Is a bayan any Russian made chromatic? I always thought that were only B-Systems, that looks like a C-System. Great song, learn something new everyday :)
Thanks for your comment Zac. The full sized bayan has 105 right hand buttons as compared to the standard 92. It also has the free-bass left hand. By pressing a bar all the chord buttons are converted to single notes. Also the bayan has the right hand button board built a third way into the box intead of on the edge. This enable the arm to be more relaxed because the elbow doesn't bend so much. There are also more differences pertaining to tuning...
I know most of that, what I was saying is that the right hand keyboard looks like a C-System. The dirrection the buttons are arranged either goes from left to right. My chromatic is a B-System, they keyboard goes the other direction. I had always heard the B-System was more of the Eastern accordionist and C-System was more in Northern Europe and France. I could be wrong though, just curious about it all. Thanks for the info!
