  • Hiya, They are Autometer gauges. Made in USA, and they have a comprehensive website. We are in Australia, so bought them through Revolution Racegear in Hobart. Wherever you are at, you can check the website and look for stockists. TYhey are a great product, very reliable and look awesome. If you are looking for a more retro look, htey have a range of those too. Thanks for watching!

  • Hello, where you purchased your gauges? I'd much appreciate information

  • Jesus, what is that loud ass grinding noise?

  • @CeletenteFan223 That my friend is simply the fuel pump without the proper rubber bushes. It is actually a vibration with the metal mounts on the metal bracket. It made a helluva racket while we modified the mounts to accept a stronger bracketry and thicker rubbers. It is done now. Thanks for watching.

  • I'd just assume have the original gauges. Something mystical and romantic about a lonely drive out on the highway at night in an old car with those old gauges.

  • @keyofdavid888 We love the old gauges, but they don't work with the new distributor and the racing steering wheel cuts through them anyway. We are building a race car this time, but we have kept all the parts to restore another '73 to almost original and that WILL keep that old romantic feeling with the original wheel, gauges, seats, sound, etc. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

  • Excellent Worksmanship! I did a carbon overlay in my 73, but would love to see what you do! You should sell the harness /wiring!

  • you're low on fuel ;p

  • @Odinsonn Ha, very funny. I never noticed. lol. With a 383ci donk, we won't be going very far at all. Since then we have actually calibtrated the gauge so that it does in fact record the 125L in the tank. Ahh, I'm still chuckling. Mind you, we ran a couple of stages in Targa on fumes, even with 125L on board!

  • @websimple I have a 73 mach1 I'm still working on too. 351c...it's always low on fuel lol

  • question y is the driver on the wrong side of the car????

  • @MustangGT460 Were you standing upside down?? Seriously, this is in Australia so we have to do Right Hand Drive conversions, therefore the driver sits on the right and drives on the left of the road.

  • @websimple oh ok just wondering cool dash tho car sounds nice i have a 72 mach 1 it and those gauges are just way cool.

  • @MustangGT460 My reply was supposed to be funny, but I have just re-read it and it doesnt sound funny at all. Sorry. Thanks for watching, and yes, the gauges look sweet. The cluster gauges fit in the '73 with a backing plate and some minor modifications, but I don't know about the '72. The speedo does require a hall effect speed sender that can be supplied by Autometer. The 3 extra gauges fit, but not with the original cover, so had to mod that. The '72 Mach 1 is a great car - enjoy!

  • What size gauges did you order for oil, alt, temp and fuel gauge?

    I have a 71 Mach 1 I am building to drag race.

    Thanks

  • @performanceponys In the Nexus range of Autometer gauges, I believe there are only the 2 1/16" size in those gauges, and they are the ones we got. We have added a seperate oil pressure warning light that operates independently, because in our races (tarmac rally) we have time to respond. I think in drag races, you have either oil pressure or a blown motor in a heartbeat! You will probably benefit from the recording ability though.

  • what gauges are these? that sucks that the middle ones are angled the wrong way...where did you get right hand drive interior parts?

  • @widowmaker00 These are Autometer gauges, the Nexus range. Yeah, the middle cluster will be adjusted soon. I just had to see how they went before 'surgery'. I have to cut away more at the back. Using the original bracketry makes it easier. The right-hand drive parts are the left-hand dash cut up and stuck together. Its not neat just yet, but some more carbon fiber will bring it up well.

  • very cool

  • @tjon901 Thanks man. I was blown away. This was literally the first ime I saw them, and the first time I used the 'press button' start (notice no key in the ignition!).
