  • That was a great video, but it was way to long to wait for the fall, but I love how you ride! You are really good!

  • your so gud!!!

  • thats an amazing example of great horsemanship congrats xxx :)

  • 6:29-6:31

I'm gonna make it! I'm gonna make I- OH GOD NO IT'S TOO HIGH D:

  • good riding just a suggestion, don't ride in a standing martingale (on that goes on the bridle and not the reins) the runnign martingale (on that does go on the reins) is designes for more jumping ^^ great riding though

  • ur form is gorgous!

  • ur a amazing rider !!!

  • feel like it was too long a little boring but your a great jumper maybe i think you should try and aim for the center of the jump that is why you had that near fall off you were going at an angle that was too hard for the horse to jump but beautiful horses

  • Argh. Been reading the comments and all I have to say is, this is what's wrong with the equestrian community these days. There is such an incredible amount of criticism (without much merit, might I add) and a complete lack of support. Leave the instruction to the instructor and STFU. This kid stayed with her horse quite well... and even if she didn't, who the HELL is asking for your input?? Haters. Gonna. Hate.

  • i wold off fell of if my horse refused to jump did u lose any marks what did u come ur ar so brill can u give some tips plz xxxx well done

  • u ARE SUCH A GOOD RIDER :D

  • :( tht really sucks when a horse spooks at a jump. You are a great jumper though.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow learn how to ride? Thats really rude! It may not have been the best riding but everyone has their weak points, bad days, and something they need to improve on! There were a lot of places that needed improvement but I think she did ok. She did lose her stirrup and handled it very well. She's not awful. At least she wasn't beating on her horse and hauling on his mouth or anything nasty like that!

  • WOW! You are good. Better than me. And I've been riding for about 5 or 6 years and I'm 14 now. So you are like ten steps ahead of me. Good job though.

  • this is awesome!! korinne! btw this is kaci

  • Amazing rider.. hope you were okay in your fall :)

  • you r such a good rider

  • I would give her some credit if she was only 14 in this video and most 14 year olds don't do the hunter derby! Like stop knocking the girl!

  • Thay was verry good if u had a bit more speed going to the log jump u would of naied it but other wise it was amazing

  • Learn how to ride.

  • @amandaindy This was like 4 years ago.

  • @amandaindy shes a good enof rider its not about posture in show jumping its about her time.

  • @amandaindy Haha Jealous ass hole, Just coz shes a amazing rider well for 14 Anyway

  • @amandaindy shes better than you...no offence

  • @amandaindy i completly agree this girl sucks... ps to who ever this is in the video myself and my horse are jumpers and even we look beter in the hunter ring then you... learn how to be quiet

  • @chantalwillow Learn how to be nice please. It's not a contest. It's learning how to ride.

  • @amandaindy thats really mean. js.

  • @amandaindy shutup

  • aww what place did u get? its too bad you falted twice on the same jump. i had a feeling on that one.

  • Your really good how old are you?(:

  • @Lydii27 Well here I was 14, I'm now 17.

  • you are a really good rider!!!

  • @toffeerulztmm16 Thanks.

  • Wow your an AMAZING rider! How long have you been riding?

  • @14TeachMeHowToJerk14 About 7 years. Thanks.

  • @14TeachMeHowToJerk14 But when this video was taken I had been riding for about 4 years.

  • i LOL'd at the jump in 5:24

  • @Diggubuh haha. I know. Really bad riding on my part.

  • How tall is Sinbad, he looks huge and my horse is 16hh...

  • @NaturalJumper1032 He was 17hh. :)

  • your horses are gorgeous! and you are overrall great rider :)

  • @Kerrbearx34 thanks. I'm sad I don't have Dickens or Sinbad anymore. :(

  • Sinbad is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cmarino8 He was amazing. :) thanks

  • sinbad seems like a nice horse. its unfortunate you weren't able to keep him moving forward and underneath himself a little more with a smooth and consestant rythem though. that way you would have found some nicer distances to your jumps. You also should have set back a little more exspecally when he was giving you some trouble over the fence with what looked like some barrels under it . You seem to be a very determined lttle rider though so stick with it.

  • @Adrenaline552 Yeah. Thanks for the advice. This was my second show with Sinbad, but the next year was a lot better. Half way through the year we were in champion for state in our division, but then sinbad got hurt really badly and we had to put him down. We still ended up getting third at the end of the show season overall in state in our division. I would love it if you would watch my more recent videos of my horse Indi and me and critique my riding. What I can improve on, etc.

  • Where is this? This arena looks familiar to me xD

  • @GerbilLuvr South jordan equestrian center.

  • you look so confident! :D

  • you look so fucking tiny up der!!

  • @Raachel244 I know I am really small, and even smaller back then when I was fourteen. I'm now seventeen and only like 5"2'. It didn't help that my horse was 17hh.

  • Hey! :) You are good rider at 1:20 . hehehe

  • how tall are you?

  • I'm luking 4 a mare called Rio, she is a grade A jumper. I think her sire is Brillant lad, not 100% sure bout that but I need 2 no how she is getting on as I hav her full sister in Ireland and I need to no her history!

    thanks!

  • nice riding :)

    subbed, sub back?

  • well ridden at that bit with no stirrup! =D

  • @Spheett haha. Yeah I do a lot of no stirrup work to strengthen my leg, so when this happened I was like glad I've been working on this. lol.

  • your really great at riding im kinda jelous haha

  • @IWannaBeFamous218 thanks. I kind of sucked. I would love it if you would look at my more recent videos of me riding my new horse Indi or newer ones of when I rode Sinbad and let me know what you think.

  • omg!!!! ur horses r soooo goergous!!!! (if i spelled that rite) lol

  • @theajs18 thanks.

  • for a horse off the track, he goes beautifully

he doesn't take those jumps like OMG jump yay!

    he takes his time

    good riding

  • @battousaiblade Yeah he really was amazing. He was even better the next year I rode him. You should go watch some videos of him that are more recent.

  • Did you just jump the last three jumps without a stirrup? If so, way to go, jumping without one is hard!

  • @HorseRidingAntEasy haha. Thanks I did not have a stirrup, but I do a lot of no stirrup work at home, and it obviously came in handy. lol

  • Can i have your horse??? lol jk! but they are both awesome!

  • @YawningDiamond haha. Unfortunately I don't have either of them anymore. I had to sell Dickens (the chestnut.), and in september 2009 we had to put sinbad down. I now have a horse named Indi.

  • poor horse he was spooked cuz of the jump or he was stobborn ;\

  • @mdubbs1000 Yeah. This is actually the only time he ever stopped for me, ever. It was my fault also. I didn't give him a chance to see it coming.

  • wow i would love to have sinbad he has such a smooth canter and he soars over the jump he looks like hes flying

  • @keira1999 You have no idea. I have jumped a lot of horses, but his jump was the most amazing thing ever, and his canter. His trot on the other hand was awful. lol

  • lucky them falling off!

yes yes i know but i NEVER fall off so im kinda wishing i would

  • your a good rider though!! :)

  • well done horse riding is NOT as easy as it looks !!

  • you are a excellent rider! both of the horses have a beautiful canter. every rider has their share of falls and falling off only does make you a better rider. hope you do very well on indi =))

  • oh lol. well welldone anyway and if u dont mind me asking, what breed is ur new horse indi? rocket is a gelding altho im not to sure wot breed he is. thanx

  • @myponyrocket Indi is a Thoroughbred. He used to be a race horse. His sire won A Kentucky Derby

  • Wow ur good, but i kinda doubt those jumps were 2'9

  • @ILoveWhipper They are 2"9', but 2"9' is really small so I don't know why they wouldn't look like they are.

  • Both horses look beautiful! Brilliant riding btw! every rider has a fall. I've fell off my horse rocket bout 17 times lol! he's a tough one to ride! good luck for your riding future and keep up the good work! :)

  • @myponyrocket haha. yeah, this is like three years ago. The chestnut was sold about a year ago to a little xbar girl. SO cute. The bay we had to put down in September. :'(. I have an in memory vid of him and now I've got a new horse, named Indi. I have some vids up of him.

  • People who say "funny how you cant ride" its funny for them, obviously you can ride or you wouldnt be able to do any of this, ha

i thought you looked really good

  • hey this is the arena in south jordan lol i ride there a ton, do you live in utah??

  • GREAT it ended better than it started but good job

  • Great riding. Your amazing. I luv your horses too. Keep up the hard work. You have skills.

  • @XHorseDreams4everX Thanks. This was about two years ago. You can check out my more recent videos on my account, but I very sadly don't have either of these horses anymore. My dad lost his job and we had to sell Dickens, the chestnut. Then in Setember Sinbad, the bay, hurt his leg very badly and had to be laid to rest. His memorial vid is on my account.

  • @orlndblmsug well if you've ever cometed in an ACTUAL show than you know it's kind of hard to get first everytime, unless of course you have easy auto 100,000 dollar horses. Also before you criticize watch RECENT videos of how they ride. Oh and I've gotten many first ribbons. In face I was chamion in my division until my horse had to be ut down in the middle of the show season and I STILL got 4th.

  • @vxRussianRoulettexv ok, hm before you criticize someone go watch the recent video's of them riding. This was over a year ago. This was my first show with the bay, who i recently had to ut down. Oh and my dad might send his money to have me ride, but I work at the barn, giving lessons everyday now to contribute to the ayment. I'm sure YOU have a 100,000 automatic easy horse that YOUR dad bought, but some of us actually work hard.

  • your horse seem to canter very softly :3

  • @Remontify He was amazing. I miss him so much.

  • AMAZING!! The stillest hands i've ever seen in a canter! And AMAZING job with the stride control! Your an amazing rider!

  • @LuckyZoneOne2 Thanks, but they really aren't that great. It's one of the things I've been working on with my new horse, Indi. Rest in eace Sinbad.

  • I think you ridden really well :') You're horse has a smooth canter :'')

  • @Shybright11 Thanks. His canter was a DREAM, but his trot was the worst. He was the most amazing horse in the world. Rest in eace.

  • good job!

  • @jumpingroxmysox thanks

  • WOW! You did great when your foot wasnt even in the stirrup!! If I was in that position I wouldve died! I have a Standardbred with a horribel canter!!! Great JOB!

    ~Kelsey

  • @horseluvr06 Thanks.

  • great job!!!! just one thing, try to keep your hands a little lower when ur jumping cuz he can feel that and it pushes his hind legs higher! But great job!!!!!! ur a very talented rider!:)

  • @13PurplePrecious13 Thanks. This was my first show with the bay, but I had to ut him down in Setember.

  • no ofense i love horses but is ur keyboard able to do a p cuz u said ut in stead of put and eace instead of peace

  • @kissisdabstbndevr yeah. Sorry about that I kinda of silled coke on it a coule of days ago. It sucks.

  • Thank u! I get so sick of people trying to critique when they don't even know the situation.

  • omg i wish my horse was that calm when jumping. great job!

  • on the barrel jump where the horse refuses its your falt you put ur hands back actually telling it to stop

  • Ok. First this was my first show leasing this horse. Go watch more recent videos of us. Second don't tell me how to ride him, because I KNOW I did this wrong and he was the most amazing horse in the world and I had to put him down a little over a month ago, so I honestly don't care about old mistakes and would much rather remember all my good times with him.

  • don't listen to these kinds of people. they're just jealous or think they know everything.

  • i'm sure you've done it to. they're not the only ones who have done it. Every rider makes a dumb mistake at some point. I know i have

  • the first horse is gorgeous

  • thanks. He badly injured his leg about a month and a half ago and had to be put down.

  • beautiful horse("

one thing i may want to suggest is dont over think his stride count, he has shortish copy like canter strides, just dont count them bigger then they are, could be the reason for bad take off times on a few jumps other then that, it was beautiful

  • which horse? The bay or the chestnut. If you're talking bout the bay I sold him a couple of months ago. If you're talking about the bay we had to put him down about two weeks ago because his coffin bone began to come through his hoove. Either way don't have to worry bout the striding with either of them anymore.

  • you had to sell sinbad i'm so sorry you two looked great

  • i mean i had to sell the chestnut and put down the bay.

  • gosh that is a beautiful horse. whats his name?

  • The chestnut is Dickens and the bay was Sinbad.

  • yeah im want to show there isnt it bucks county

  • no. I don't think so.

  • Was it an affiliated show or unaffiliated?

  • wow very nice! Just, if you get the chestnut to round up a bit, it would look even better! he got round a bit at 3:50 in the closing circle. But otherwise, really great!

  • um at the closing circle 3:50 that's the bay and he has no problem rounding up. Yes. The chestnut does. Sadly I don't own the chestnut anymore. Thanks though!

  • ok. Ur welcome :-)

  • you just need to polish a few things up but other then that.. you guys looked good.

  • yeah these clips are from over a year ago. If you want to see how Sinbad and me do now (the bay) you can go watch some of my newer vids. I'm about to post a video of my most recent show where we got reserve champion.

  • 1:31 was a really bad approach to the jump. You should have come wider off the refusal to give a straight line to the center of the jump. Well done for staying on through the stirrup lossage!

  • haha. I know. I still get made fun of at the barn for that approach. lol. Thanks

  • When was the show? And where? If you don't mind me asking.

  • the one where the approach was really bad was out The South Jordan Equestrian Center about a year ago.

  • In the first you wer egoing great till the barrel! He is an amazing jumper!

  • Thanks.

  • hey!

i think your riding is great. except for a couple of occations, all your distances were good and your position over the jumps is very safe. also, the horse are very cute :)

for how long do you ride??

  • Thanks. This was only about a month after i started riding the bay horse. To see more recent videos of my riding go see Sinbad and My first day showing. It think that the name. something like that. I've been riding consistently for about 4 years.

  • No the name of our recent vid is Mine and Sinbads first day at the Early Show and His Buck.

  • Don't worry about me cause if ur going around trying to find things u don't want to watch u obviously have no life. U r a much bigger waste then this video.

  • Then Why watch the first 1 min if the 7 min was a wast??

  • you have great heels and leg position!!!!!

  • thanks, but they swing too far back when i go over jumps.

  • What kind of show jacket is that?

  • It's called a shag belly. It's used in special classic, medal, derby, etc. classes.

  • Sinbad has got a lovely jump!!! and he is beautiful!!!

  • thanks!

  • do you ride in the uhja? and i show there every summer all the time and these jumps look familiar from last years Medal finals!!

  • yeah i do! thats so cool. My horses show name is South Pacific and I show in mods and 14-17 eq. Who do u ride?

  • cool i ride in 2'6 and i ride poptart

  • I love pop tart!

  • on both horses the reins were to long. try and fix that in future

  • It's hard with the bay because he has the longest neck in the world and my hands just slip down as we go. haha. I think I'm doing better though. To see a more recent video of us go to my video Mine and sinbads first day at the Early Show. It's from about two weeks ago.

  • Your an excellent rider!

    Great job!

I ride a pony named speckles and he loves to jump!

i have some pictures on a video.

    thepinksisters2015

    (bella horseriding)

  • after you cleared those barrels your round was much better. it must of given you and your horse confidence. you both really went for it after that and had perfect strides and speed well done

  • your horses gate looks really hard to ride, he is pretty tall how high is he!!

  • His trot is the worst bounciest thing I have ever ridden, but his canter is the smoothest thing in the world. I love it, but when he gets fast then it's more difficult to sit. Usually he's a dream to canter, and many people say his canter is their favorite. He is pretty tall. He's about 17 hh, and I'm only like 5 foot. HAHA! I always end up riding horses that are way too big for me. I've never even continually ridden a pony. Even when I was like nine. My first horse was about16 hh. I was only 12

  • what is the difference between jumpers, equitation, hunters and that stuff?? I event in UK so none of that really makes much sense!!!

  • hunters is whats in this video. Slow calm collected fences. You try to look smooth while jumping over natural fences. Jumpers is like the jumping round in eventing. Trying to get the optimum time without jumping faults. Equitation is a class that they set up with a little bit harder turns and challenges. You have to do these, but it's judged on the rider. How well they work with their horse. Their position, etc.

  • kk

for hunters, is it judged on style as well?? I think your hunters is probs like our working hunter showing stuff. Jumpers is just like show jumping and equitation is ...erm... dunno we dont really have anythink like this, its kinda like showing again, but also like best rider and stuff.

  • you look amazing :] and your horses are really nice..

my horse ruuuns through hunter courses so we never place well in the jumping :p that's why we do jumpers now lol!

thanks for the vid response!! :D

  • thanks. My horse runs through the hunter courses too. That's our biggest problem. I have to work super hard to control him.

  • yup I watched your video and read a few comments lol sounds like we've got that in common :p

  • a ring or c ring??

  • a ring

  • sinbad is soo good 4 u! except 4 the run outs and he is calm and doesnt spazz out after the jump!! ur leg is good

  • i watched your video and i show hunter too and from watching your first video for the hunter for your refusals the first time he refused and u made him circle and take it again you didnt set him up for the jump correctly but when u asked him to take the same jump again and as you were finishing your coarse you horse satrted speeding up so his pace went from even to a little rushed but beside that i think you did a good job on the rest of the coarse =)

  • yeah i know/ This horse was just kind of a catch ride, and i know i screewed my turn. I don't know what i wus thinking. When stops or bad things happen. I don't really think. I just kind of do. I know that he got speedy. Thats one of our biggest problems with him is that he builds through the course. We have been working on it though since we decided to lease him.

  • hey i was wondering this

i live in the UK and we don't realy have 'hunters'

is it just lke a jumping class but with sowing beforehand or something or do you get marked on how you ride while youre jumping?

id understand things a lot better if someone told me :)

  • In the US a hunter course usually has very natural looking fences and the horse gets judged on its form over the fence and its movement. The start circle is also a way to show off your horses movement before the course begins. Knocked rails and back distances to jumps are marked...basically you want to make your course look as smooth as possible

  • so like equitation?

  • not really. We have seperate divisions for equitation. In equitation we have more difficult turns, and less natural looking jumps. Equitation is judged on the rider, and how well the rider works with the horse. In hunters it's judged on how gracefull everything looks, and even.

  • exactly

  • can i use this for a horse falls video?

  • yeah sur, butt let me know when it;s done so i can see it. and give me credit for it.

  • i was going to do it...but decided not to...sorry :/

  • Your a good rider

  • That darn right lead lol!! LOVE the white socks on the bay!!!!

  • Thanks. His name is Sinbad. I had only been training with him for about two weeks, but we did so well and i liked him so much that we decided to lease him.

  • My friend is now leasing the chestnut, and Sinbad is getting his leads. I will post video's of our shows when the season starts again.

  • your a great rider.. beautiful horse!

  • yea she is a good rider !

    but you not!

    :p

    bye forevsss:D

  • why do you feel the need to keep talking to me? just drop it theres nothing to talk about leave me alone for the last time

  • and you cant assume im not a good rider!!! im 17 and i got 3rd in the maclay horse show last year!! dont say im a bad rider!! youve never seen me ride

  • you got third in the maclay?? thats awesome!!! put some videos of your riding up !
