1chipmonklover you need 8 stars then you go to the rec room and there is a door that says 8 on it. you can unlock mario that way. Not the cap

To Find Switch:Need 14 Stars Then In Palace There Will Be A Light.Stand on Sun And Press "X" And Press The Thing To Move Backwards and do it till u disapear & Unlock Switch Ive did it.

I dont understand. I go to that cannon excactly like you but when i come up there the box with the flying cap is transparent and when i jump i just jump through it

Let me tell you why this is.

When you have 10 stars, go to the main hall in Peach's castle. There should be a ray of light in the middle of the floor. Look into that light and you will be transported to "wing cap tower". In the middle of the tower there is a big red button, stamp on it and all the red boxes in all levels will have wing caps.

You need 10 stars from the first couple of courses to unlock the wing cap course. If you can't get 10 stars from the first 4 courses, I can't help you with that.

to get in the wings all u have 2 do is stand in front of the sun structure in the middle of the castle (must have 11star or above) then simply chnge the camera view to mario..then look up( to look up simply press (homE+ downarrow) if u dnt knw the home button ur retarted!! its in the middle of the num pad and the key pads and above the arrow keys!!

Oh and to get Mario look for a red hat on the ground or an enemy =) ----> Metaknigthbg2. Lol, when you get so far in the game with 8 stars you can enter Princess peaces room bla bla bla, then u can use Mario with or without the hat whenever u want at the beginning of each level

to get the ? blocks unlocked my friend when u have a certain amount of stars the ceiling for mario should light up in the lobby, when that happens use your vision to look up in the ceiling's light, you'll be taken to another place to get a hat.
