They occur when refracted light strikes the optics at certain angles. These uninvited artifacts are troublesome but purely terrestrial in their origin.

There is all kinds of activity going on we experienced a happening on the highway. No way was it a meteorite. Glowed red with white and green trailing. went right over our heads but you could see it was still way up there. huge. over 30 emergency vehicles went past us in response and when you call to ask what it was they say they have no clue what you are talking about. If not, he was right - to NASA none of the so called Unidentified Flying Objects in the STEREO/SOHO images are Unidentified (since they know what planets, stars, comets and asteroids are in the POV). A few of them aren't even Flying, like the reflections and gamma ray hits on the sensor.

It's a reflection of the camera's own optics. Earth and Venus produce light artifacts inside the camera.
Notice in this video that the object moves in sync with venus, and appears the same time Venus does (the ??? at the beginning is actually Venus).
That's not an accident.
Also, if you go through the history of this feed from the STERO satellites you will find several examples of triangles and circles that move around in sync with the planets. This isn't the first time.
@ignas777 There are other reflections. There are many in previous pictures taken by these satellites, and there may even be another, fainter one somewhere in this video. They are not always easy to see.

An open request to any Alien life forms that have their own UFO:
Leave evidence.
For example, why not leave a very large whale on the white house lawn?
That would go a very long way in proving that there is indeed someone out there.
Or a nice temporary drawing on the moon is another possibility.

5 weeks ago i saw something near the woods. I was driving through the high-way *around night*
and i saw something floating around the woods. Looked like it was hovering on top of the trees. Where i live there's like a bunch of tall trees. I really, really, really ,really i'm serious ..i wanted to stop and see at least. *i was thinking of even walking towards it* but i just kept going. Not sure what i was .. but it sure scared the crap out of me. Told my family and all, they don't believe...

There is all kinds of activity going on we experienced a happening on the highway. No way was it a meteorite. Glowed red with white and green trailing. went right over our heads but you could see it was still way up there. huge. over 30 emergency vehicles went past us in response and when you call to ask what it was they say they have no clue what you are talking about. I said really 30 emergncy vehicles respond and you dont know what it is . They said report of aircraft down then she hung up

If not, he was right - to NASA none of the so called Unidentified Flying Objects in the STEREO/SOHO images are Unidentified (since they know what planets, stars, comets and asteroids are in the POV). A few of them aren't even Flying, like the reflections and gamma ray hits on the sensor.
So if that was what he meant he has my humble apologies :)

It's a reflection of the camera's own optics. Earth and Venus produce light artifacts inside the camera.
Notice in this video that the object moves in sync with venus, and appears the same time Venus does (the ??? at the beginning is actually Venus).
That's not an accident.
Also, if you go through the history of this feed from the STERO satellites you will find several examples of triangles and circles that move around in sync with the planets. This isn't the first time.

Its a optic problem. Look more closely, it tends to get smaller as it travels. A solid object would not do that.

Since the artifact looked exactly the same last time Venus was in this exact position (but STEREO was looking at a different part of the background sky) even someone seriously scientifically challenged should be able to realise that it's something in the camera.

If NASA says it`s dirty on les or a telescope artifact, then these appliance has no credibility or scientific efficience.
So, NASA has to assume and justify the lack of precision to deny there`s something or somethings real, even though it`s not the first time it happens, non identified captured by its million dollars investment!
Therefore, we`d like a detailed technical explanation to vanish all doubts about these weird things on lens or in space.

Its OBVIOUSLY animation! Someone draw a pyramid with a pencil and got it to move. If it was a real OBJECT there's no way it would be transparent (SEE THROUGH) lmao.. Some people have nowt better to do. How sad :(
