Sony Ericsson TM506 3G for T-Mobile

Mine doesn't hold a charge anymore. It'll show that it's charging but when you unplug it after an hour, the battery bar doesn't even move. I'm trying a different battery here and see if it'll do anything.

Any advice/hints are appreciated.

I got this phone on Jnauary 2009 and it is the most durable phone I ever had. It's been through the washer about 6 times, and I accidently ran it over with my car a few times. The thing I really dont like is that the microphone is broken on it (probably because it went through the washer) and this thing is the slowest thing ever! I would not recommend this phone at all...

i recently upgraded my plan for 2 more years which means i get this phone for free. haha well so far ive had it of a week and its been real good. Good camera, loud music, good battery, easy to text. overall real nice. the only thing i kinda dont like its since its a flip phone the flip is kinda wably, and when u txt there is like a .2 sec delay. but thats how all sony ericsson phones are. no big deal. overall nice phone. i recomend :)

it depends you can get apps like yahoo mail on free but with a blackberry you can get on wifi for free. so personally id choose the blackberry.

do you have a t-mobile phone? cuz if you upgrade it to blackberry you wont have too but if your starting a plan with that phone youll have to pay for data plans.

there pretty good if you use ur fones more like computers the calls pretty good. there good data phones. id recommend it..you might have to talk to t-mobile so you dont have to buy a data plan and blackberrys are a little pricey. you can download really cool apps and stuff online too

Well, I just checked t-mobile online and the data service fee is required for the blackberry but they didnt make me add it to my cart, so i just had the PHONE in my cart. I think its much better to buy phones online, so that way, u dont have to buy the data service fee or any other fees.

YES! The screen is VERY clear. If you have a picture that is in hq, it will show you in hq. Not all distorted and pixelized like other phones. I currently own this phone and I personally love it. Except that the sound on my phone is really low for some reason. I don't know if I spilled liquid or something near the headphone but I have to set mine to speakerphone if I am in a loud room.

What is most interesting about this phone to me was the fact it can do 30 frames per second video at 320x240. and the audio is clear. I also have a Samsung Behold and the video frame rate sucks badly on it.

Far better. The Razr has a design problem: when you open and close the phone, it stresses a cable in the phone that's essential for proper function.

Put it another way: every time you open or close a Razr, you're shortening its lifespan. TM506 doesn't have that issue.

Volume is a little quiet, even maxed out, but I like the phone a lot anyway.

I've had this phone for about four months now and I definitely love it.

Not enough is said about the quality of the camera. It is VERY good.

My only qualm is that it doesn't come with any kind of data cable. You have to purchase it separately.

Don't love it but don't hate it. Short battery life is a real pain but sound clarity is pretty good. Is a little slow at times and can stutter. Love the sleek design. Have had it for about 6 or so months now with my T-Mobile prepaid plan and for that alone its perfect and will soon become a backup phone when I go over to the iPhone.

i dunno what these people are talking about. i have this phone and i hate it.

it randomly shuts off on me, lags and freezes like an old computer, and the only way i can save more than like, 15 pictures is by turning it off and then wating like, 5 minutes, and turning it back on again. i had to delete all of my games cause mine barely has any room on it.

the only thing that's good about it is it's camera- it takes quite nice pictures. but other than that, it sucks.

The reason why your phone doesn't hold many pictures, is because it doesnt have enough memory. You must puschase a larger memory stick in order for the the phone to work faster.

Yeah the charger plug is wierd to pull out. I read the manual, it says you have to tilt it UPWARDS for it to come out. It works, it sorta pops out on its own when u tilt it upwards, but it just feels wierd, like if im gonna break it. Idk maybe its supposed to be like that.

Idk how to use the bluetooth downloading, but you can buy a usb cable for it, and connect it to your computer and transfer mp3s, ringtones, pics, etc. You can even use mp3 songs as your ringtone.
