  • different from a vocaloid in that she has a voice actress who sings the songs for her

wheras vocaloids go through a process of having the entire japanese alphabet recorded as well as several words, the they all need to be compressed and digitized

  • It's sad how her fame ended quickly.....she's awesome! D,:

  • Is she Ami Yamato's mom?

  • she's in our school book O.O

  • guat daa ...

  • Virtual Voice by vocaloid, virtual human modelling in 3d, programmed movements,

    is this a real star?

  • is anyone a just little creeped out by her dancing..? haha

  • So sad, and before anyone foes "Why come here?!?!" it's to marvel at idiots.

  • clearly, she is deep in the bottom of the uncanny valley...

  • Japan is still great that they even have virtual idols when I wasn't even born then... They're so cool Forever! ♥

  • Unique: no dislikes.

  • this is so cool! There should be a Kyoko 2, she'd look even more realistic! i know it's Japanese but why is just the "love comunication" part in English? Anyone know a way i can get the lyrics translated to English? I actually kinda like this song!

  • There should be a Kyoko Date 2. We have much better technology now.

  • @xxwzaebd totally, she just looks like a sim now.

  • Is this the Cyber Idol that co-hosted the MTV Music Awards a few years back? At least I think it was the MTV Music Awards, it could have been something else.

  • @superjon89 I need more info.

  • @superjon89 The character your referring to is called Ulala, she is the main character in the Space Channel 5 franchise of rhythm games Sega made, she co-hosted the 2000 MTV Music Awards when Sega was still promoting the Sega Dreamcast, and was eager to show off their hip new franchise. While it never caught on like DDR, the franchise still has a cult following among video game fans. On a side note, her character is a reporter, and doesn't sing in the games, just dances.

  • the ancestor of Hatsune Miku ^^ !!!

  • Pfft. I can see the strings!

  • Love her moves!

  • The Italian singer Alan Sorrenti made a song for her in 1997,to listen it just serch "Kyoko mon amour".

    Ciao :)

  • she's in our german phliosophie book :D

  • The good old days....

  • Man, I used to have this on mini CD! It had the music video too... I had a crush on Kyoko Date

  • i bet she will materialize in the real world in 2012, becoming the leader of the new world order.

  • Kyoko Date was the 1st Asian singer I was fan of a very long time ago. 2 bad the project is stopped. After that I like 2 listen 2 CoCo Lee, Namie Amuro, Kristine Sa and some other Asian singers.

  • Wow, I love this digital pop star!!!
