  • i would go under there cut my finger and thousands of sharks would swarm me

  • @TigerG2 That's hilarious. But it's freshwater. Sorry man.

  • I tried that once! But I am not nearly strong enough to push it under water

  • @JosephAures Neither are we. That room has approximately 5,600 pounds of lift. We anchor the ring and net down first then fill it with air.

  • how long can you stay there before you are out of air?

  • @BulletCastDuo It depends on how many people and how much oxygen each person uses (everyone is different, if you're super out of breath from the swim then you'll be breathing harder etc.). When the air begins to get "thin" we refresh it.

  • Ive always wanted to make one but me and my friends are not strong enough to pull it under water

  • @TheHamCutr Neither are we. That room has approximately 5,600 pounds of lift. We anchor the ring and net down first then fill it with air.

  • @freakqnc

well you're no fun, are you?

  • fucking smoke weed in it. i havent looked at something and thought "smoke in there" since way back in the day when it was still so novel... but man i shit you not thatd be a cool experience....

  • @slothscantswim Yeah imagine how happy would be the person getting there next who would be gasping for air like the person who filmed this... not a cool experience for them. Speaking of which with all the people taking air out and filling it with CO2 I wonder how many divers it can take before the underwater room becomes an underwater trap o_O a tad dangerous if a way to re-pump fresh air in is not added, just sayin'... have fun but be careful! ;)

  • @freakqnc The person who filmed this (my brother Jordan) just swam 70 feet out then 15 feet down (holding his breath) with ONE HAND because he was holding the camera with the other hand... My guess is you'd be out of breath too. Notice the other people aren't as tired when they surface, in fact you don't even hear my dad in the room until the camera pans to him. The air is refreshed with SCUBA tanks. It is dangerous, even more so if you aren't thinking. Having brains is required.

  • LOL

  • Sweet mustache..... Look like a total pedo.

  • How does the room get more oxygen?

  • Who else wants to hotbox this thing?

  • @ItsQuin wait... gravity bong hotbox!!

  • that is very cool, but once people go into there too much, it would fill with carbom dioxide, thus incapable to breathe air, right?

  • @Tucker29jmjp 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • the ultimate stoner getaway

  • There's a fix quantity of air in there... a bit longer, and they would all have died of carbon dioxyde poisoning... a amazing invention!!! :P

  • @freyden389 You do have a grasp of the concept of oxygen exchange but we are not retarded, the 4th sentence in the description explains "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank." By "carbon dioxide poisoning" I assume you're referring to hypercapnia, the effects of which are not instantaneous. Things build slowly and an aware person (with aware buddies) will easily be able to prevent anything dangerous.

  • smoke weed in there.

  • wasn't this in waterworld?????????????????????

  • How that that not yet been vandalized??

  • @MAndersonReviews Because it's only there when we are there. We take it with us when we leave.

  • real easy way to get an aneurysm/pulmonary edema and fucking die

  • @CaliforniaVolante Pulmonary Edema is buildup of fluid in the lungs - not really a danger here. Perhaps you mean pulmonary barotrauma, which is a difference in pressure between the lung and the surrounding cavity that over stretches (or bursts) the lung.

An aneurysm happens in arterys (or on rare occasion in a vein) and is not caused by diving 15 feet underwater. A weakened blood vessel is the cause and this is typically inherited or caused by disease - not caused by trauma.

  • shoulda smoked a bowl in there!

  • @inthebasement801 and how exactly would he get the weed in there?

  • @DaNiLhOtSoN his butt derder

  • @DaNiLhOtSoN How could he not get the weed in there? I can think of many ways

  • @inthebasement801 Clearly this guy isn't a pot head and never was... Orrrrrr, Hes just WAAYY tooo fried. I'm afraid for our species sometimes...

  • @DaNiLhOtSoN You're an idiot or just genuinely slow and IF that is the case then.. I'm sorry.

  • What happens when it runs out of air?

  • @got2strpk We refill it.

  • reading all the comments while watching i was like.... what musta HOLY SHIT MUSTACHE

  • holy mustache.!!!

  • yüüah

  • Smoking weed underwater brought me here

  • win mustache

  • You could put/grow weed in that. Not that I would but I could completely see someone exploring it. Rural lake property perhaps....

  • that mustache is pimp

  • Air? C02 danger?

  • @backyardsounds 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • @pillageTHENburn I never read the descripts until I say something stupid... looks like fun.

  • epic mustache

  • How did they not get the bends on the way back to the surface? Is it not far down enough?

  • @theycallmefibb You don't have to worry about decompression sickness above 50ft on short free dives. The bigger concern in how small the air pocket is. If you stay in there for more than say 10 minutes you will breath up all the oxygen and pass out.

  • @mikezaq1 You are right on. Decompression sickness is not an issue at 15 feet. There's nearly 90 cubic feet of air in there (89.74) so it lasts a little longer than 10 minutes but you are right there too, the air needs to be refreshed regularly.

  • @theycallmefibb Correct, it is not deep enough to be a danger for the bends. However pulmonary barotrauma is a serious danger.

  • omg I want oneeeeee !!! can you make them super big too ??

  • @pornoslut This room puts nearly 2 tons of lift on EACH of the three main cables. The forces are immense, bigger is doable but requires beefed up engineering.

  • Comment removed

  • The Bubble Room rules! Gotta make one! Of course the water will not be as clear. I live in southwest Ohio and the lakes are crappy. But I still gotta have one!

  • @misper34 Good luck! Be safe! There are some very serious dangers so always have a backup plan. If you do it send us some pictures or video!

  • how do they not get carbon dioxide poisoning? do they bring down scuba tanks or something to add oxygen?

  • @TheNaughtySnowman read description

  • @TheNaughtySnowman 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • Most Interesting Man In The World @ 2:14

  • @imRyRy He is. That is my dad and you are correct.

  • @pillageTHENburn It was a joke based on a commercial...

  • were you scared if the thing collapsed?,is there enough oxygen in there?

  • @fabprincesscut There isn't really a danger of "collapse"; the air provides a lifting force which "pushes" up against the dome. The room is held down with big cables that are anchored to giant rocks.

  • OMG THATS SO COOL! I MIGHT MAKE ONE lol no! ha

  • also a water tight pipe could provide air.

  • @MrDevin712 The pipe would need to be pressurized, the pressure in the room is roughly 1.5 atm so you would need to pump the air down. We've considered it but so far hasn't been worth the effort and cost of a floating generator.

  • put down floating floor with a hole in the floor then get a generator and have lihts etc.

  • @MrDevin712 We stand on the sand on the bottom of the lake. No need for a floor. Water is clear, dome is clear, sun is bright - no need for lights (unless it was night, haven't tried that yet! sounds fun!).

  • how does air get inside?

  • as long as you had enough plants to obsorb the co2 you would be fine

  • @E10dc well they either pulled the net thing down there and trapped air in it before or pumped oxygen into

  • @jdog4ever2 Number 2 is correct except it's not "oxygen" it's simply air. SCUBA tank air (for what we are doing) is just regular air that is compressed.

  • @E10dc 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • Cool as shit

  • @Afxtn Thanks man! We think so too!

  • this is cool where is this

  • @eurito100 This is in an alpine lake in Nevada.

  • Is that a decompressing room for divers ?

  • @M4GICSL3IGHTZ No, but it could be. It's a little shallow to be a decompression room but it could function as one.

  • lol put some pot plants in there to replace the oxigen. there is plenty of co2 and light.

  • sweet moustche

  • what would you do after air ran out?

  • @STKhero 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • Im sure they had a scub tankto inflate it after tey sucured it down if not try sinkin that with only a cuple of people its would be hard as hell and all they have to do is put more air in with the scuba

Tank each time and the co2 will buble out after it cant expanded anymore

  • @tomone213 Yes, we attach the ring and net and dome then fill it with air from a SCUBA tank. There is more than 5,000 pounds of lift on the room, I don't know about you but I could never pull that underwater.

  • Steves Cartoons where are u hiding I'm 2012

  • wouldnt you eventually breath in all the co2? and the air would end up being exhaled as carbon dioxide?

  • @elboricua123 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • i know where im hiding when 2012 comes around guess i dont have to worry about the end of the world anymore.

  • would suck if that thing imploded on you

  • @pietzeekoe Can you define what you mean by implode for me? I'm about curious what you are thinking.

  • @pillageTHENburn The water pressure caving in on the bubble.

  • how is this possible?

  • @themysteryman44

    Short answer: Physics.

Medium answer: Turn a cup upside down and submerge it in a bathtub of water. What happens? Hint: displacement.

Long answer: Go to the website linked in the description.

  • were is this place i want to know cuase never have i gone swimming somewere , were the water is so clean and deep besides in a river but the current pulls you away its fun but its hard to relax and float when a rough cold current is pushing you

  • @blackwinter35 An alpine lake in Nevada. It's amazing isn't it!?!

  • whats really intriguing is that when other two guys came down, one of them have a perfect swirl at the tips of his moustache!

  • all the times you go in that you use up oxygen theres probably nothing but co2 in there now

  • @billlibong 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • hell ya hot box thats a deffinate

  • I wanna see it pop with them in it!

  • @Helicopterpilot16 As the guy who built it: that would be pretty awesome. I would volunteer to be in it for sure! Easily survivable and probably a pretty fun ride to the surface!

  • i gotta ask you a question, how long can the air saty like, umm, oxygeny or whatever?

  • @Thewinnipegboy Oxygenated?

  • @Thewinnipegboy Depends on how many people and how much oxygen each of them is using (everyone is different). Generally between 10 minutes to half an hour, it gets refreshed with a SCUBA tank so it's not really an issue.

  • I mustache you a question...

  • @yokokitsune0800 But ill shave it for later

  • @yokokitsune0800 But ill shave it for later

  • @yokokitsune0800 Shave it for later

  • u went down there with a damm snorkeler lmao

  • Wouldnt after awile after that many people go there the oxygen suppy drop and become mainly CO2 meaning that you couldnt stay in there? There seems to be no hoses reaching to the surface so im curious.

  • @greencell0 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • id let a fart off in there.

  • You should Def smoke in there, and then see if u can make it back to the top....hhaaaa....

  • No but your under a dome. If you took it off it would be like a vaccuum.

  • @supermike615 Not really. It's actually pressurized because it's underwater. There's about 1.5 atm of pressure inside the room. Because of water resistance (and the fact that the dome is flexible vinyl and attached at 64 spots around the ring) you couldn't really "take off the dome" fast enough to do anything amazing.

  • Stale air?

  • 2:07 Awesome mustache xD

  • What if you went in, took of your mask and there was no air to breath.

  • @supermike615 What would happen if you went SCUBA diving and your mask fell off? Nothing, you swim to the surface with no mask...or OPEN YOUR EYES!?!

  • @vantagetes This man deserves a promotion! Well stated!

  • @supermike615 Well your mask doesn't supply air, it just makes it so your eyes aren't touching water. So weather or not you take off your mask you still are going to want to breath. As far as that goes the 4th sentence in the description should answer your question: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • awesome...

  • @zaneacademy Thank you!!

  • Dude I just saw this on tv

  • @redneckpoop Yes! We were on National Geographic on a show called Mad Scientist, we filmed a small piece of the show in the Bubble Room then we went and made an awesome thing called the Lunar Leaper! You should check it out on youtube! (search Mad Scientists - Biggest Teeter-Totter Ever)

  • that is soo cool! where is it? Ten years later after a @, "the bubble room!"

  • I love that noise of bubbles at 1:21

  • What about putting plants inside the bubble? There seems to be ample sunlight and obviously enough CO2 to allow for photosynthesis.

  • @bradyculous totally awesome idea!!

  • @bradyculous This would not work. Since Plants do not produce CO2, they would run out rather quickly. They produce Oxygen, so they would actually die from lack of CO2.

  • @jebline Yes, but the constant arrival of people would provide more than ample amounts of CO2. A small plant could thrive with that amount of CO2 for weeks.

  • omg for some reson i have a fear of this... i got all scared..

  • LIKE :X

  • how do you get in

  • @MrFantagegurl Swim. With your arms and legs. Whilst holding your breath. You watched it happen; No?

  • Looks like the thing off Waterworld. Nice

  • nobody could hold their breath that long!

  • @lantern26 So... what are you saying? That my brother isn't a human? It's only 15 feet down, not that far for breath holding.

  • TOO COOOOOOL!

  • @TheAusttin Thanks! We think so too!

  • Skip to :53 to see the damn thing.

  • @Falling100 Good point. Sorry for the long beginning. This was just a raw upload then it got REALLY popular and I can't replace the file... There is a shorter version out there somewhere.

  • @MRmegaVideoz

    Well yeah but you forget…

Where's the "pearl jam" gonna go?

    Piss and poo.

Haven't you seen 2 girls and a cup?!

  • coolest place for sex? and nobody fart!!!!

  • Imagin if a pot head was their. He would hot box it

  • @wilo0318 i would hot box it

  • @wilo0318 but how would we get the weed underwater?:(

  • @THEJustinSimmons put it waterproof bags?

  • @DylansEpic haha that would be sick.

  • @THEJustinSimmons plastic bag man!

  • @wilo0318 i would >_<

  • @wilo0318 ohh yea, but can anyone tell me if they have a tube taking oxygen to the bubble? cuz it would run out wouldnt it?

  • @KTMisFORfaggots 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • @wilo0318 That sounds like a really good idea

  • @wilo0318 "hey mann, can i use your snorkel as a pipe, maann? my papers got wet"

  • @wilo0318 FYI "their" should be "there" and imagine is missing an "e".

  • Comment removed

  • this is sick, where does it take place?

  • @OnCameraWeirdos Mostly underwater.

  • @OnCameraWeirdos Sorry, that last comment was sarcastic. It's in an alpine lake in Nevada.

  • whats the underwater room?

  • @scaryrides Watch this video to find out.

  • tell tht guy tht i like his mustach its awsome

  • @imaginationlyrics Yes. I will tell him.

  • Wow, wish i could go there.

  • Video starts at 1:00 (just in case u dont want to see some man swimming around the water with tights) :P

  • co2 poison whats that

  • @nathanh216 4th sentence in the description: "Air is regularly re-freshed with a SCUBA tank."

  • what if you stick your finger in the net hole twss :P

  • @NERF5901 What do you mean?

  • WTF 4 guys in there breathing hard lol gay

  • @zZGAAM3RZz because they need to catch their breathe maybe idk?
