all it takes is a spark of light, a positive comment, although in a heavy state of anxiety you may think oh just another mumbo jumbo comment, but trust me, you CAN snap out of this, i thought i was screwed, life was gonna be no more than being in a corner curled up. But just how you drifted into anxiety you can drift out. the tight breathing will go, laughter will return. You will embrace the fun little things youve once forgotten about. Just realise all your symptoms are side effects of gad.
your not alone friend, i constantly suffer with anxiety and have been diagnosed with gad, it has ruind my life i cant control my mind, but recently just started meds and theropy so i will see how it go's people dont realise how bad it really is, i wouldnt wish this on anyone
You're not alone, I have them too and people tells me to try to control them but I can't, when the anxiety is at its pick I can only wait and pray it goes away as soon as possible. When it's over I am exausted and my stomach hurts.
iam so tired going thru i thought my first panic attack in 2005 was the worse but i had a veyr bad one last night i didnt go to sleep til after 5am, right when i climbed in bed it began
dude, I understand how you feel completely about not being in control of your mind, im in that state right now. i think meditation will help you specifically aloot. It is all about increasing your focus and ultimately mastering your mind. I took interest in it when i became aware something was wrong with my thinking, since it seemed a good solution to all my mental practice. i havent done it long enough to see results, but there are so many testimonies. you should deffinetely look into it.
Friend, you're far from alone. I've had GAD for years and can relate to everything you're talking about. I too struggled through college and grad school with this problem, and it interfered with every part of my life.
in high school all the teachers thought i was lazy because i wasnt doing my hw! they didnt understand i had extreme anxiety, i couldnt concentrate because of this...but finally i had my first panic attacks my senior year in high school...no one can understand unless they have it...its the worst feeling ever....you're absolutely MORTIFIED and you cant even pin point what is scaring you...now i just have high anxiety pretty much all the time...=( i want to die
wow same exact symtoms as mine i thought i was goin crazy, but remember u will get better eventually and i hope u do with all my heart cuz i kno exactly how u feel mann it literally is horrid. feep fighting but learn and find sumthing that relaxes u. i believe walking is a great stress reliever. so remember walk away and talk it out n well.. yea take ur meds
do you think that having a scheduled task, triggers it? for intense do you lose sleep if you have appointments or cannot drive if someone is with you in the car?
I think that when youre suffering from anxiety its very important to read a lot about it and to educate your self about it to understand that it cant really hurt you. I get panic attacks and its horrible... but im learning more about it and they are really starting to fade! You posted this vid almost one year ago and im hoping youre better now!!
Anxiety Disorder is horrible. You're not alone. I find it so hard to stay focused. I'm always forgetting things and having half done chores everywhere. It sucks. I have videos too if you want to watch.
I completely understand. I am EXACTLY the same way. I get so overwhelmed by anxiety over school that I put off work because I can't concentrate on it.. then I am more stressed out over the work, and then add that to it that I become anxious about going to the class. its horrible. I'm that way over every little thing but school and work is where I notice it having the most detrimental effects.. that and the insomnia.. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone. good luck!
I also have anxiety. Ive had it for years and it effected me severely. This isnt for everyone but i went over to a friends house and he new i had it. He recommended marijuana. It seriously made all my anxieties dissapear. I can go out in public and no anxiety! im not saying go out and buy a dimebag right now but think about it and maybe give it a try
weed triggered my anxiety. i've had anxiety since i was a little girl. before eighth grade i started smoking it and my anxiety grew more and more frequent and more uuncontrollable. i hate weed for that. i find that strangge that it helpd you, but lucky you. have you tried getting it prescribed to you for your anxiety? it might be hard for you to prove it....but just wondering.
do you sometimes get a tight crushing feeling in your chest, and feel short of breath and get various pains and feel light headed? i thought i had a heart problem and saw 2 doctors and had 2 ECG's they said my heart and blood pressure were perfect, and it was just anxiety, it's hard to beleive all this is just anxiety, i get it when im fairly relaxed too.
Yes, I do! I couldn't have described it better myself! Besides the chest pains, not only I feel light headed, I feel like I'm actually going to pass out. And yes, my heart is also healthy. The mind can have a remarkably realistic effect on the body... And I feel anxiety when I'm relaxed too. I once had panic attack while I was sleeping!
I understand your pain. I have experienced anxiety and have had night time panic attacks. No doctor could tell me what was wrong. I recently went to a Natual Path Dr. and had test run. Adrenal function and hypoglocemia can cause nighttime panic episodes. Go see a good Natural Path Dr. B vitamins are also very important. Nutrition is the answer.Good luck
Hi, alicaj! I'm sorry it took me a while to answer your comment. Actually, I want to post a video talking precisely about that. I'll upload it tomorrow or Saturday.
Thanks sharing your concerns. I'm more than glad to tell you about my experience. I have a long history of panic attacks, and these are certainly not the only symptoms I've experienced with anxiety. One single reply comment won't fully answer your question. Stay tuned, and wait for my next video, within a couple days!
