  • I dident know they could make jar jar worse...

  • next we'll have darth vader getting a voice over by Gilbert Gottfried.

  • this is fake right??

  • These changes are seriously becoming crazier. I mean, I first really thought JJB's voice and Vader's NO were just fan-made. Adywan for the win!!

  • In a way, I do sorta miss the original Jar Jar's broken Engrish :(

  • Lucas should re-do the whole movie, not just a silly voice.

  • LOL

  • If his voice should ever be replaced, it should be by Joe Pesci a la Goodfellas. Now THAT would be an improvement.

  • George Lucas can mess with Phantom Menace all he wants.

    Leave episisodes 2-6 alone!

  • @MrSamas35 episode 2 is worse than episode 1

  • @daneparsonslf bullcrap. episode 1 is easily the weakest of the series. The final battle jumped back and forth to different characters far too often, the plot was cluttered with far too much politics, not many fight scenes etc. The others followed a much simpler straight forward telling. If George Lucas had have made the first Star Wars release episode 1 instead of Episode 4, the saga would have flopped.

  • This is not how I want to remember Jar Jar. His original voice was classic and funny.

  • Would you say this voice is less...jarring?

  • This had better be fake e.e LOL

  • This is actually pretty good... Reminds me of Baby Herman from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."

  • Grass grows, birds fly, sun shines and brother. Meesa hurts people!

  • This shit is fuckin' hilarious!!

  • BROOKLYN RAGE

  • No voice I can imagine could be worse than the original jar jar, even this is better

  • jar jar sounds like the scout from team fortress 2 lol boink

  • Joey?

  • BROOKLYN RAGE!!!

  • Noooo... no way! that is not going to be Jar Jars voice! He sounds like Mater from the Pixar movie Cars.!

  • @2011LEGOFAN him and mater are the same person da da daaaaaaa

  • is this voice real!!!????

  • oh my! what's happened to jar jar's voice!!??

  • Jeez, not bad at all!

  • Oh wow! Thats what he said.. I never knew.. I couldn't understand a word he said, even after watching it a few times! :P

I like this version way better. hehe

  • I like JJ as a pathological lier with a new york accent.

  • misa gonna whack you!!

  • I'd hate him less if this were actually his voice.

  • I hope this is fake.

  • me too... :-(

  • This was pretty successful. Nicely done.

  • well on good thing on the Blu-ray version…

  • That is unbelievable annoying, the old voice was far better! Sounds like some dodgy Chicago mafia guy

  • What the hell, good thing i have the classics and not the new one with changes. The annoying, wierd voice, is what makes Jar-Jar binks himself. With blu-ray he sounds like hes in a mafia or something.

  • i would actually prefer this over the real thing haha

  • new york-ish?

  • No way.

  • 0:41

Is it just me, or does it sound like his new name is Zsa Zsa Binks?

  • I can imagine it now: "Hey, you, wise guy, you F***ing shooting yo blasters at me? Huh? You, shooting, at me? You gabbagoo little F***. Fagettaboutit. Yer done. Fire at me one more time, and i'm gonna take my flipper looking foot and shove it up your *** ya rat." <--- If Jar Jar was muscle for The Sopranos.

  • Gilbert Godfrey?

I actually liked Jar Jar and his voice, at least over this one. One in a million fans I guess.

  • Is this real???????

  • When I clicked on this I was really hoping it was going to be Bruce from Family Guy

  • sounds like an annoying black guy

  • 122 dislikes? People don't have humor.

  • George is good at what he does, but, like Picasso, and Stephen King, got senioritis. You know where, people pump you up so big cause of early greatness, that you start selling your turds for profit.

  • wtf, is this real??

  • less annoying? it sounds like someone from brooklyn! how is that less annoying?

  • I just wanted him to say "Badda-bing"... but he didn't.

  • lmao its amazing how a different accent can change someone into a douchebag

  • WIth what you have to work with it's not half bad. I'll take it over the high pitched wailing...they could have at least had a special feature on the disc to "Mute Jar Jar"

  • It is cross between Scooby n Scrappy Doo with a voice like a 1920s NYC gangster spiv...surely this is an overdubbed fake.

  • GOD FUCKING DAMN IT! LEAVE THE FILM ALONE, LUCAS! YOU HAVE THE UNCANNY ABILITY TO CREATE AN AMAZING SAGA, THEN FUCK IT UP LATER!

  • fucks sake lucas u stupid bastard

  • Ok? I don't know if this a change for the better.

    I'm officially confused.

  • @realar haha

  • I can't stand this; Jarjar was fine the way he was. This is crap.

  • Even if it's a joke it's still better!

  • I'm assuming this is a joke

  • so basically Jar-jar sounds like a stereotypical Yankees fan?

  • at 1:05 he sounded like garfield

  • WHAT IS THIS NEW JERSEY SHIT

  • Is this even real?? Some of the dialogue doesn't make any sense... unless that's the point. Which would make Jar Jar even stupider than before.

  • sounds like bugs bunny, he only needs to say "heyy doc!"

  • Comment removed

  • He sounds like the little blue robot from Transformers. Just get him to hump Megan Fox's leg.

  • @RickLowerboy84 Lol thats Tom Kenny

  • Now he sounds like the small dog from 2 stupid dogs, except doped up.

  • MEssa think only ONE change was made to the Booray versions. Vader saying "Noo, Nooooo" when Sidious was Force Lightning Skywalker.

  • And yet, Jar Jar still manages to piss me off.

  • This is a new change for that reason I don't think it's real

  • I like that you've not just changed the voice but also the dialogue. This version of Jar Jar could've been quite enjoyable...

  • MISSA think creator of web video Trecky

  • missa think this is bom bad crazzy

  • WHAT THE FUCK WAS WRONG WITH THE OLD ONE?

  • WOW, they got Joe Pesci to do Jar-Jar's voice!?

  • lol funny and no of course it isnt real

  • Is this real???

  • omg, they made him worse!

  • a helluva improvement!!

  • Sound like Buggs Bunny, why does GL double guess himself, JAR JAR waz kind of annoying but that was the whole point a dumb ass that was manipulated by palpatine but ended of being used by the force cuz he was real just a nice guy! Just like Han solo same thing! oh well see how the new voice goes.

  • So Jar-Jar is from New York?....wtf

  • @AutonomyJuan At least it doesn't sound as racist.

  • This would have been much better and actually funny.

George Lucas is not a good director. He may have lucked out with "American Graffiti" and "Star Wars: A New Hope", but he should have let other directors take the job for the prequel series. Just like he did for "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".

  • @TheOneartist No, I say the biggest thing he should stop doing is writing the damn movies. His direction is decent. A lot of the fights are fast-paced, great visual shots of the planets and pacing is decent. It's hard to get good acting done from a CG screen. It was an adequate job.

The biggest problem was the horrible writing, story and dialogue. This was also present in the original trilogy that is overlooked due to nostalgia. "She has lost the will to live" WTF is that?

  • @Canadarm123 I think the original trilogy had brilliant acting for the most part. Yeah a big reason the prequels sucked, though, is that he wrote the screenplays, too.

He didn't even write the screenplay for Empire Strikes Back, and that one's considered the best one. Return of the Jedi could have used some work admittedly, but it's still more rewarding than watching the prequels.

  • @TheOneartist Agree... The one thing that makes people soooo mad about Return of the Jedi are things Lucas wanted such as the ewoks, etc.

He wanted kids to like the movies, to buy the toys, to show a small group of tribal could bring down an imperial galactic power with rocks etc. It's just ridiculous, with their dancing scene etc. Imagine someone like a Christoper Nolan or Ridley Scott directing the originals and you would have had a much better sci-fi film with great acting.

  • @Canadarm123 The Ewoks are cute, but the whole them bringing down the empire thing is ridiculous, agreed. It pales in comparison with the crap the prequel trilogy has, though.

I can live with Jedi the way it is, as long as it doesn't have the changes Lucas later did.

  • @TheOneartist Same. The one thing I hate the most out of ALL the films, is that ridiculous CGI singer he added to Jabba's palace. Nothing makes me want to put a bullet in my head more than when that scene comes up.

  • @Canadarm123 Ah dude, I'm definitely with you on that one. It's so incredibly ridiculous, and the CGI is so bad.

Luckily, I downloaded fan-remastered DVD's of the theatrical cuts from a torrent site. The quality is amazing.

  • @TheOneartist you think hes a bad director! thats the stupidiest thing i have ever... errr... read

  • @shanoncg Notice that most of the movies he has worked on he was an executive producer, not a director.

He directed the prequel trilogy, and he also did the changes in the original trilogy. That's proof right there that he's not cut out for directing films. He was lucky with the first Star Wars because he spent an incredibly long time working on that, but he didn't direct "The Empire Strikes Back" or "Return of the Jedi".

  • @TheOneartist proof thats no proof, you cant just say look at the movie... see hes a bad director. i personally love the prequel trilogy and so do so many others because its the first of star wars they have ever seen. from the point of veiw from someone who studies directing he is a freaken great director. most people dont realise he revolutionised the filming industry. and another thing most people dont realise is that even if a movie is bad it doesnt mean that the director is bad.

  • @shanoncg at the same time, the tree last movies he wrote and directed are pretty bad. hes a sort of awesome visionary, producer.

but his biggest problem is that he is his own censor and critic. that leads to a stall. no one says anything against his design choices, or writing, or directing. he owns every decision in every aspect of what he does. he gets no input or criticism, thus can't get better.

remember what irvin did with empire strikes back? why is it by far the best in the saga? yeah..

  • @shanoncg Personally I saw the original trilogy first... And I still love the prequels too. Hey, don't get me wrong, part of it is because I love spectacle, visual effects, and space battles, but I don't think it's bad in general either. There were definitely issues with the storyline and pacing, but there were in the first trilogy too! I think it just happens with old movies, people remember them as amazing and nothing new can compare to a golden memory.

  • @TheOneartist ...you forgot THX-1138...that movie is awesome too bad he added new fake looking CGI in that movie also...

  • @TheOneartist AGREED!

  • @TheOneartist You have to admit though, Episode III was really good, better than episode VI.

  • @KerouacandRimbaud I wouldn't say it's better than Episode VI, which still had the charm of our favourite characters, as well as Jabba and the struggle between Vader and the Emperor and Luke.

Episode III is pretty good, though. Marred by some acting and the overdone CGI, as well as a script that kept it from being a masterpiece. Plus, some inconsistencies with the original trilogy. But yeah, I know how you feel. It's definitely the best of the prequels and has some good moments.

  • @TheOneartist Yeahh, I think the only reason I place III over VI is the Ewoks. . . I don't like them at all. Which is bad, because the rest of the movie--like you said--is amazing.

  • @KerouacandRimbaud

Oh no, it wasn't. It's: V better than IV way better than VI waaaaay better than I, III, II

  • @ikokujin IV, V, III, VI, I, II.

  • @KerouacandRimbaud

And why would III be better than IV? Or even better than I or II? Because it's "dark"? Because it features D. Vader? It doesn't make any sense, has bad acting, and a lot of fan service references crammed in that doesn't even fit. Yoda knowing Chewbaka from before? Nice try Lucas.

  • @ikokujin I didn't say it's better than IV, I said VI. But it is dark. Tone makes or breaks films. Christensen's acting is quite good on Mustafar; over-the-top, sure, but I liked it. In all honesty, it's better than VI because VI had Ewoks, and Han was just sitting around. If he would have died in the beginning, the film would have a lot more tension.

  • ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS>?!?!?!

  • Souns like a Nigger D:

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You know, that wasn't bothersome at all. Maybe I was wrong about all these silly changes.

  • Jar Jar sound like he belongs in godfather,

jar jar must have put a hit on qui gon for calling him brainless.

  • @zombiepika It does have a Joe Pesci feel, doesn't it?

  • Is this real?

  • gay...

  • Hands up who thinks they should have made him Welsh instead.

  • huh...never knew Jar - Jar Binks was from New York..

  • @randomguy123ish tried to his the like button, accidentally hit "dislike" and don't know how to undo. Funny comment.

  • He sounds like a middle aged New Yorker with a speech impediment

  • That was the funniest fucking thing I've Ever heard! Jar Jar is from NYC. Who Knew?!!!! LOL

  • LIKES AND DISLIKES THE SAME

  • Wow, he really improved it! LOL

  • ...I don't want to live in this world any more.

  • sounds like scuttle from the little mermaid

  • What.

  • Eum guy, this is actually a GOOD change (probably the only one since 1997)

  • NEWW YORK CITYYY

  • I don't get you guys, this IS a change for the better.

  • What the fuck?! Did you make this or is it real? Nothing against Lucas, but the guys got no creativity, I'm sorry but it's true, I might as well go watch the fucking prequels then listen to Joe Pecis version of Jar Jar from the Italian area of Brooklyn! this is a descrace, what the fuck was lucas thinking.....

  • I thought this was a parody at first....now I realize it isn't.....dark side here I come!

  • as annoying as Jar Jar can be I still think it fit his shy and fearful character. This sounds absolutely retarded. Stop changing your movies Lucas!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Jar Jar Pesci

  • No that's not true that's impossible!

  • @Frieza1500 search your feelings you know it to be true

  • See, I saved ya 'gain!

  • missa prefer the old voice missa don´t like new voice

  • If this is real...

    Yes.

  • Comment removed

  • Joe pesci ?

  • i cannot believe this - sounds like an old Warner bros - cartoon

  • What the crap thats gay

  • This a legitimite improvement on his voice.

  • Damn, I forgot to mention Episode I:The submarine waterfall one, a perfect place to get rid of Jar Jar and delete him from the rest of the movie(not a Jar Jar hater, but Lucas would be able to get cooler deleted scenes in then).

  • Episode IV:Fine on it's own, actually. Maybe Luke and Obi-Wan should have a few more scenes in Mos Eisley after the cantina, before the Jabba one. Or maybe for Han Solo and Chewie(for instance, Mos Eisley was much larger of a story in Lego Star Wars II).

Episode V:The wampa subplot in the beginning of the movie.

Episode VI:Darth Vader unsuccessfully trying to contact Luke with the Force. More consistency with Episode V.

  • What about the few deleted scenes that needs to become part of the movie. I am talking about:Extended Pod race that'd take out some Jar Jar stuff.

Anakin vs Greedo just for fun.

Episode II:The Attack on the Trade Federation control ship to take out some Hayden scenes and to make more sense of Windu's brainless plan.

Episode III:The political subplot, forming the Rebels. Lucas should like it, it brings more consistency.

  • Is this real??? No joke?? Wow.

Jar Jar's gone from an insulting, gay-patois stereotype to a Brooklyn mobster/leg-breaker.

Reason #241 why I'm not buying this utter insult of a collection....

  • ...

    My god its perfect.

  • WTF? Is this marketing to sell more blu-rays and/or star wars packages? Is George out of Money?

  • I don't get why almost everybody hates Jar-Jar, I was in like 1st grade when the Phantom Menance came out and he was a great, funny character and still is.

  • @markopolo149 this is exactly why we hate him, he represents Lucas selling out to make money of kids toys just like when he made the ewoks to sell toys... fuck man you don't understand you're too young.

  • @Enysvar We were young not stupid you are the one that doesn't understand. The star wars movies are for all ages so they had to accomodate for adults (which was the romance, and Leia's gold bikini), and the kids (which were characters like the Ewoks and Jar Jar who were just great to watch). If you can't accept that fact,. Then move on from Star Wars

  • @Frieza1500

Yep that's why in the third one Anakin murders all those kids.

When you grow up you will realize that the new movies are fucking stupid.

  • @markopolo149 Agreed. A bit.

  • I hope this isn't serious.

  • Then a few years late on the Blu-ray re- re-release Jar Jar Binks will be screaming Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • old voice is better

  • I still don't get why he changed Jar jar's voice? Now he sounds like an italian mobster.

  • Excellent

  • NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God damn you Lucas! Because of shit like this I WON'T BUY THE BLU RAY!

  • no.... just...no.
