I *think* I understand the song. But... I'm not sure what happened at the end where she meets her future self. What happens? What results from youngGumi hearing that and going back? OldGumi said she knew she could probably change her situation by explaining everything, but decides not to? Even though she does say something that might?

My best guess is that she's ok with dying and her life has been full, and simply gives a reminder to move forward? I fell like it might be more than that...

@Sp3ctre18 - that is pretty much correct since Gumi's older self had gone through all of it before so she knew it was her time to die.

Her warning to her past self is take everything with a grain of salt since they are bound to happen anyway. Gumi trying to change her past through her knowledge of the future is foolish as it would affect her future negatively in ways that she would not expect. I guess that's how Father Time keeps the balance in the timeline itself.
