I just realized this scene is also in GitS SAC 2nd Gig in the First Episode, the setup is different but the end result of her shooting a guy through a tower window then falling into invisibility is the same.

Fuck this anime. IT's boring as hell. I slept halfway through when I watched it the first time.

ALL of the character eyes look like they are staring blankly wide eyed and have no emotions what-so-ever.

The stroryteller didn't put any effort in helping the audience to try to understand the story without watching it more than 5 times, and the dull and yawn inducing filler scenes makes a great prescription for insomnia.

The Stand Alone Complex franchise is a billion times better than this POS.

I dont know why masumune shirow stopped doing these cyberpunk stuff (appleseed and ghost in the shell), but they sure were nice back in the 90's

personally I think the comic book versions were better than the animations, I still remember how appleseed 1 caught my attention in the comicbook shop when I was looking for something else. Ever since that first issue, I was hooked, same for ghost in the shell.

This movie really needs to be redubbed. I love the cast of GitS, but this dub does not hold up very well after 13 years. Not to mention it's jarring now to not hear Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Motoko.

I do to. Brilliant stuff. But in an interview with the music designer for the movie he said he wasnt happy with it. Not sure why though. I think its great, perfectly fits the anime.

Its fantastic. But its very deep. If your not prepared to have to actually use your brain and think then you wont enjoy it.

Its not an anime designed for kids or idiots. Its very ... not intellectual but a word similar that I cant think of. Wheres my thesaurus ^_^

I have the first movie and both Stand Alone Complex series. All of which are fantastic. I've watched each atleast 7 times over the years.

@Lostfaith1980 yep, same i own all of it, 2 series and the 3 movies. it was amazing, my favorite kind of anime is the kind that you can sink your brain into, and not only just look at the pretty pictures, which this also has.

if u dont want to spend cash on the series u can see it on some streaming sites or just get it (if u know what i mean)
