I know it's a TV staple that people stepping into another room and having a conversation about someone nearby means the person in question can't hear them, but in this case, we have them in a room with no door in between, where the person is not 15 feet away, and Ray literally screams at the top of his lungs that she ate a fly, and somehow the woman doesn't hear them? She only figures out later when they are at her apartment? Strains credulity just a bit too much, even for a TV show.

Every Raymond episode was hysterical, but this one really takes the cake! (In the Raymond coffee-table book, Romano said that he almost passed out when he had to scream that line; you can see him sway a bit). I can watch these scenes over and over again, and laugh just as hard each time.

It could have been directed better - with Ray saying precisely the same line and reacting the same way but doing it in a LOW WHISPER. Just as funny - but believable.
