Come on now. Mickey here did fall but it was by accident and the boy in the #5 Jersey did NOT trip Mickey.

Even though I got eyes and can see, I still trip sometimes due to clumsiness at times.

As for the mascots here, it is not easy to see out of the costumes so there you have it. Those who give me thumbs down like they did to iuseapowermacg4 SERIOUSLY needs to see a Doctor.

If you have good eyes you'll notice this:

If you look at the kid in the jersey at the far right with the number 5, he seems to come over here for some reason. Then look at his leg, after Mickey falls, the kid pulls back his leg. My theory is that the kid tripped him on purpose. Poor Mickey shouldn't have to deal with that.

The kid with the #5 jersey did NOT trip Mickey. There is a chair in front of the kid. He is resting his left knee on that chair. When Mickey trips, the kid removes his knee from the chair as he reacts to Mickey falling.

Also, the kid was too busy spinning his napkin around to show any malicious intent. At the end, you see Mickey and the waitress looking for the problem. They clearly find the problem on the ground to the right of the kid. Watch again closely.

Our right, There are to many parents and staff there not to notice, also after Mickey and the waitress find the problem, it was moved out of the way. and the problems was...That chair the kid was leaning his knee on, Mickey tripped over that chair. I've worked in costumes before and something you have to realize is that you're going to fall down sooner or later. You've got a big head and enormous shoes with little balance and that equals face plants. I've seen a lot of people fall down in the costumes and it really isn't a big deal between us entertainers. It just happens. You get up and keep going. ALL of us laugh about it. Trust me. I know a lot of these guys. :) You're not accepted until you can say 'I wiped out the other day'. lol

@horseloversomuch950 thats happend to me only once, how ever that costume has been retired and replaced, I was doing a family skate at the wold hockey championships,I wiped out on the ice, fell backwards, head pops off, luckily for me the kid were very cool about it, didn't make a big deal about it and played along like nothing happened, as soon as the head popped off, I wasted no time and made straight for the head.

@dcnut1234 No you can Not give away who you played "inside the parks" when your outside you can tell just dont be too outgoing, maybe it was stupid of me to say that, oh well. and yes disneyworld/land is a very fun place to work at as a character, you always get a smile when a child comes up running to you yelling your name. it can also be tough at times you might have to stay out in the heat for a while or a bad part of it is you make little money but i love acting as a character!

@dcnut1234 and to the last part of your question, when you auditon for someone the people will think about how you play your character you can audition for someone and get a tottaly new character like for example, i auditioned for Donald Duck and got Dinnie! haha weird, hope this helps

@LadyDonut you wouldn't be fired just cause your head popped of, it depend on a number of factors, like what you did after the head came off, why the head came off, did you have the head properly secured, I'm sure they over look a simple accident. thats why they have spotters.

@RascalCoyote that's what I mean... if you were wearing it all properly and it came off by accident (which has happened on occassion), and you recover quickly, then that's likely to be overlooked. But if you weren't wearing it right to begin with, then regardless of the circumstances, you'd be fired because you would be held responsible. You get trained on how to wear it all properly so there's no reason why you shouldn't have it on right when you're out there.
