there are 3 different modes as described by the company...

skirmish:

basic deathmatch

battlefield:

these are larger deathmatch maps holding up to 64 pplz.... however it requries something liek a dedicated server i dont know it was vague

environment:

basically a team of guys try to survive agaisnt waves of ai controlled oppnents(probably the mutations there)
