Until now, I find it hard to believe the Mosque can withstand the tsunami when everything else around it have perished. I remember seeing a photo of a mosque still standing after an earthquake in Turkey. All the buildings around it had crumbled but the mosque still stands.

guys i read comments about ppl telling...its bcoz of the strength of the building that it got through the tsunami.....and its a building to all non-muslims(NO OFFENCE)......but its the known as a MASJID or MUSSALLAH meaning...."mosques" in english or in simpler terms "the house of god" for muslims.......my brothers n sisters dont care about ppl not believing this miracle.....i am rather astonished by the fact the mosque stood even after the tsunami....."ALLAHU AKBAR"

I am a palestinian and I know the Dome of the Rock is not al- Aqsa, But I would like to correct on a few things Al Aqsa mosque has been standing for thousands of years and the Isralies are not damaging it directly if you do your research they were digging under neath it and now they have stopped because someone there WOKE UP and said oops what we are looking for was starring us in the face the temple of Soliman is the Al-aqsa mosque and the story of Samson was a bed time story
