  • nice you guys need to do the blackwater canyon in West Virginia

  • @iowne1 have done it a few times. it's fun too.

  • nice move, 0:48 looks rad

  • f'n crazy

  • Looks like fun.

  • @edgeykilledge okay that works

  • @edgeykilledge LAME!

  • @Terran78 Love you.

  • Meaty!!! Nice lines gents.

  • Excellent song choice fellas, also some kickass footage to boot.

  • That we do brother!

  • wat classes is it?

  • there are various classes of rapids in the gorge but it should be considered a class 5 run due to the remoteness of the gorge and danger of many of the rapids.

  • classes dont seem like they would be to high but none the less a nice ride, havnt been kayaking since my late step-father and i went, would be nice to take another ride.

  • Yea its definately class 5, The whole place is pretty much gouged out with undercuts and sieves, Very tight lines, the drops just aren'rt the super clean easy biguns that some are used to seeing.

  • Amazing place to kayak though, would love to go their and try it out.

  • Sweet Vid! All the shots caught in one day? Damn, we are so lucky to be living in north carolina with our kayaks. keep it flowing.

  • I wish I could go there

  • wat classes is the gorge??

  • hello

  • dhkfalh;djklhad;lfha;jgha;df

  • Pretty cool video. I recognized all the rapids. Was it low water? I remember running this in about...1989 with Russ Kullmar and at the time it was a 2-day trip with 17 portages...and one day we got a bug up our asses and ran the whole gorge in 1 day, with just a half portage. What a great day, and fantastic paddler to be with. Watching this vid brought back good memories. Corran

  • Thanks, that was a medium level I think. It definitely gets run a bit lower from time to tome. Yeah, most people get it down to about 2-3 portages at the right water level and the bold only portage once. Glad to stroll you down mammary lane.

  • fun video. i agree, that first line's boof was amazing... =)

  • badass video man. how do i get started?? i mostly do touring kayaking but ive been wanting to this kind of kayaking for a while. where do i begin?

  • that first line is possibly the best autobooof ive ever seen

  • good video and good music

  • Halo 3?

  • Shit, Ive rafted waters like that and many class 5s but its hard for me to go kayaking on a upper class 3 without spilling.

  • learn to roll then

  • it's easy in rafts it just goes right through the waves. It's much more fun in a small boat where you feel all the waves

  • Thats crackin!

  • wow that kicked ass how long U guys been boating and what class was that 5? makes me want to go creekin

  • mint whear did you get the kayak from

  • im going on vacation to the nc moutains soon. Ill be taking my newly aquired kayak *I Had Been Using Other Peoples, But I Liked It So Much I Bought My Own* with me. I cant wait.

Great Vid. Post More Like This If Ya Can.

    ROCK ON.

  • what kind of kayaks are those?

  • creek boats

  • sweet video... shame that U.K kayaking isn't that mint! maybe one day i paddle that =)

  • just went on a mad kayacking trip. nt as extreme as that tho!

  • Nice footage. Too bad Mefford is such a raging douche! What a jerk!

  • dude thats sick, how far of a walk is it down the gorge? i live like an hour away from that

  • Sweet! What's the level?

  • How many bruises????. FANTASTIC STUFF

  • id die doing that!:O Amazing though.

  • i luv clutch

  • what is that song?

    U doing the massacre?

  • Really cool stuff... is Linville Gorge in South West N. Carolina??

  • north west nc

  • 'Start the hiking now!'

    PMSL. Classy vid.

  • Awesome Video!

  • i would like to go to that river

  • Realy nice river but far away.

  • Is Kayaking high risk? I would think you can slam into a rock and get killed.

  • it's just a risk like any sport. could happen.

  • hiya iv just started the sport in the UK and have a waves sport Z just wondering how long it took you to do an eskimo roll? reguards elliott

  • rolling is just another stroke. do it in a pool and it should take you maybe 20 minutes tops.

  • how long does it take from Babel to lake james?

  • oh, it's a ways to the takeout. probably a 4-6 hour day on the water if you didn't mess around at all. i think it really depends.

  • damn, i need something like this to do when there is no snow to ride, but sweet ass video, if i had money id be out buying a kayak right now

  • Nice work there mate. Looks like a rawkin creek!!

You did a good job with the opening sequence with the paddler names.

  • hey thanks guy!

  • Well don to you all! I enjoyed your video. :-)

  • thanks very much, lots of fun.

  • Been on those trails many times. Never have done any paddling. Used to rock climb the gorge area in my younger days.

  • You take out at Conley Cove, or you can paddle the whole thing. Sounds like a great place to live.

  • If you guys put in at the bottom of Babel trail, what trail do you go back up? You guys KICK ASS. P.S. I live about 25 miles from the gorge.

  • you guys suck balls

  • Now there, you have a point. Ball sucking is our specialty.

  • I love Linville Gorge. I lived right down the road from there off of 221.

  • very cool. it is an incredible place. stay tuned because i'm gonna have another creek paddling segment online soon with a bunch more linville footage. some of the same rapids but with different video angles and some more rapids that weren't in the last video.

  • Im digging the video man! awsum music aswell! ttyl
