Everytime i´m watching this clip, the joy gives me heebie-jeebies and wet eyes. I love nascar for high speed formation flights and door-to-door racing like this, - and of course the V8 music. The australian V8 Supercar series is pretty good and exciting racing as well. It´s a shame we don´t get to see neither of them on german TV. Our boring DTM series with all it´s expensive technology is good for nothing but putting me to sleep.

You'll never forget the first time you hear all 43 cars coming around in full throat at your first NASCAR race.. For me it was the late 1980's at the Charlotte Motor Speedway...To this day I can remember the sound of the engines bouncing off the outside wall on the backstrech working their way closer to you and then, WOW when they go to you, the roar of the engines literally could be felt in your rib cage! I always make it a point to hear lap one with no hearing protection. Go once if you can!

Being in the infield beats sitting in the stands anyday. The cars are so much louder and the sound is all around you the whole lap, you have a perfect view. The cars shine way more, and you have the party's after the race ends.
