  • AAAWSOME!!! I realy liked that tube glow!! Wicked video.

    THUMBS UP*

  • Molto bello :)

  • grazie caro

  • At about 3:40 the anode is reaching self-destruct temperature...

  • @WauliPaulnuts you seem to know a lot about electronics..

  • WTF did I watch? :O

  • Achtung! wrap the balls in foil!

  • That was too cool but that high voltage rectifier like died at the end...

    RIP: high voltage rectifier dude...

  • Could I use this to see through the walls of my neighbors house into her shower? I mean I was just wondering.

  • hihihihihihihi!!!!!!!!

Yes you can see the next door girl's "patatina" ;-)

  • German geiger counter ^^

  • Right that's it... let's see you crank this one up unti it pops.. RIGHT UP... lots and lots of volts... I wanna see it go BANG! :)

  • Smack My Bitch Up!

  • Have you managed to become visible again?

  • The display says mrad/h is that millie rad pro hour = 1/1000 rad ?

  • yesss

  • ☢☢☢

  • Ma non hai preso un sacco di radiazione stando li?

  • no perchè io ero nell'altra stanza e l'aria e i muri in cemento mi schermavano!

    ciao

  • Nice demonstration. But I think that you are overreacting with safty precautions. If you use it with short bursts (like in this video), it poses no danger.

  • I love the assumption that one is educated because they are semi-fluent in a variety of English. As to an American claiming to speak English!

  • Tried this. it works even better with 6BK4 tubes.

  • I must go read how this works again....

  • hOly Shit!

  • Did you mutate into the incredible hulk after that???? What was the max mrad/h output? Looked like it was up to 200

  • hehe...no,dont' worry!

I was in another room, only the camera and the probe were in front of the tube!

    right, approximately 200-250 mRad/h.

    ciao!

  • @ferro88and ....I love the fact that one thinks he is educated to the properties of x-rays and their interaction with matter... When you were operating the geiger counter you most certainly in the same room with mrad limits approaching 500/h, which is over 50 times what is federally aloud to leave the lead encasing of an xray tube in a hospital setting.Residential concrete did not stop the ionizing radiation from penetrating all with-in a 100ft radius.. Very smart experiment....

  • thanks dear!

  • Did you mutate into the incredible hulk after that????

  • I KNOW I can relate. I read quantum physics in my spare time. I just love all the haters on youtube!

  • Sempre bello questo video!!! =)

    Ciao

  • @ferro88and

hmmm... buono a sapersi! grazie mille! =)

    Ciao vecchio!!!! xD

  • ok....allora appena rientro a casa provo!

    hola!

  • @ferro88and we speak english in the united states

  • @markd514 You can use google translate,my dear friend!!

  • @markd514 the world is not the states. the states are not the world. u are just ONE of hundreds. U.S. citizens know that if they are not dumb like horse shit.

  • @markd514

they might be in a nother country, and the u.s. doesn't have a set language, I speak russian, get over it you dick

  • @markd514 and they speak Russian in Russia. who knew? :)

  • Why would you do that? I am sure I could build one, but it is pointless and dangerous.

uld an antigravity machine and I will be impresssed

  • e chi ti dice di costruirlo?????

  • @markd514 Who the devil wants to impress you? It's not pointless if you're studying that but I doubt you can relate; it's not dangerous if you know what you're doing, which I... never mind

  • good response emerset!!!!

I think that uninformed people speak too much!

    ciao!

  • so you could make a flyback driver that produces abuot 100-120kV but it needs good flyback that wont arc over i can give you schematic if you need

  • Yes,you are right!

infact i will use a flyback until 30kv and I will use a voltage multiplier to arrive to 120 kv!

Well, if you want I will give you my mail: ferro_88@ymail.com

    Ciao!

  • tell me when you try

and be careful couse you can lose your seeds and get cancer with x-rays

anyways try with that rectifier i think weak image should apear

i will buy x-tube from e-bay and i will try to make photos with that

  • Yea sprogdiklis but dont worry about my health!!!!

mmm the problem in rectiefier vacuum tube is about the voltage that I used...30 kv generate low energy x radiation...

I think we must use real x-rays tube...so we will make a very god radiography!

probably not less than 100 kv!

  • can you make photos with that?

  • No...I think that the radiations aren't strong enough!

Anyway I will try with a real x rays tube!!!!!! ;)

  • question:

how many Volts DC did you put on that tube to get the wanted X-ray's and how many Ampere's did you pull

  • reverse the polarity. + cathode, - anode. its better.

  • ...mmmm I tried but i didn't improve the x rays emissions!!!

  • hey, that's a german radiation detector, lol. =)

cool video though! i have some of these tubes as well, but still no safe place to try it out.

  • Yes!A good military german surplus!!!

If I used my Bicron I had certainly saturation my pancake probe!

    I don't belive that you haven't a cellar,try in your kitchen! ;)

  • Doofenschmirts Evil inc.

  • Ah Ah,yu'r right!!!

    Now I change my avatar!!!

    Thanks!

  • Allow me to say that as awesome as the setup is, and how interesting the rectifier tube's HV plasma looks, the moment that meter's alarm went off I'd be booking it out of there real quick. Awesome video though. =D

  • Thanks TNT!!!!

  • that tube is beautiful

  • Yes,I think so!!!

    bye
