  • If those high voltage bulbs ever give you trouble you could always use a relay and go to a 12 volt setup (for bulbs)...I bet for long term serviceability 12v bulbs are likely easier to find than 28v...and you don't have to give radio crap (i mean shack) any of your hard earned dough.

  • @immolateus Very true, and I had thought about it. I did discover that 28 volt is very common in aviation. So hopefully I won't have too much problem finding replacements, plus they only operate for about >3 hours a month, so at that rate they should last a while. Thanks for watching!

  • I really like how it's coming together. I don't see any problems so far. You could add a center mounted tower eventually to hold a 3rd vessel up higher as your sparge water tank. That way you can heat your sparge in the BK during the mash and then move it to the upper tank while you run off. This will also give you the option to fly sparge if that vessel is insulated well. Looking forward to seeing more.
