@PeteyGRaves My I ask why you chose the tuning of EBGDAA? It seems just like a drop tuned 7 string. Though as a guitarist it makes perfect sense as it its easy to get low and you can bar chords to get an a heavy effect. But why avoid the 7 string? It almost seems easier than having to set up your guitar. Though regardless you guys rock.

@ImIntoAnimals This isn't my song or even a song by a band I am in so I wouldn't be the one to ask. That being said I have used this tuning before and have written songs in this tuning that are now played on a 7 string guitar. Why? Because playing in these sorts of tunings forces you to play in a different manner to what you might normally do, and it is when you are doing that that you can more easily force creativity.

@stringslayer97 We used to call it "drone" tuning when RSF used it (before we switched to 7's). I first heard it used on Sandblasted Skin by Pantera, but I've known SikTh to use it, as well as Cry For Silence (one guitarist did, the other used an 8 string).

Out of curiosity, how much time do you spend practicing daily/weekly? Not asking for insight into your personal life, that's yours, but between playing, the timeframe videos you create, and (I assume) working, it seems like a lot of time might be hard to come by.

@koranae I don't really practice very much, generally the practice I get is stuff to enable myself to play ideas or songs for my band, but nothing really much more than that. I give it about an hour nightly if I can, but this isn't always the case.
