@DKRommel1942 Mikhail Efimovich Katukov (September 17, 1900 - June 8, 1976). This is not propaganda they mixed the names and birth-dead dates of Katukov and Lavrinenko. Lavrinenko was born 1914 and died in 1941 you can find it in every Russian source on internet. Beside of this it is not so important when he died but what he did.

Plus they thought that there was somekind Jewish-Bolshevism, wich is not true since Soviets were atheists and did not like Jews either. You simply try to find some incorrect fact that is meaningless, but history is fact and fact is Nazis lost at gates of Moscow. These documentaries do not even badmouth German forces, you are biased.

@DKRommel1942 No im not a communist fanatic im just more intrested in Eastern front than boring Western front wich everyone knows, i support socialist democracy. I hate Communism as much as Capitalism.. But anyway, i do not understand your message fully. This is very accurate documentary about the Soviet side of Eastern front, they dont have as much material for Germans. There are 8 series in total and this docu tries to show most intresting, crucial battles and operations. Watch first part lol!

A group of paratroopers stood up to several division of Panzers and only 29 survived.. such heroic and bravery those soldiers are. You dont ever see these kind of actions ever mentioned in world history.. all your hear is how great America is and their D-day. If it wasnt for the Russian we would all be Hitler's slave by now.

My love and respect goes out to those bravery soldiers of the Eastern Front, you have fought a battle that defines the outcome of the future. Cпасибо товарищи
