I agree, Queen of the Damned was an awesome book. Interview with the Vapire was a better movie by far, but it still wasn't great. They tried to cast Antonio Banderas as Armand. Armand is supposed to be 17 forever! Best Destiny Ever!

but as someone who has read the entire lestat series I was not happy with this movie, but what movie book is good anyway, its great if you have never read the book. first off marius didnt make lestat magnus did then killed himself, hence why lestat was a rouge vamp. not training. marius was pandora's lover and really had nothing to do with lestat other than seeing each other once in a while. not to mention the mixed the vampire lestat with the queen of the damned to make one movie
