Of course, people will say exactly the same thing about 60's stuff. "Pure music, no 1970's pop shit in sight". Theres good examples of all kinds of music. Take your blinkers off.
Listen for great music like this on a new radio station called "OffTheCharts" - featuring 70's (and some 80's) lost hits and chart wonders!
Go to Live365.com, type OFFTHECHARTS in the Search box and click on the station logo. The audio stream should begin. Become a VIP member and listen commercial free!
I've been trying to locate this song for 30 years. It was one of those songs that burned itself in my memory ages ago. I never knew who sang it. Anyone know where I can get an MP3 of this? Can't seem to find it on iTunes or Amazon

should have seen these dudes in the late 60s when band was called the influence.they were better than any band in the world including queen, performing in working men clubs in the north-east of England

Can't believe this is here. I saw this programme (import) at 4am on a local tv station in NY back in '75 - Miles was one of the artists and it was amazing. Took a year before the album was released stateside and he had cut his hair. Never saw the programme again after that year.
A really good singer and s'writer. I saw him live at Trent Poly round 78/79. He was good but by then his time was gone. Snuffed out in his prime by the dreaded Punk and N Wave.
Underated so underated!
