  • The Oil companies are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating your own electricity now.

Visit LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints . Join the Revolution!!

  • my samsung LED uses $10 a year...)))

  • please dont waste your time here unless you are bored but if you want to save real energy. get your hands on the SURGEXPRO.

  • just switch off at the power point to save money

  • Listen I got an asshole who thinks the cable modem and router is also taking up power and when he knows I'm using it he fucking unplugs it as well as the washing machine and dryer.

Seriously, are those specific devices taking up that much energy that need to be unplugged, I mean we've always had them plugged up never complained about the bill.

Btw he leaves 2 Tvs, DVR, and 2 DVD players plugged up 24/7 with no regard. Though I use the internet the most. I may need to do a video response.

  • the only bad thing is if you turn off your t.v ur xbox/ps3/etc etc turns off lolol

  • I think that's the point

  • i love how you have all this tech knowledge yet record in shitty quality, its kinda funny. seriously tho ur vids are helpful just the quality is killing me.

  • Awesome!

  • What did I do? Geez...

  • yeah, I kind of know how you feel...

  • i think its a great! idea just one floor though, for me and for anyone els that has sky + if you hit the button to record a whole series of something they sky receiver box has to be on or on standby for that to happen so i have to have my TV switched on when ever the box is due to record something thats gona get quite annoying, I'm not bashing it i think any way so save your electricity bill is a really good idea just maybe not practical everyone. i'd buy the computer one though.

  • think of the amount of electricity chris has consumed since 92. shiit!

  • easily over 9000 kilowatt hours

  • i just have an extention lead with switches on it in an accessable place. It cheap and realible!

  • EnergyStar

  • guys what the deal with this tag jag or whatever why doesnt he say just amazon what by us clicking this link he gets money or whats the deal?

  • well, he gets credit with them, and advertisment, so he gets money and funding and free crazy crap

  • Thanks for that but im in england,

  • going to the trickle start website.

their products work in europe as well.

  • Just two quotes from you:

"I am NOT an internet famous"

"Just google the word Chris, you'll find me..."

    kek

  • unplug them from the wall? just get a power strip for less than $10 and flip one switch dork.

  • my electric bill is currently 0.2 bucks...

  • menu settings wont be saved anymore and it will take a year or more to recoup the cost of this thing so why bother.

  • I need one. i don't like when my monitors sleep. I turn them off manually. This would make it easy.

  • Problem is that if my DVR dosent get power than the guide resets and than it takes forever to get the guide back and the channels :(

  • This seems pretty useful! But I live in England, so they wouldn't even be compatible in this country... I don't have anything like this, so I will check around for similar products over here.

  • i have one kinda like that but smaller and it also is a surge protector

  • Seems like a scam. Why not just buy a power strip with a switch and plug everything into it? It takes less than 5 seconds to flip a switch.

  • Sometimes you aren't able to access that powerstrip behind an entertainment center or something. I guess this is the solution.

  • Can't you just plug everything in a power strip and flip it off.

  • So how much will this trickle thingy gadget waste energy when it's plugged in? It sure needs to sense something through usb 24/7 so that's considered as a waste. It also is yet another thing to produce, wasting a heck of energy and some of your money.. So it's not worth buying. Sorry. I stick with ordinary switches.

  • Instead of spending 20$ on these couldn't you use a serge protector and flip the built-in switch off when you're not using the stuff that's plugged into it?

  • My computer is hardly ever off lol

  • Thanks.

  • man it would take a loooong time to save $20-$30 from simple trickle energy consumption. by my calculations and I am in overpriced California it would take 5 years to save $20

  • well, smart to buy it sooner rather then later then ;) Save some money, buy a burger

  • btw your actually the first result on the search chris on google

  • he knows XD

  • wow, he wasnt lieing when he said just google chris lol

  • I know, I wonder how he got his name to be first on the search.

  • he's popular XD

  • or just un plug it and save 40$

  • thats acutally amazing you're the first thing that comes up on google when you type in chris

  • Or with living in a country that has SWITCHES on its power sockets, I could just.. turn it off.

  • no thanks this item is kinda stupid... ill just unplug it.

  • power bar with a switch click on click off...

  • Useless

  • Chris should drive a Prius XD

  • omg XD

  • Just FYI , devices that use power when they're turned off are called "phantoms."

I just use an ordinary power strip/splitter. A lot of people don't realize that the little switch on a standard splitter virtually makes a wall that power can't go through. This cuts off power to the 6 outlets, and the power strip doesn't use ANY electricity. I just have all my computer stuff in a splitter, run the computer for ~8 hours daily, shut it down and flip the switch when I'm not using it (~16 hours daily)

  • chris looks really pale in this video...

  • what if i have a router as a peripheral and a modem? what would i do with that?

  • Yea... but at my house I have used one of those wall plugs that tells me how much I use in a year out of one of my plugs and it told me like .01 cents a month. That was with everything pretty much in my office plugged into one power strip. Then I tried it on my dj/pa system with over 3000 watts of power on standby and it was only about .02 cents. So your not really saving a whole lot. At least I wouldn't be saving anything by buying this device.

  • I have an Idea!

unplug all of those computers from the wall, and stop making videos. think about how much electricity you'll save!

  • How much does that thing actually save? I doubt it would be very noticeable.

  • that's actually pretty cool.

  • that thing would break wit thin a year so you would actuary be wasting money lol

  • Hang on a minute ...did he just say a tv uses MORE power than a pc? lol

  • lol i thought that

  • How about using a power strip? You just turn the switch off and you disconnect the electronics from the source.

  • If power is used when the item is off then we have a flaw in the general design of wallsockets.

  • Certain things, like the time on DVR boxes, etc. still use power, when the box is off to maintain the correct time, etc.

  • Anything with lights that stay on unless unplugged.

  • WIL E YA LATER!!

  • I have a wall box thing that does the exact same thing as that!

  • 14th OMFG

    nice video anyway

  • Don't use a power strip with it.

  • 13th

  • omg 12

  • 11th

  • Wanna go green? Check out my solar generator instioctional video.

  • save

  • how about we use free energy by Nikola Tesla so we don't have to pay for bills or.... cold fusion

  • Sorry for only saying "First" lol...

    Awesome video :DD

  • fail

  • Not really.
