If you are referring to character actor John Quade who appeared in Clint Eastwood, Bonanza, as well as other films, then he was not murdered for his faith in Jesus, he died in his sleep from natural causes on August 9, 2009. This John Quade real name John William Saunders (A Christian) played in Every Which Way But Loose and Every Which Way You Can, High Plains Drifter, Roots, and other films (Bad Guy Films). If this is the John Quade you are talking about , I hope this is helpful.
