  • It was a beautiful piece of magic, but if you are trying to fool magicians, in my opinion it isn't the right effect to be doing at all. Everything he did, although done perfectly, are easily spoted by a magician. I've seen Michael do more impressive things before, he should have definitely gone in a different direction. Never-the-less, executed perfectly and an absolute joy to watch!

  • when im older i want to do that :)

  • If there's one thing many magicians don't get right - is the presentation. And this guy however (forgive the pun) ACED in that category.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Lovely handling

  • Perfect philosophy on magic, nothing is done with sleight of hand or skill, the magic just happens without him doing anthing.

  • I'm always amazed by people who excel in sleight of hand, and Mr. Vincent is definitely a master of the craft.

  • "The Cooler" << Love the metaphor

  • best act of the night , they should of taken him

OK they say we know how it is done but lets see them do it

  • @teddyboysampson i garuntee they can do it, like they said, simple classic magic, beautifully executed

  • @teddyboysampson

Penn and Teller aren't slight of hand specialists neither are they close up magicians..

  • @teddyboysampson Most seasoned magicians would know what he is doing and how. Michael Vincent perfectly represent the beauty of classic magic. However, the premise of the show is for them to be fooled and they simply weren't. If the show was instead based on performance ability and the like I have no doubt that Penn and Teller would have moved him forward. They clearly had a deep appreciation of his performance but based on the show's premise they couldn't do much about that.

  • He is the best close up magician alive, if not best ever.

And I'm sure allot of you don't like me saying this but he is better than penn and teller.

  • @GiianniR i dont know about ever or alive he is good no doubt best with cards ever was Ed Marlo, best close up magician right now is Eugene Burger, and close up is more than cards. no doubt this guy is fucking amazing

  • @GiianniR You are absolutely right sir, no way in hell penn and teller can do that but it sucks they know exactly how it was done because this guy was my favorite act !

  • Mr Vincent, fantastisc! You bring the gentalman in to magic again. That is superior slight of hand! :) Hope you will come to Blackpool this year!?.

    All the best from Denmark

  • That blew me away. you are definitely in my top 3 magicians list

  • one word "beautiful"

  • the switch at 4:33

watched it so many times and it still amazes me

    this guy is awesome!

  • I love the way Penn keeps looking at Teller as if to say "It was well executed, but he aint foolin' us!"

  • These tricks are beautiful, but the way You perform them, is stunning. Fantastic job!

  • Wonderful magic, Michael. I just became your new fan.

  • Wow, this is so elegant Mr.Vincent.

My hat is off before you.

  • Great routine!

  • Honestly one of the best routines i have ever seen and probably going to see, it wasnt what you done which made it incredible, it was how you done it.. An you performed with Magical Beauty, i loved it :)

  • MICHAL WELL DONE

  • wow owl eyes!!

  • So Good Well Done

  • Beautiful work!

    Congrats to a successful performance!

  • I watched that. Of course they wouldn't be fooled by magic like that but it was the best performance of the night.

  • thanks Michael for your performance, it's a pleasure for me to see your magic

  • Absolutely brilliant performance. I'm certainly glad that those two caught the ending because I probably wouldn't have. I'm very pleased that Penn took the time to commend you for all of your dedication because you certainly deserved it.

  • the cooler? do they mean that you did a deck switch or something?

  • @SUBXero92 Yes, they mean it was a deck switch.

  • I don't get it. So was it a cooler? I'm not that great with english. If it's a cooler, then that explains a lot.

  • 'Rang in the cooler'? Haha, WHAT?! I'm not a magician, but I would call myself savvy to prestidigitation, and I don't recognize that jargon.

  • Absolutely wonderful technical execution and highly entertaining presentation Michael! Very well done.

  • What a wonderful gentleman and scholar.

  • Wow !

  • if he were to start out with a deck in new deck order thats been farroed 6 times he could have done the whole routine without using a cold deck. He would just have to perform two farros before the last fase and instead of doing the two zarros he could have kept it "honest with the farros." Just a thought, not that it matters the effects would be the same.My favorite magician.

  • Fooling P&T is impossible. Getting a complement like that from Penn is once in a life time.

  • Dude. I cannot explain how I feel right now. This must be what people are aiming for when they take drugs. Amazing.

  • Incredible.

  • Which channel/time is it on? Also, will those of us that live in the United States be able to get the channel?

  • I saw this a couple of days ago, and I have to say, he was my favorite act.

  • Wonderful performance. It is always a pleasure to see such high quality magic.

  • WHAT THE HECK! even if they weren't "fooled" by the magic, everything about your performance was magnificent! I believe they should of just gave into your magic and said that they were fooled because seriously this is magic! I can't believe Pen and Teller are acting as if they know everything about magic as to make a show to "fool them". This seems ridiculous to me! If I were them, I would of let you fooled me because there is no greater magic than this!

  • @RLMagicGuru Penn and teller pretty much do know everthing about magic.A highly tecniqual routine like this is not going to fool magicians who've been around as long as penn and teller, its the sleightless effects with odd concepts that fool magicians.

  • @TheBradTobin This show should not be about fooling them but impressing them. Obviously this performance deserves more (+) recognition. Instead of stating what they "caught" from this performance, they should be praising his skill. Overall, this show goes against what magic really is, it should be about helping the art of magic in any (+) way possible. I feel that when Penn and Teller discusses the method in front of the magician that is quite horrific, even though it's only hinted.

  • @RLMagicGuru This show is not about fooling them, thats only the plot of the show, if that was what the show was realy about michael would have chose a different routine to perform, but he picked that material because realy he was performing for the audiance, not penn and teller. .At the end they do give recognition of his skill, they even point out to the audiance hes using a regular deck of cards because the show is about the viewers, dressed in the drama of trying to fool penn and teller.

  • Now that.... is magic at its purest state. Michael was dressed up very nicely and was very polite to his audience (both Penn and Teller as well as the studio audience). The patter was refreshingly interesting in my opinion. Overall a 10/10 performance. Fantastic job!

  • 911 fooled pen and teller.

  • you and your presentation just keep me smiling everytime I saw the magic in your hands. That was absolutely fantastic! Would you mind, could you please tell me what books or sources I could learn these tricks?

  • @calmakris Check out Michael's DVD. I'm pretty sure they're somewhere in there.
