's old (80s).

  • I just love Phil Collins...this is one of my favorites...I also saw him in concert in the 80's....Great memories
