I remember this when I was a kid! Why don't they bring it back? Oh yeah, because George Carlin just passed away. We shall miss him. My parents remember him for the Seven Words. I remember him for Shining Time Station, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob strike back. I miss him and Kevin Smith probably does too.
I miss Mr. Conductor. He should return to TV. Do you know who he reminds me of... Timothy Mouse from the 1941 Dumbo movie. Do you want to know why because Mr. Conductor is small. I've been making my own Dumbo Stories and they feature Mr. Conductor. Please reply to me.
This is the first appearance of Matt and Tanya's cousins, Dan and Kara, Billy Twofeathers, and Mr. Conductor's cousin, George Carlin. His cousin Ringo Starr does appear in the Christmas Special from Matt's flash back, "'Tis A Gift". Dan and Kara fmeets Mr. Conductor for the first time when he's afraid of them.
This is the second season premiere; there was a two year hiatus--due to low funding--between this episode and "Is this the End?" (Season One Finale), which is obvious by how big the kids have gotten (the Christmas Special "'Tis A Gift" was made during the interim). Speaking of the kids (Matt and Tanya), this is the final regular episode for both of them, with the exception of "Field Day" later in the season.
oh wow, that musical instrument. the engineer puts in the drawer, that surfaced from some deep part of my little kids memory.
