  • Bit too heavy with the timpani I'm afraid. Puts a lot of "push" in the brass...not so bad, but it should really be the string in charge here...

  • I played first violin in this piece in 1985 with the Newark Symphony Orchestra of Delaware, USA - a community amateur orchestra. This piece certainly required practice, but it was by no means as hard as the Brahms' 2nd Symphony. THAT was SCARY as hell to play. We did NOT stay together as an orchestra in the Brahms.

The most exciting to play was the Tchaikovsky 4th.

Thank you for posting! Very good job by the orchestra!

  • sexo para mis oidos XD

  • I love this movement! Go violas and cellos!

  • I imagine this is murder to have all the violin players learn this and keep them all together exactly at the same time...sounds very hard.

  • Not quite since these are all professionals and they know how to count their rests they wont have a problem. The piece might seem hard but it really isn't if you practice.

  • Well of course, if you practice correctly and are very dedicated, this piece will be like nothing. But that's how it is with practically any piece. I'm just pointing out, this piece is a VERY demanding piece, just like pretty much all of Beethoven's music. :P
