I love Toby Marks' work. It never gets old for me, but I don't compare it to the work of others. There were forerunners, I think of Brian Eno and David Burnes' My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, for instance, and of course Rabbit in the Moon, but they all have their styles and merits and I think it's great that there is a proliferation anymore of digital mastery in this genre. It keeps my interest in music going by it's ever changing context. It's fun in the midst of corporate tedium.
