  • We already know. We just have to take responsibility.

  • may be one day we will know the universe is like a clay and we can model it any way we want...... !

  • its funny how atheists automatically assume that a scientist cannot believe in a God, or how they think that science disproves God. science proves the existence of a God. The bible declared that earth was round when our science said it was flat. the bible declared that the earth hangs on nothing when science thought it was on a pedestal.

  • @vargasg It's funny how you assume that anyone who believes in the truth of science is an Athiest.

  • @vargasg Our science did tell us the earth was a sphere since greek antiquity. The bible told us the earth was a flat circle. It's not for nothing that the Church burned any who stood by the truth about the earth's shape.

And you seem to disregard the fact the Bible says the earth is at the center of the universe. In fact, you must disregard the bible as a whole if you want to talk about coherence.

  • Oh my goodness, I'm a cauliflower!

  • The 3-D effects in this video are amazing. I enjoyed showing it to my Psychology class during the chapter on Nurture versus Nature. Great job!

  • You religious people make me sad.

  • I think science proves there is a God. The all knowing , the one consciousness is God. DUH

  • How does something "Encode instructions deep within itself"? It doesn't. We do all have similar DNA. Just like cars, they all have wheels, and transmissions, the basic components. But this is not because they evolved from one another! They were each designed differently, with the same basic materials and systems. DESIGNED.

  • @HotDangProductions the questions you are asking are already answered...you just dont pick up the apples in front of you and expect anyone else do it

  • How does something "Encode unstructions deep within itself"? It doesn't. We do all have similar DNA. Just like cars, they all have wheels, and transmissions, the basic components. But this is not because they evolved from one another! They were each designed differently, with the same basic materials and systems. DESIGNED.

  • @HotDangProductions

of course humans didn't evolve "from one another" ..... there are figuratively mountains of textbooks and peer-reviewed journal articles on this subject. It would benefit you to pick up a book and at least attempt to become somewhat science literate. Aren't you embarrassed?

  • Why don't you fucking scientists work on real problems instead of wasting tax dollars on this human gene crap. Quit messing with Gods work.

  • @rebublicanpower Ah, the ignorance of the Right Wing. Did you miss the part where they could determine who would have cancer? They could manufacture a T-cell, and cure AIDS. A lot of illnesses would go away, and a lot of problems could be solved with this science.

  • @rebublicanpower lol get the f out of here!

  • @rebublicanpower Scientists are the ones that work on real problems, you fucking stupid, dumb and ignorant MORON !!! keep reading your science fiction book called the bible. SCIENCE RULES !!!!

  • This is the religion of evolution. Observing molecules doesn't prove that there is no creator.

  • @cmpresents: You're absolutely right. It simply makes a creator unnecessary.

  • HAHA this is the Best Comedy I have ever heard

  • well, when you people create at least a fly, or a bug. That time I'd say that those books are useful, but as of now, I know that God who created us.

  • These videos are a breeding ground for dumb shits to argue with each other

    inb4 shitstorm

    oh wai

  • @Aldawok12 I met a guy named muran. What was unfortunate was that he had a genetic defect that made it impossible for him to balance, making him look like a mental retard while still retaining excellent mental functions. He did not like to tell people what his name was.

  • i wanna learn about my ancestors man, maybe my grand grand father was a roman general or sumthin lol

  • 4:27 lol

  • I love these videos!!!!!!!

  • i hate religious nut jobs . Fuck all of you

  • @system0system0 Back at ya dipshit. open your eyes to reality and you'll, stop bluindly believing all the assholes you'll be joining in hell if you don't wake up. Yeah, DNA just happened - moron.

  • @mikerade nope... God just happened - moran

  • You spelled "moron" wrong

  • wow who knew a whale was more closely linked with a mouse than a fish.

  • The child at 8:09 looked exactly like me when i was 9 years old xD

  • I smell a lawsuit...

  • what a u mean?

  • You could sue them for misuse of your image.

  • o.....ah i guessi could.

  • only in america

  • question to think about. If humans are so intelligent why is it that humans cant figure out how not to distroy. there is know the meaning of smartor stuppidity just the meaning of distructions.

  • how come religous ppl cant figure it out?

anyway the answer to that is the vastly differrent type of society we live in. we can be credited to a lot of positive creations but also some negative ones like greed and hatred. however not to say animals dont destroy what they cant understand.

  • I figured it out a long time ago, the scriptures simply state, 'it does not belong to earthling man to direct his own step..' hence the destruction we see today.

  • You can't just quote the bible and say that answers the question. Just because it was written in the Bible/Queran etc isn't a reason for things.

  • @twinkazz just to fix your spelling, it's called "Qur'an"

  • @Lunarek You have the nerve to correct twinkazz, when in the previous post you said 'I know that God who created us'. It's 'I know that IT IS God who created us'. Go to jail, do not collect £200

  • @CreationistsGoToHell ? I don't see the difference, I think they both mean the same thing don't they? or is my sentence to complex that you had to study it?

  • @watchdog3: Sure. Self-loathing is a fine thing in the abstract.

"meaning of smarter stuppidity". I'll buy that.

  • Of course the Human Genome is awesomely overwhelming... I can hardly read a 20-page instruction book, let alone a 3 billion-nucleotide instruction book.

  • Yea thats evolution for ya! Pure logic right there! Hehe!

  • I see you're in Australia. What an interesting place to find the most exotic fauna imaginable! Marsupial mammals (stop me if you heard this) were out-competed in almost all cases by placental mammals where they existed together, but continental drift tore apart Australia "quickly" enough to allow many marsupial species to continue to survive on the isolated continent.

  • Genocide isn't the answer. Its truth that is, let them wallow in their Ideological filth. (religious people)

  • Just like the religion of Christians?

the difference is that evolution is proven and has more evidence than Christians ever dreamed of

  • theory is proven hypothesis is a prediction so if you call it a theory then it is proven

  • You have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that you are a dipshit.

  • You are kind of right, just like the theories of gravity and relativity, they are all just theories, but they all fit with observation, all predict accurately outcomes of experiments, and have multitudes of properly collected data to support them, and as soon as they don´t fit with observed results they will be scrapped. If only the same was true of abrahamic (and other) religion, we would have been free of its stupidity for centuries.

  • "It isn't and can't be proven. Therefore it isn't factual."

One, evolution is proven well beyond ANY reasonable doubt. Secondly, If "It can't be proven. therefore it isn't factual", then what does that say about Yahweh, Zeus, Allah and ect?

Evolution has NOTHING to do with a god or gods, Even if somehow we found evidence that disproved the whole theory, creationism would still be wrong. The bibles creation story is completely made up by intellectually immature men.

  • Being called ignorant by a creationist is like being called yellow by a banana.

You don't understand what a scientific theory is. Evolution does not try to do anything. It certainly doesn't say if there is, or isn't a guiding intelligence.

Are you just dismissing it because it doesn't fit the bible?? Well neither does disease, the shape of the earth, morality, the sun, the age of the earth and many other things. Does that mean they are wrong too?

    Yahweh isn't the only god...

  • I'm sorry but you are wrong.

First there is no such thing and an "evolutionist". Are you a gravatationalist?

You need to stop and think for a second. You really think an entity with the ability to create the universe is going to sit and hand craft each living thing one by one? It wouldn't make sense.

Evolution isn't the only undeniable principle that prove the bible isn't literal.

You're ignoring everything that's really special about the world.

  • AHH! the old "evolved from nothing trick" Well, no one claims that we evolved from nothing. Science explains (currently) all the way back to the Big Bang. Before that no one knows, thats science.

But, isn't it RELIGION that CLAIMS that their gods were always here? How did god evolve and from whom??? You may want to trust in blind faith, I will trust in fact and evidence. truce.

  • Faith is holding a belief without or regardless of evidence to be true. Evolution doesn't fit that category. It doesn't matter what god or spiritual text you believe in. Humans were not created in their present form. The statement "You have to have faith in accidents to believe we evolved from nothing." demonstrates your complete lack of understanding of the unifying principle of biology.

Take a look at my video. I've read the bible cover to cover.

  • "If anything we creationist consider them deeply"

and then ignore the facts and come to the conclusion that god did it.

It's important to know what you're saying, because some of us are capable of understanding the implications behind the words.

Besides, if bible prophecy proves itself, where's Jesus? His disciples all died when they were supposed to still be alive when he returned. That means bible prophecy disproves the bible, which means it's bogus! Congratulations, you've found Truth.

  • yeah a vague work doesn't do much for the "believers".

  • No you don't you just say hey that happened and we can prove it heck what do you know. Faith is faith in something you don't KNOW exists something such as your sky spook!

    Grow up.

  • Nah the definition of faith is spelt out in the bible, Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. Note that it talks of realities and not fairytales.. We have faith in Jehovahs promises, you trust in man, and the bible says Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.

  • I dont care.

Its faith. All religions have it.

  • AHAHAH "gravitationalist"! Awesome... using that!

  • "AHAHAH "gravitationalist"! Awesome... using that"

lol yea man! But I believe the credit goes to DonExodus2.

  • @ThatLoudGuyMike The sape of the earth?

  • @ThatLoudGuyMike Respect ----> up

  • @ThatLoudGuyMike My respect for you is ridiculously high, like, over 9000....

TheApeThatSeesNoneedForMathSoTheEvelotuionietSseeNoNeed4God

  • @Quaunta Not it's not. Just because you are not of the same field of study doesn't mean you have no right to criticize others of different subject matters. Any biologist could say their opinion on business and vice versa. That's social freedom of opinion. So it makes perfect sense for a creationist and evolutionist to discuss the origin of life and all that subtext.

  • @CreationTruth: You seem to be confused. Evolution, for example, is factual; it has been observed. The ToE is a theory about how it occurs. There are guesswork (hypotheses?) and theories within evolution; the ToE is a theory. DNA proves nothing of a sort; it's content can be fully explained b y the theory. There are still some points of contention in details, but it is broadly held.

Speak of ignorance, your post reels from bad usage and bad understanding.

  • The same reasoning can be easily applied to you "god" and any other fairytale.

"god" is just a theory...there is no proof.

And NO one book from the bronzage with absolutely no supporting evidence does NOT count as any form of evidence that would remotely stand up to scientific testing

  • @hieu1994Never - a theory is a hypothesis which correctly describes teh bahavior of it's range of data. That doesn't assure that all such data has been considered, so a theory is never really proven. Predictions are something that theories sometimes do; if they are proven then they join the ranks of the evidence for the theory.

  • @puncheex Although it is still a theory, it is a VERY good one, so good that as new science shows up it just provides more evidence for it. And if you know about the scientific community, they are EXTREMELY cut throat and aggressive, and to think that after a hundred years, and this theory is still not shot down.

  • @hieu1994: What is "it"? Philthy122 mentions a theory of god; I presume that's not what you're talking about. I'm well aware of the way the scientific community operates; I've worked in close proximity for many years.

If evolution is the theory you are talking about, then I agree with you.

  • @puncheex Yes I was referring to the theory of evolution.

  • LOL! Wait, are you a satirist?

  • "Evolution is still just theory. There is no proof "

Speciation, natural selection, mutation and change over time are fact and evolution is the theory that describes those facts. Just like falling is a fact, and gravity is the theory that describes it. Both supported by massive amounts of evidence and contradicted by none. Micro and Macro-evolution have been directly observed. Not to mention genetics, transitional forms, and fossil order and ect. Even if it was proved wrong, creation still is.

  • The grocer's going to be angry you cut his cauliflower and just left it there.

  • ★★★★★

  • ion Give it up. 'much' is seriously living in a deep delusional state. His grasp of reality is far from normal and his cognition is wanting. I would suggest we just let him spew his chunks of rectally extracted assertions so that all on YT can witness the pwnage of yet another theist who refuses to question his stance. You see, he is afraid to blaspheme his god for he will burn in an eternal hellfire if he actually joins reality.

  • ionz75

    I think much ran away.

  • Let's list your 'truths' shall we:

-Global flood, wiping out all living things except for a boat full of organisms

-Virgin birth from a magical conception

    -Incestuous start to Mankind, twice

    -Sun revolves around earth

-Resurrection from death and then floating up into some place in the sky

    -Parting of a sea

-I could go on but I am starting to piss myself from laughter

  • If you are not aware that you may soon drink the results of your laughter...evindence will be of no use to you.

  • I see evidence is already of no use for you. That is unfortunate. I would suggest that you sell your car, not buy any crude oil products, type on your keyboard, look at your TV, listen to radio, turn on an electric appliance, take ANY pill, surgery, or bandage, or fly in a plane, take a bicycle ride, or use ANY device that science has invented. You see, they can be trusted because of the scientific method. Too bad you don't 'believe' in this all important process.

  • much

So, I gather that this sky daddy that you worship is going to 'take me out' for blaspheming or dissing him? You keep telling me that I am not long for this world. I have no clue when my body becomes detritivore food. Neither do you. But I sure as hell will continue to live my life well since this is probably (99.9999%) the only one I will see or have. While I am here, I feel it's moral of me to help delusional folks like yourself leave their disorder behind. I can feel your xtian love.:)

  • *satires you* You are all Dooomed... dooomed... dooomed... *Briiiiiiiiiiiing*

    Now Go!

  • Funny how when I wrote the Biology exams to satisfy the state board to be able to teach kids, there was not one question of your god or anything written in your holy book. Wonder why? I guess they missed that part of Noah and those millions of animals on his boat. I guess they missed the idea of Mankind getting it's start through incest, two times, according to your 'text' of reality. Could it be that it's all bullcrap and worthless info? Just maybe.

  • Perhaps this is why the human ear reverts back into cauliflower when struck with sufficient force.

    lol I couldn't resist.

  • much

As to 'believing' in science, we don't have to do that. We accept it's conclusions and understand how those conclusions were reached. We 'trust' it's methods and ways. So do you everytime you get in your car and drive, put fuel in the tank, plug in an appliance, take a medicine, prove a criminal guilty or not guilty from forensics. You fail.

  • People who knew Truth believed in God before cars, before fossil fuel was discovered and before modern appliances and will continue after,, also forensics has also falsely condemned the innocent,..most if not all medicines come from the earth, God's green Earth....comming from the likes of you, I consider failing a copliment.

  • What testimony might you be referring to?

  • cool vid... very interesting.

  • 99,9% not 99%

  • I was really astounded by the fact that we share 50% with a vegetable. Next time I go in the supermarket, I'll greet my brothers and sisters ;D

  • Great video, although i HATE snakes, i had to look away

  • snakes don't hate you. in fact they don't give a crap about your (or my) existence.

i fail to understand a human being hating a mindless animal.

  • If upon seeing something, you have a strong desire to end it's life, I'd say that qualifies as hate.

  • i keep snakes and scorpions and 1 cat, they are not mindless, and they do care about our existance... as it affects theirs!

but if i died they wouldnt mourn... well my cat would.

  • @Rex: i know what hates is, just i don't understand it when is focused towards and animal.

@public: they are mindless. they act on instinct and reflexes. when i say "mindless" i reffer to a mind like ours not a rudimentary one that consists in the upper mentioned elements.

No, your cat wouldn't mourn :)

  • "hate", "an animal"

  • yes she would, not like us, but whenever i leave she meyows and looks for me, and when i sleep she head buts me untill i wake up and let her know its me, then she lays back down and purrs.

she had a very abusive past and is quite attatched to me. she will wake up meyowing in her sleep and in a pannic locate me and make sure i am still around.

i can walk her without a leash, and she can tell me apart from everyone else, and she makes her preference clear.

  • Ok, maybe hate is to strong a word, i have a phobia of them, totally irrational i know, but it stems from an incident in childhood

  • One of the best videos I have seen on You Tube.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • How comes that religion and science are so opposed in the US. Americans deprive themselves from the benefits of both systems. What a strange controverse.

  • Yes it all happened by accident. By a big bang!

    Delusional really.

  • Or maybe it was an invisible sky daddy....

    Delusional ^2

  • Awesome!

and congratulation to you for Atheist Experience shout out on the other video! Very Kool!

  • Why cant any video say that our closest relative is the Bonobo... They always say its gorillas or chimps because that is what everyone has heard of...

  • well the closest relative is the chimpanzee. dna and genes are closest to ours

  • That was awesome!

With all that has been discovered about the human body it makes one wonder how anyone can believe that there is a soul tucked somewhere in the skull of every human being or, where the mouth piece is on the heart that speaks to said god. I certainly hope human kind will come out of the dark ages before I cease to exist. I am touched that a great many have come out of the closet recently. That in itself is satisfying and brings hope of a future for this planet.

  • Just a question.... Dont they teach this in elementary school (hope that was the correct translation, referring to grad 7-9) in America?

  • Middle school...and no. Not back in the 80's and not now. They teach basic cell biology but not the evolutionary relationships. There is still no mention of evolution in Georgia or any southeasten states in US. Thats public schools...private schools are usually x-tian so they get biblical teaching. They graduate retarded.

  • No wonder that its a nation thats intellectually down the drain then....

  • I was taught evolutionary theory in middle school biology, and I grew up in the reddest, most conservative state in the USA; Utah. Evolution, as far as I know, is on the official curriculum of every single state. So it's not as bad as it might seem at first...

  • I can see the pro-life cround jumpling on this video right now.

  • crowd?

  • This is a really interesting vid. I have only one problem. Who let that nutter walk around the supermarket with a knife ruthless slicing cauliflower.

  • cool vid

  • god did that just to fool us? right (LOL)

  • i seen this video on itune it's cool to see it posted on youtube

  • Gen from Genes

    ome from Chromosome

People who believe in god use this in their argue because when you look at this system of the human body, and the flawless order in space, You must believe that there is a creator for this world, and couldn't have just been created by chance.

  • There is no flawless order in space...It is full of destruction and disorder too. Arguing for the existance of a superior being is futile, though now the body may look impossible to form via evolution in some peoples eyes, in a few years from now a new discovery may show that it may have been rather probable to happen.

Very much like Newton ad gravity between planets...

  • That echo is pretty shitty. Good video, otherwise.

  • Amazing video, 5stars for sure, keep up the good work!

  • One can argue that we have the same or similar genome to other animals because God used clay of the same composition. Lol

  • That was SUCH perfect timing. I had just tried to explain this to someone on a MySpace blog and then I signed out and found this in my subscriptions. Thanks much.

  • yea, i've been subscribed to cassiopeia project for some time now. If you haven't subscribed you should :)

  • "No thanks, I rather God's History. "

    *headdesk*

And don't forget guys. Babies come from storks.

  • "The Humon Jenome"

    UGH!!!

  • "colaflowers" lol

  • i reacted to that to... the "ge" in genome is pronounced "dje" if i am not mistaken...

an the "humon" -- i some times say that to be funny...

"hjumen" (or something) would have been a more correct way of saying it..

(i am no good with phonetics though...)

  • I just visited the site.

This Cassiopeia Project is excellent stuff.

I feel lucky to have found it.

    Thanks so much, FFreeThinker!

  • Chimp DNA is 98% same as humans

All human DNA is 99.9% the same as everyone elses DNA

Then along comes the US war machine, to genetically engineer a half-bacteria & half-virus: The mycoplasm

    Way to go America!

  • i made the votebott video and it fixxed it should i pull the vid or not

  • That last bit about the kid and the mouse was very interesting indeed. I never knew we could have such similar mutations.

  • This was a real cheer up in the middle of a depressing week. Thanks FFreeThinker!

  • How close are we to figuring out how the blueprint in DNA works? I know we can tell what genes create proteins and such, but have they figured out what gives us our shape? I know Hox Genes tell okay head here, feet here and such, but now does it determin the shape of the human body compared to a eagle, how many cells of skin cells fullowed by muscles and such in every party.

  • The secret is in gene expression regulation. The genome works more like a computer program than just list of parts. Don't expect an answer like "this gene codes for your shape". Knowing the sequence is far from enough. Look up systems biology.

  • True, but tehre still would have to be some form of blue print in ther ewouldn't there? Something to be sure that the right cells and such form in the right spots. Or least something that regulates and keeps the early embryo forming in the right way. Like we know what genes activate eyes, and can place eyes in other spots, but do we know how the eye is formed in thsoe spots?

    Bleah hope I'm making sense..

  • How about the biggest question of all.. If you had children would you alter their DNA?

  • the human genome can be transposed into a detailed program written in programming language sustained on a platform that can handle 2bit-length information units.

computers today can only handle binary as base unit.

the growth for the number of possibilities..exponential.

not that DNA contains most of the syntax of any high level programming language, but we are beginning to uncover unthinkable processing power thanks to other concepts we can learn of from DNA.

    e.g. : messy genetic algorithms

  • It is funny how creationists are having such a hard time understanding that life arose spontaneously through natural processes although they can see how these natural processes are now producing a quadrillion new DNA molecules per second on Earth.

Whenever there is some little thing they can't see or understand they put god there with his wand. That is not conducive to further our progress. Real knowledge leads to applications. Pretended knowledge never does that.

  • I wish this video was longer.

  • The way he says "genome" is extremely irritating.

  • agree je-num ick

  • Agree! I was gonna comment on that aswell, its the same E as "sweet".. fuck sake.. :P

  • Yeah, the ginome. The natural blueprints for gin..........

  • It is time to give up on bronze age myths and learn how nature works.

  • It sounds like "the human jennum"

  • i thought it was 213 bones :-/

  • Genes is always a fascinating subject.

They came about a long time ago and since then they have via Evolution grown to form the most complex systems in this tiny part of the universe.

Life, the most fascinating thing this cold, empty and simple universe have made.

  • fascinating

  • Who created this god? Seriously.

  • Insane people create gods.

  • Desperate people create gods when they have nowhere else to turn. Insane people believe in them when they have no reason to.

  • People have there own reason why they believe in god's and not all insane people believe in god. How brain is primed for a belief in god apparently superstition has an evolutionary advantage. One thing I noticed and it's the one reason why I stop calling myself an atheist is that atheist are going fundamental with the idea "I'm to smart to believe in god "

  • One aspect of religion is that it is the ultimate desperation in wishful thinking.

Life is a bitch and then you die. This can become too much to handle.

  • No no, it's life's a bitch and then you marry one J/k. Heh Though you are right on the desperation...it's all wistful thinking...and a sad thinking at that.

  • Those who believe in the afterlife have a lot of questions to answer.

I simply do not understand how a brain can continue to function after it has decomposed and dissolved completely and been dispersed over the universe.

I also don't understand what kind of experiences one has in this afterlife, if one ever gets tired, bored, inspired. Is it all about singing hymns and how will that feel after the first 10^99 years?

  • Heh tell me about it, I wouldn't mind this not being the end, but to me heaven sounds boring, give me reincarnation where I can come back here, or maybe to another planet...or be a animal for a while experience new thigns, learn new things. Maybe return as a human in a few thousand years and see what we've learnt, sure beats this whole go to heaven and be bored for eternity.

  • I suffer with dyslexia so I cant distinguish words when I'm writing and find it frustrating trying to write down what I'm thinking I take ages to type. I'm studying physics at a foundation level I found a book on quantum mechanics still learning the equation but the theory's took me aback because I found it unsettling that things are relay way out of how control and by disproving my reality I mean the one used in understanding the conventional law of physics.

  • Okay, sounds good.

I took advanced courses in quantum mechanics but never used it in my research. My specialty is plasma physics.

It is strange but so is consciousness and feelings and many things.

In our middle world we have intuitive concepts such as hard, soft, sticky, wet, etc. There are lots of these things. You have to realize quite a bit about what the brain is to get to a point where you can be satisfied so to speak with reality.

It beats being satisfied with a fake god explanation.

  • i dont think much on the god explanation thing not when you have black bodies and quantum cats to think about

  • Those cats are really something.

  • I think we need to define insane because in a way it was the insane that made science what it is to day

  • I wonder what you mean when you say that insane people made science into what it is today.

When I think of insane then I think of people who do not respond to reality, people who have their minds detached from this particular aspect of our experience.

Science is then by definition sane. Religion is insane.

  • Your experience of life would most likely be biased to your own perspective (But your talking about a collective perspective) discovery's in science are made by destroying the current understanding of reality so if people are decided on one reality yet some one comes along and see things differently were ever that person is right or wrong he is too the people insane until people
