Dear friends Maurizio and Danny,

This natural disaster must have made you and your neighbors feel helpless and frightened.

I remeber your writing that you had to scramble to the rooftop to save yourselves

from being swept away by the turbulent flood waters.This storm left so much damage and misery in its wake and changed lives forever. Government response to such calamaties is often slow and insufficient, at least that is the case in the United States where I live.

My heart is with you.
