  • this is really cool me and my classmates at menomonie high school r doing the same piece and its alot of fun and our men's chorus is mostly freshmen and sophmores like me but my teacher said its the hardest men's song he's ever directed so i hope we do just as good as these guys cuz they were amazingly great

  • As a Jamaican, I truly appreciated this rendition of Miss Lou's "mek mi hold yu hand" folk song. She is a Jamaican icon & it would have been lovely to see her rocking in delight & astonishment to this variation of her song, truly seeing that her work had been handed down the generations & is still appreciated. Never been moved to comment on a youtube video before, and even signed up to youtube just now expressly for that purpose. This one really touches the hearts of us Jamaicans who learned this song from grannie an dem in kingston or wherever. Shared this w/grannie (age 90) -- her 1st utube video.   • Hilarious . . . and fantastic. Of course, like others have said, work on that 'yuh han' instead of 'you hand.' The vowel in 'yuh' is like a short 'o.' Also, 'long' should be 'lang,' and 'gal' should be 'gyal.' Not to take anything from your performance, though: it was BRILLIANT! Oonu a 'appen!
