I didn't bench many games on the X3000 IGP, but CoD4 was one of the few I did. It runs alright with lower settings at 800x600 or so. This was a while ago, drivers should have progressed quite well so it may very well be more playable by now.

If it's truely 400W then it should be fine for a card that doesn't require a power connector.

If you need a cheap, budget card that'll play some games get a 8600GT. It doesn't require a power connector and it should play most games at a resolution lesser than 1024x768.

If your on a budget something like a 9600GT would be great. It would require at least a 400W power supply; if you need a power supply check out the Corsair 450VX. If you've got a few bucks to spend check out the G92 8800GTS and the Corsair 550VX.

If you want to play almost any game on the market get a 9600GT or 8800GT. If you get either of those two though you'll need a new power supply. Probably a decent 450-550W, make sure it's a decent brand like Corsair, Antec, Aprevia, Seasonic, FSP Group, OCZ or PC Power & Cooling. If you need a cheaper, yet good power supply Thermaltake and Rosewill both make decent, reliable power supplys.

Yo tengo un AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+, una AMD/ATi Radeon HD4870 X2 y juego a 1080p en algunos juegos, porque en otros juego a 2560x1600, mucho mas que los ridículos 1080p que dan tus ridículas consolas, ya que la PC ES LA AMA Y REINA DE LOS JUEGOS, y las consolas son solo una copia barata y pirata y sobretodo, mal hecha de la PC, para disque "jugar".

Ademas, precisamente por lo que dices, entonces si agarro mi compu, la conecto a una TV de 80 pulgadas, pero si le pongo 640x480 en detalles bajos, por mas 80 pulgadas que sea, se va a ver pesimo, pero si yo agarro una de 14 y le pongo en 1080p a maximo detelle se va a ver maravillosamente fantastico, aun con sus 14 pulgadas, por eso te digo que esa afirmación que tu dices, es invalida.

Buy one. Seeing as I don't know your power supply I suggest atleast a 8500GT, better a 8600GT. Either should be fine with a smaller power supply, just make sure you have atleast a decent 350+ watt power supply.

First update your drivers. Proceed to the Intel website and the newest drivers should be availible on the home page. Once those have been installed try a game. Please note that games don't run that great on IGPs, don't expect the best video card for what cost a few dollars.

You really should look into a descrete solution.

No, the X3000 comes on the G965 chipset. The G945 doesn't have the hardware features to run Pro Street, correctly atleast.

Yup, only the G965 has hardware pixel shader 3.0 and hardware vertex shader.
