But these solidbodies are some of the ugliest guitars ever seen. I really cannot understand what did they have on their mind when they designed them. They won't ever compete with anyone with this dumb look.
@lorenzoens Yeah but do you play a guitar for it's looks or for it's sound? I can agree with you somewhat that they aren't "eye candy" but what really matters to you? For me, it is somewhat of a combination of the two but SOUND RULES. I like to say that when I open the case I want to go "WOW!" with my eyes, then when I play the guitar I want to go "WOW!" with my ears but definitely if it doesn't sound good then I won't buy it even if it looks great.
@lorenzoens the clasic solid body guitars aren't aesthetically pleasing; agreed. But the standard/custom the higher end guitars are beautiful! Your mad.
I don't question the time and dedication put into this guitar, but when I tried one at my local shop, it felt cheap, had no vibe and the sound just wasn't there.
Look it's a good sounding guitar and I might get one but this guy, like most salesmen is selling snake oil. On the Z.Z. Top part, when he switches to the bridge, he starts banging on the guitar. And then when he goes back he starts finger picking. The bridge might have more output to drive the tubes more but not that much. I do like it though, it is brighter than the paul without the flavor of a strat Definitelly sounds like something different! Another review really shows the wah effect better
Seems to have a broad range of sounds to me!Guitarists are kinda known for being wary of new thing!Luddites!Why cant some people accept that this is better than more established elctric brands!I know what `leccy i would when i get the cash!
