"I suppose that The Prisoner is the sort of thing where a thousand people might have a different interpretation of it, which I think is very gratifying. I am glad that's the way it was" .......
Specter1957 - I'm beginning to wonder if it can hold it's own against the original (the new Prisoner). I mean just look at the trailer! The Village looks about as lifeless and without personality as a new rethread of a classic setting could. The original Village had a life all it's own almost, but this one... seems exactly what it looks like, a set, nothing more.
Also I have a bad feeling they completely threw out the riveting original plot for a boring alsoran new vision of the series.
@paullubliner the folks at lotus sold the rights to the car design to Caterham......and the vehicles are now available in North America( one of the distributers is in Canada) and the U.S. Distributer is located in Denver......thinking on my next contract that I may indulge myself and get a super 7 for running around here in Florida
@Specter1957 and the best part is........they are legal here in the states....I guess they got the certification the last couple of years......they are using cosworth and duratec engines....plus they have a version being powered by the Hayabusa motorcylce engine
Gee -- I guess that Brit sports cars didn't need "safety belts" or roll bars. This show was quirky as hell but it was also great at the same time.

I loved this font! Loved the rounded doors! Theme song! Patrick! Just hated when they thought it could be remade a few years ago.

Groovy theme music although Hawaii 5-0's theme music to this day trumps this and a lot of others.

One of the best series to ever come out on either side of the Atlantic.
It became surprisingly popular on both ITV (UK) and CBS (U.S.A.).
In the UK, it was first broadcast during the Fall of 1967; in the 'States, it was seen during the Summer of 1968.

Christopher Nolan (the director of "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight") prepare the adaptation of this series to the big screen.
