  • 2nd picture, she looks like the Lady Galadriel.

  • Rediculously beautiful voices

  • Epic just epic.

  • @xevious2501 - I think all of us agree with that. Too bad the other 92,000 people or so didn't thumbs up that. xD Origa, Yoko Kanno, Enya, and Maya Sakamoto (perhaps, she has a nice voice as well) teamed up. God, would that would be a hit.

  • beautiful voice

  • look up enya at wikipedia...

  • lol Enya is alive and doing well.

  • Yes, something with Enya would seriously rock!

  • @Namida67

    Gotta love misinformation.

  • She also came up with an artificial gibbersih language for some passages she sings.

    Good song.

  • i have one question is she singing russian or not?

  • @mondscheinserenity1

    yup, that's Russian

but it is fairly difficult to make out the words

  • @MrDanilsk I am Russian and hardly understand her)

  • the combination of Yoko Kanno and Origa is perfect

  • anyone else thinking those heartdales-wannabe-rappers are just a pain in the ass? The song would be even more great without that rap part o_O

  • Player

  • gits is a great anime with great music

  • no doubt

    G.I.T.S ftw

  • im so glad to see the incredible success of Origa Snyder and Yoko kanno the combination of Origa's russian tenior and Yoko's blissfully talented compositions is simply a powerhouse.

i wish they would do a song or two with Enya.

  • that would be so awesome!

  • @xevious2501 if only enya was alive :[

  • @HoppinFreshnizzles

    She still is...isn't she?

  • @SlaytanicBrad uhm sorry nope. she died yearrss ago in a plane crash

  • @HoppinFreshnizzles LMAO....... Enya is still alive what on earth...

  • @SlaytanicBrad I don't know what Hoppin's going on about, but yes, she is in fact, still alive. XD

  • @xevious2501 Yes, totally!

  • @xevious2501

If they throw in a fourth, you got the voices of Sirens, and we'll want an extended version of it. XD!!

  • This music gives me chills something tells me this from a angel who lives behind us all

  • Gosh, Such a beautiful voice *0*

  • True and false to meat warrior. But I have to disagree about the lyrics being meaningless for both songs. Getting into that soldier's psyche and at least attempting to understand you would realize how kind of heartbreaking the songs are-how it voices their thoughts and struggle with everything that comes with war.

  • ohh so origa is the singer and yoko kano is teh composer, ar ethey always together? as in do they liek make theese songs together always or only a few here an dthere?

  • The original russian and all the complex sounds is a pleasure in itself. The meaning is secondary.

"Lost in translation!" as they say.

  • Its the SOUNDS that are important, the translation isn't important.

  • @webcs yes, it's amazing when someone can transit everything through melody and voice nuances alone! you can relay sooooooooo much more than with words!

  • sorry, wath is the name of song? pleas

  • the name is "player"

  • i love this song origa rox <3

  • I beg to disagree about the translation from rusian to English, at least in the song Rise. Being a soldier, that song has true meaning for me...

  • Sorry i wanted to say that "rize" and "inner universe" is a different songs. And more i've wanted to say that if you'll read the english translation you'll lose that energy, it's just pov, but i've noticed that if you trying to translate russian songs in english it's starting to sound stupid and pointless...

  • It's like that with most languages. Sometimes it gets worse if there's wordplay involved. A lot worse.

  • @zrhfcfdbwf

I think all translations are like that. The words have a surface (literal) meaning that differs from language to language even if the deep meaning is the same. It kinda shows how diffent culture view the world differently. What sounds poetic in one language can sound...less poetic in English and that's just the way it is.

  • This has a lot of energy! Cool!

  • do you have a n english translation for the lyrics?

  • ghost in the shell RULES!!!!

  • what music cd does this come from??

  • so what part was composed by origa cause I swear she sang some songs for Ghost in the shell, Her voice sounds to familar.

  • yes, Origa is the singer, and she has sung many of the great GitS themes and songs. Yoko Kanno is the composer.

Now if only I could find the end song, from the Credits, to this SSS. Or even see it, I keep missing this one.

  • she sung the theme song for Stand Alone Complex series in collaboration with Yoko Kanno as well the song is called "inner Universe" the other, for the american release of the show was called "Rise"

  • COOL!!!

  • w0wS!~~

  • awesome

  • Sweet song!^_^

  • MOAR! Then awesome!
