No matter what version of windows you have you need to use the 64 bit it has a way higher success rate, i had the same problem until i tried 64 bit i have windows vista
my download thing that says run or save pops up for a sec. and dissapears.? and takes me to a page saying thanks for downloading and i didnt download it!! AHHH!!!
Mine did that.. but then I did something (Not sure) to where it wouldn't install. So I spent a whole night working on it, I got it uninstalled, and try installing it again.. but now it says that Windows Installer isn't working or something. x-x
did you find out how to do it after all.. my computer doin the same shit its gettin me mad! i even deleted my itunes and try to installin it again because my ipod wouldnt go in SOMEBODY HELP ME!!

Could be in Program Files folder located on your main drive

@perez4305 No I had to go to some computer fixers place and made me pay 100 dollars!-_- I have Itunes now but i never did find out how to fix it :/
