  • I love this film a lot . sallu rocks .

  • heard this song after a long time....too good!!!!!!!!

  • i love this songs but way i don noo

  • I love this song and the movie, why did it have to be copied :(

  • i always wonder...who r these dancers??

  • kya baat hai yaar is film ki what a good time of indian cenema ab kha asi picture banti hai .....aman

  • yeh music original se jyada faadu h..everyone loves it..

  • love this version of the song

  • Though this song was a copy of STEAVIE WONDER's song, yet its wonderful.. A classic song of a classic movie..

  • what a song !! great memories...

  • People, I'm a big fan of originality and of Stevie Wonder too. Most plagiarized songs suck big time, because they're copied by losers who couldn't come up with anything original. However, there are exceptions. This is one. No need to compare it with Stevie's original. Apples and Oranges. But this song is cult, despite the copied tune. Another example is Pritam's Ya Ali. In that case however, Pritam's version sounds much better than the original Arabic version. If u must copy, at least add value.

  • omg, how can people hate this? man, they must suck BIG time!! This is my most favorite movie, its number 1 on my list..no movie can top this one!

  • Sp Bala And Lata Are Make Magic Song's : Direct Touched Heart : Awesome

  • copied from a legendary one...bollywood ka kuch nhi ho sakta....

  • this music is copied from stevie wonders "i just called to say i love you".

    watch?v=ezD9fndbeyw

  • @ashishpantstu o rly

  • You touch my heart

    In your own style

    The simple things you’ve done

Brings joy to my aching heart

  • OMG I LOVEE THIS SONG :D SOO ROMANTIC!! <3<3

  • omg i loveee this song n this movie!! <3

  • such a beautiful and soulful song....touches my heart everytime i listen to it...

  • Love this song... and superb lyrics!

  • Reminds me of being a kid and watching this avidly.....kabootar ja ja ja.........

  • omg, i want to have filmy love story! <3

  • love this song...

  • This probably only one movie that has all the copied songs in entire movie, and still sounds amazingly melodious.

  • Ramantic song

  • I don't think Salman or Bhagyashree are the dancers in this clip.. Whoever the unknowns are, given when this movie was made, the dance is an excellent choreograph....

  • @sdcorpse Do anybody know who are the dancers?

  • I love listening to good songs translated into different languages. Every language has its own beauty.

  • one of the best hindi love songs ever :)

  • SP Balasubramanyam became immortal in Hindi film music with this song. The tune has a charm whether it is steve wonder or this version. I like both

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE DIS SONG...

  • itz better than the original version of steve ..this song got a fell ...

  • This version is better.

  • It's plain stupid to compare Stevie Wonder and this version. Both are legendary. In all fairness to Stevie Wonder, it was him who found this song. If it weren't for him, would this song have existed? Just imagine you're a singer, another singer uses your music and claims to be better, how'd that make you feel? I love both versions.

  • @SDPaldora1 you are such a jerk. Are you aware of anything called 'copyrights' ?

  • I love this song and the singers have done perfectly great job.For me this song would always belong to the singers Lata Mangeshkar; S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and to steve wonder.I am totally in love with this song and the choreography.lata ji and s.p. balasubramaniam ROCKS.THEY SANG IT FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.But the music is also awesome[for which all credit goes to ''STEVE WONDER'''

  • Well people should care if a song is copied or not otherwise the musician should not get credit for his copied stuff. If the musician was so hell bent on using the tune of steve wonder for inspiration then he should have given the credit to steve wonder and should have taken his permission and should have given him the ''ROYALTY'' to use his music. There is absolutely no problem with this hindi song but problem is with the musician who stole someone else's hard work

  • This is my favorite Indian song.....I wanted to set as my profile video, but sometimes there the shitty advert before it.

  • Why do we tend to seek the inspiration 'sought' by music directors for some fabulous songs instead of simply enjoying them???

  • u know what, i dont care if songs are copied... it doesnt matter. a good tune can be repackaged in many ways to reach a target audience.. its just music at the end of the day and a good melody. thats all i care..

  • I love this song!!

  • who is the singer?

  • @tatyo100 SPB

  • Stevie wonder did justice to his song....Maine pyar kiya is good too & The choreograph is nice too....Lovely song but still it is a copied 1. It is stupid to give all the credit to the music composer of Maine Pyar kiya becoz no stevie wonder no Maine pyar Kiya

  • wow lovely

  • I'd rather not listen to the English versions at all becaus the words don't flow smoothly and I don't find them sweet at all because of that. It feels like the English ones are copied lol but hats off to the original for the music and tune and to Indian composers for making it even better.

  • I ain't Indian I'm paki so it's common for us to follow these movies more than Indian do because they are made in our languages. I think Indian versions always turn out better the tune goes with the words rathe than original English words where words are not making the tune flow smoothly.

  • awasome, heart touching. love u swtheart

  • i just called to say i love you is stevies version and i so love the originality but i love this as well.Sometimes one persons version would sound better than another

  • I don't know why but i just love this song...........

  • this song is simply copy of a good song nothing else

  • Most of the Indians do this dude...there is no originality in Indian Bollywood music...and I am one of several embarrassed Indians to admit this fact.

  • oh ok, just got that i just called to say i love you is the original version, stevie's version is equally beautiful but hindi is just hindi

    love both balubars... and stevie

  • @kArEeNa889 what is the name of stevie's version??

  • @Co0O0oL11

i just called to say I love you

  • @kArEeNa889 thanks :)

  • @Co0O0oL11 Stevie Wonder - I just called to say Ilove you! live Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute (1988) just the tune

  • @Co0O0oL11 Stevie Wonder - I just called to say Ilove you!

  • can someone tell me the name of stevies version? Stevie is a genius but English the language itself aint that deep so the hindi version just thugs on every string there is

  • That's y they called creators indian bullshit copy cats

  • nice song

  • great song

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my favourite movie.love this

  • OH MY GOD YAAR...MY ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIME FVRT ROMNTIC SONG........LUV U SALMAN...

  • Enough of the debates man, bother versions were good. Stevie Wonder is just a legend and this version is just as nice. End Of Story! Please lol.

  • love the film :) begining till end

  • best love song for lovers I luv

  • Still the girl in this song is a mystery. Anybody found out who she is?

  • @Vaibik She is Bhagyashree, acted in 3-4 hindi films with her husband after sucess of this movie but fails, more search Google for her.

  • i think steve don't know the difference between Soul and Body , Simply this version is great !

  • LOVED THIS SONG

  • The indian version IS beautiful....but all indian versions of western songs tend to be beautiful....It nevertheless does not justify plagiarism....

I onced remembered listening to a beautiful indian patriotic song to be later left aghast to learn that it was the Israeli national anthem....Making an indian patriotic song by copying the national anthem of another country is sheer stupidity.....

  • So soft song of old moments........... Great

  • @tomyunggung well.... that's a sudden attack but still.. Jimmy Jimmy--- and a major Black eyed peas hit- Don't phunk with my heart were copied........ Now don't phunk with my brains mister..

  • @boysgotolder

    LOL

  • Thank you

  • sweetheart, to royaltetly, everyone is entitiled to their goddamn opinion. Chill, this song sounds a lot better and because it's in hindi, it's more relatable to all the indians so stop freaking out.

  • @GagaHoneyB2050 another gr8 thing about the song is that, salman khan and bhagishiri are playing it

  • lovely song

  • Stevie wonder's tribute to Dr Nelson Mandela was undoubtedly good, this one doesn't sound bad either.

  • I believe that this song is amazing. Lifts the whole day, you can into the video.

  • really very nice song :)

  • @gurmon

man thats funny LOL so they must have used up all the budget for this one scene aye!! what sad case man i think they were on a LOW BUDGET LOL

  • what a shit film

  • @gurmon

bro i cant help but laugh at what u said LOL

  • @82shahin

Thanks bud, Just stating the truth....there is the scene when they are dancing and pretending to have orgasms, and they are surrounding by RED APPLES...what the fuck is all that about...

I think they must have used all the budget on the smoke machine in the opening song....

  • @82shahin u FREAK! r u on crack or sumet? ur not right in the head man n AS IF id let u cum newer NEAR me! ugh u make me SICK you PATHETIC WASTE OF SPACE!

  • what pisses me off is that they borrow from the WEST so much its hard to tell if U are watching a cheap remake of a Hollywood film thats how BAD it has become mabe they should learn from the past and stick to their own souces instead of trying to follow the west and SHOW something ORIGINAL for once

  • @82shahin what pisses me off is ppl like u! shut ur face n enjoy the beauty of the recreation of a top song! this one is equally as beautiful and the sexy dancing tops it off! i LOVE this tune so much i wish it had another verse in it OK :D ps I LOVE SALMAN xxx

  • but nowadays this type of song is all most unheard of in the Bollywood cinema today coz now its all about over hyped stories to over gloumarised settings and its all about dancing in the clubs and getting your kit off thats what Bollywood has come down to today what a sad condition they have to come to PITY

  • With this movie, I feel like I have been cheated. All the songs have been shamelessly copied (borrowed) from western music. At the, I thought this is one if the best original music.

  • @zman2008icon

brother dont be fooled even this one has been copied from Stevie Wonder song'' i just called to say i love U'' yes thats right but even though it has been borrowed but still it is a enjoyable even after 20 years

  • @zman2008icon they did a gud job ok plus i still listen to AND PREFER these versions :D x

  • Girl in the video is farah khan...

  • @lalitkumarish how do u know?

  • this video was uploaded on valentines day...perfect

  • actually, we usually celebrate valentine's day on feb 14...

  • "Rajshri" used to picturise the title tracks so beautifully, that I don't see these days anymore. They had a unique style.

I was in 5th class, when we went to see this movie in cinema. I think I missed the tile track then.. ;) lol.

  • i duno abt the girl, but im sure the guys salman....maybe its cuz of the girl that they dunt show the faces here

  • No. even the guy is not Salman. look carefully at 2:55-2:56. neither his face nor his physique

  • i dunt noe if its only my computer, but the last bits all dark, well the whole video is, u cant see their faces, SPECIALLY not at that part u mentioned

  • That is how the whole song has been picturized to make only their sillouettes visible. Black is the theme.

However, at 2:55 is the only time that you could see slightly the front face of the actor and that is obviously not Salman neither is the woman Bhagyashree.

  • wasagoo, sorry I do not know how to insert the time. But you could manually move the slider to 2:55 to see.

  • the one time a cover pisses on the original

    love the song

    love the film

  • Wow, I love this song so much. I can listen to it over & over & over again :-D

  • you dont know michel jakson and madona .......

  • but who are these people in the song? i m sure its not salman and bhagyashree

  • @ravicshah7

it's definatly salmon coz the guy looks pretty beefy lol

  • that is called a true romantic song...

  • everytime I listen to this song ...it takes me down d memory lane ... when I met my love ....

    simply LOVE the song ...

  • Hamraj antonio

    really appreciated these video clips.

    Regards from

    Venezuela

  • Viva!

  • sheng thz i love dis song

  • evergreen song

  • I think this version of the song pisses, shits and wipes the floor with stevie wonders original..sorry stevie wonder fans but I absolutely LOVE this song

  • I have to agree. The English version was good but this one just makes you go Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • Sp bal. r rocking voice

  • Till date i have not seen such an psychologically mind pulling movie in my life. Yet Hindi is not my native language.

This song has never tired me.

whenever, i listen to it, it seems new to me.

    That is India.

  • i like salmaan in this movie! used to dream about him.. lolzzz

agree w/ vikramtheone.. best voice for salmaan!

such a magnificent song! although it's copied from stevie wonder's "I just called to say i love you", I still have strong feelings for this song.. cause I heard this one first when i was a kid! :P

  • Steve Wonder should only wonder how his song is NOT as good as this one....... any day any time.....

    Aate Jaate..... SPB rocks.....

    Best voice for Salman ever

  • pls can some one tell me which one orginal i have no idea thanks!

  • its all abt passion...

"i just called ..." is sweet n cute n lovely

    THIS is SEXY

  • You are saying better than orginal as you are indian, If you are not indian you may not feel passion

  • Better than the original by a mile. Lyric are just amazing.

  • Stevie wonder did it, Indians perfected it

Stevie wonders version doesn't have this passion

    star star star star star

  • @boysgotolder Yeah, I'd totally have to disagree with you. This is terrible. No passion, just lip synching.

  • Hi

Heard this song after so long. Mom bunked my PTA to take me to watch this movie. Still remember the thrill I got... I was 5yrs old then.

Brings back memories! Hate the fact that it a total copy... but like the lyrics!

Also, most of the hit songs of the movie are a copy anyway!!!

  • To all those people (seriously) suggesting that this song is better than Mr. Stevie Wonder's homage to Mr. Nelson Mandela... WOW! Simply WOW!

I mean, I'm east Indian, I get that the lyrics tug at our heartstrings and all that jazz, but this song is a BLATANT copy, the music and beat is ENTIRELY lifted from Stevie Wonder. Give the man some credit... The music director for this film doesn't possess half the talent to write this song...

  • @royaltetley suck it up Nancy. I like the Stevie Wonder version but think this is better.

Its personal prefference. Every one has a right to like what they want without being jumped on.

  • @royaltetley : The movie duly acknowledged that couple of songs are remake of the songs mentioned.

  • @royaltetley ..I dont think it is fair to not give credit to Stevie Wonder, but this version has its own charm dude.No matter if i is lifted or a blatant copy..Listen to the violin and all those orthestra and lata's voice..This song makes memory of our past so beautiful..so yes its a good song

  • or may be compliment him for making his average song sound better !!!

  • I think every1 knows its a copy but what a copy man....

awesome lyrics, well sung & the video is great too. Love this song

  • copied from i just called to say i love you

  • .. yeh everyone knows that.. but i guess the copy is much much better than the original...

  • Nice song..first heard it when i was 9 yrs old n it was happened 2 b the first music cassettes purchased by me.

  • Okay unfortunately they straight up copied the beat from Stevie... which is sad but not surprising consdering how much bolly copies holly... but this is one of the RARE FEW bollywood musical clips that I actually like...... most are simply lame or worse.

Loved this song since I was a kid... big up :)

  • i love this song more n more as i listen to it!!!

  • Yeah you're right

  • lovely song, even though its copied from English version

  • with no angle the guy looks like REshad Warsi...

  • This song is copy of Stevie Wonder's song "I just called to say I love you" which released in 1984. anyways but I love both songs but I want to know that did they permited to use/copy the tune???

  • fuck u raam laxman,.. music composr of d movie,..

  • iss male dancer arshad warsi.......??/////

  • lol no

  • lolzz... can't stop laughin.. seriously? did you really think so? he's not arshad or ashrad or whatever warsi.. lol :P
