@TheWeirdcrap I don't understand how members of the same humankind that researched distant planets and developed a way to send and receive information through millions of miles convulsively laugh at jokes in which someone or something gets put down. Unfortunately, the motif in sociology and psychology is "We, human beings, are imperfect". But why do we magnify this flaw through the Internet?
@612354oxy8 the answer lies in the origin of humor and empathy itself, humor servers the porpuse of releaving the stress and connect beings, and with the evolution of intelligence it has become a path to spiritual and fisical freedom, something that completly questions and ignores the rules, there are time that we must be serious like all those things you´ve said, and times to laugh, like the universe suggests, there must be allways a ballance...
@VenomShock what the hell are you talking about?! So Beethoven's 5th isn't a song because it doesn't have lyrics? Are you retarded? A song is a piece of music, regardless of whether or not it has lyrics.
@VenomShock who cares, music is art...and art is ambiguous, you can't define it because that would just be a statement made subjectively, and it doesn't reflect how other interpret it, and especially how the artist meant it to be interpreted(a great artist leaves open interpretation) unfortunately there are many people that have opinions based on what is a popular opinion, but most just stick to mainstream in fear of rejection...xenakis blows away rihanna(but many would say he is just noise!)

@VenomShock i'm sorry, i wasn't trying to say you were...i was just saying who cares about the difference between a song and music, because a band that sings has the potential to be just as musical or even more than an instrumental band...singing or not singing doesn't increase or decrease the value....but for the majority they can't stand instrumental bands, i hate it when people are like "when the fuck are the vocals gonna come in?!" i didn't misinterpret, i offered my view of music!

@VenomShock it doesn't matter what you say, others can clearly see that you are the troll here!(unless of course another person decides to troll me by siding with you lol)
@VenomShock and thinking in that way only limits what you can learn...why get so upset that i am trying to show you something different...the century of self documentary can be a life altering revelation if you take the time to comprehend it...it causes you to see society differently and it will motivate you to stay true to yourself and teach others this same way of life! read some Jiddu Krishnamurti quotes...that person is THE GREATEST man alive...every quote of his manages to be life altering!
@VenomShock So, if a proper song must have lyrics, what then are the multitude of symphonies written by the west's most celebrated composers? If Beethoven added "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" would that make the classical canon "music"?
You've swallowed too many red pills, pop music does not define the extent of "music in general".
So keep thinking Justin Bieber is the epitome of MUSIC, keep quiet and leave the rest of us to our lush history of Music, as rendered by countless generations of humanity.
I don't listen to that junk. I am merely going by definition. Music can be a song or an instrumental piece or both. A song involves singing and can include an instrumental piece or just be singing. The reason it's called a "song" is because there is singing involved. That's why the word "Song" and "sing" look and sound exactly alike and accompany each other.
But most of that could be figured out by common sense.
Clint Mansell's headlining the music production for Mass Effect 3. After reading that, I hopped over here to see what he was about. I, for one, am looking forward to it.
I hear this track as backing to film and TV promos all the time, in fact heard it again just this evening which is why I'm back here listening to the soundtrack again and again...it's soft sorrow and exquisite pain carried with piercing passion and delicate refrain..it's willingy suffocating in black velvet with tears falling like warm rain

During this film, she talks of planting a tree over her grave, one day I was meditating, long before I had seen this film, and during my meditation I experience exactly what she describes, when I awoke from it I decided I would do that when I died, when I heard it being described in the film, I was in awe... could there be more meaning behind what I had experienced during meditation, have others also experienced this?
@SirRecluse This movie is about KARMA. They have lived many lives together through reincarnation as he goes with the same struggle; Trying to SAVE HER LIFE. Sometimes i feel that i'm doing the same thing again. trying to make it better this time. watch( PROJECT CAMELOT DOLORES CANNON) interview
The Fountain= Amazing movie. I didn't understand the plot line at first, but after a few views I began to realize what Aronofsky was trying to portray and it's quite a beautiful message. I'm recently dealing with the loss of my grandfather and, albeit strange, the movie actually somewhat helped me come to terms with his death. The music was also a big help. Giant thumbs up
Just saw Pirates of the Carribean on Stranger Tides. Did anyone else notice that the theme prevalent in most of the soundtrack's songs (example in this song at 2:23) is in that movie prolifically as well? Possibly a send-up since both movies heavily involve a fountain of youth/life as a MacGuffin.
Is it just me or does this movie sort of represent hallucinogens? And I do not mean, let's watch it while tripping. I mean the story or what not as well as the 5th dimension theme going on.....
@Benjammin62 That would make sense, but I think the central idea is humanity's inability to accept mortality. All three Toms were obssessed, in one way or another, with not necessarily the preservation of life, but rather the prevention of death. Isabelle's character represents how, when we begin to fully accept death as a natural occurence, life becomes that much more beautiful and treasured. That was the significance of the "First Snow" scenes. He finds sorrow in his pursuit; she finds peace
Clint Mansell has got to be my favourite composer. This, 'Requiem for a dream' and 'Together we will live forever' are easily my favourite songs at the momment. And I'm so going to learn 'em on the piano... =)
You know it's been a successful propaganda campaign when 3 centuries after their dissolution a group of German democratists are still being reviled as devil worshipers out to overthrow the good and orderly life of the average citizen.
@aroundtheworlda Actually the Islamic propaganda are being used because the 9/11 was an inside job. The US and UK want oil from them and take the land Land of Babylon where the Devil was born.
BTW for any gamers out there, Clint Mansell has been confirmed as the composer for Mass Effect 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is already going to be the best game ever just got better!
I finally watched the film! It was amazing, so different from all the movies I've ever seen! It's full of emotion, art, an outstanding way to tell a story through 3 perspectives and it has great music! Bravo to Darren Aronofsky for this!
Having not seen this movie, I still really like this piece. I must say it can't really beat "The Tree of Life." That theme will be stuck in my head for years.
easily the greatest piece of music i have everhead and with the film it makes so much sense. Clint mansell is that rare genius who can convey sorrow, love, anger, passion and more in one 9 minute track than most composers ever do This music is not just great music its a piece of art and is just incredibly beautiful yet i feel i am still doing it a great justice
saw this movie 2 days ago, and i gotta say one of the awesomest movies i've seen in my life. the soundtrack made it better. even my dad loved it. love this music. i listen to it every day. its just soo beautiful
can someone please tell me what the heck is ' the arrivals ' i see it mentioned in like all of these videos... im just curious. i want to know what its about, or what it is even .
@sk8terbandgeek17 Don't even bother. It's a Muslim conspiracy theory video series. It has concepts from other conspiracy theory videos like Zeitgeist and vids by Alex Jones, etc. The guys who made the videos used Clint Mansell's music from The Fountain soundtrack. Which is why you see all these annoying comments *sigh*
@sk8terbandgeek17 the arrivals is a fascinating documantary about the world and illuminati its not a "muslim conspiracy theory" its the truth about how the illuminati control the world and about how they are building the new world order for the arrival of the false messiah, the series brings verses from the Quran proves their agenda isnt a conspiracy theory its real and we all need to wake up to that fact, I recommend you watch it with an open mind and do research to find the truth
Excellent music, first time I heard this music when I was watching The Arrivals, wondered to myself who was behind the music, so I done some research, and behold I found out.
Why do u always have to compare something SO beautiful like this kind of music with religion. Why is it so hard to understand that religion has NOTHING to do with music, when you are listening to that song some of you may say religion things, but when you are listening to a punk/pop/rock song u arent thinking"this is so great thank you God".You have to understand that music is really a GREAT thing, and world would be miserable without music, but don't compare it to God.
@panos4815162342 The Arrivals is a very detailed Documentary exposing the New World Order, and the history behind them, and linking them all together towards their hidden agenda, and more. You have to watch it all cuz it's quite long, many parts to it, you may find it hard to believe.
@sintahao ppl don't like questions because they want you to believe in a very VERY VERY religious form.... i just don't go to church because i got tired of ppl telling me wat the Bible says and wat it means and how i should believe... i read the Bible 4 myself to find my own meaning
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. "
Beautiful...
This is the kind of music that inspires me.
I'm 16, and I'm wirting an online book.
Clint Mansell is the artist that inspires me the most, thank you so much!

xxxslayerxxx666 7 months ago
@xxxslayerxxx666 Jesus Christ, talk about self-righteous.
But it doesn't matter. You're a troll. But you're entertaining me.
VenomShock 7 months ago
@VenomShock it doesn't matter what you say, others can clearly see that you are the troll here!(unless of course another person decides to troll me by siding with you lol)
xxxslayerxxx666 7 months ago
@xxxslayerxxx666 Yeah. Okay.
VenomShock 7 months ago
@VenomShock and thinking in that way only limits what you can learn...why get so upset that i am trying to show you something different...the century of self documentary can be a life altering revelation if you take the time to comprehend it...it causes you to see society differently and it will motivate you to stay true to yourself and teach others this same way of life! read some Jiddu Krishnamurti quotes...that person is THE GREATEST man alive...every quote of his manages to be life altering!
xxxslayerxxx666 7 months ago
@xxxslayerxxx666 I'm not getting remotely upset. What gave you that idea?
I don't listen to Mr. Derka Derk.
I listen to people I actually give a damn about. Like Hitchcock, and Kubrick.
VenomShock 7 months ago
@VenomShock So, if a proper song must have lyrics, what then are the multitude of symphonies written by the west's most celebrated composers? If Beethoven added "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" would that make the classical canon "music"?
DocHoncho 6 months ago
You've swallowed too many red pills, pop music does not define the extent of "music in general".
So keep thinking Justin Bieber is the epitome of MUSIC, keep quiet and leave the rest of us to our lush history of Music, as rendered by countless generations of humanity.
DocHoncho 6 months ago 5
@DocHoncho Uh... no.
VenomShock 6 months ago
@DocHoncho you can interpretate only in english. for example 'piosenka'(song) and 'śpiewać'(sing) don't look the same and don't sound the same :)

Giant thumbs up

yea i did notice that too, just saw it a couple of hours ago and then started watching the fountain bc i couldn't get the score outta my head....
hulk4207 9 months ago
Just saw Pirates of the Carribean on Stranger Tides. Did anyone else notice that the theme prevalent in most of the soundtrack's songs (example in this song at 2:23) is in that movie prolifically as well? Possibly a send-up since both movies heavily involve a fountain of youth/life as a MacGuffin.

Is it just me or does this movie sort of represent hallucinogens? And I do not mean, let's watch it while tripping. I mean the story or what not as well as the 5th dimension theme going on.....
Benjammin62 10 months ago
@Benjammin62 That would make sense, but I think the central idea is humanity's inability to accept mortality. All three Toms were obssessed, in one way or another, with not necessarily the preservation of life, but rather the prevention of death. Isabelle's character represents how, when we begin to fully accept death as a natural occurence, life becomes that much more beautiful and treasured. That was the significance of the "First Snow" scenes. He finds sorrow in his pursuit; she finds peace

sk8terbandgeek17 1 year ago
@sk8terbandgeek17 Don't even bother. It's a Muslim conspiracy theory video series. It has concepts from other conspiracy theory videos like Zeitgeist and vids by Alex Jones, etc. The guys who made the videos used Clint Mansell's music from The Fountain soundtrack. Which is why you see all these annoying comments *sigh*
aurayon 1 year ago
@sk8terbandgeek17 the arrivals is a fascinating documantary about the world and illuminati its not a "muslim conspiracy theory" its the truth about how the illuminati control the world and about how they are building the new world order for the arrival of the false messiah, the series brings verses from the Quran proves their agenda isnt a conspiracy theory its real and we all need to wake up to that fact, I recommend you watch it with an open mind and do research to find the truth

1 John 4:7-10:
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. "
