hey man if im in neutral and drop it into first while holding the clutch lever should it still freewheel i got this old yz100 and if im driving and press the clutch it works but if im stoped and engine is off the clutch dont work also i cant start it in first while pressing the clutch is that normal
what kind of oil do you soak them in? the transmission oil?
also a dumb question: at the very end you said "put fresh oil in." you meant fresh transmission oil right? sorry im kinda new to this :P how many plates total are there supposed to be? is it different from bike to bike (i have a 2002 kawasaki kx125)?
@jumpMATTjump Hey! Have you replaced your clutch jet? By meaning change oil, put fresh in means you have to change your oil for your engine. I also recomend to change your oilfilter to. This is different from bike to bike depending on if you have wet or dry clutch.
@19franek87 well i have a 2 stroke so my bike doesnt need engine oil changes. i only change the tranny oil. and no i ahvent done anything to my clutch yet. i campared my clutch to my brothers bike and its still doing great. i might gonna have to sand down the edges i guess cuz they might be a little worn. i dont even have to hold it all the way in to change gears or start. actually i just tap it kinda and it lets go. the thing is that when im all the way in and in gear the bike wants to move lol

@19franek87 wlasnie tak myslalem. moj brat mial cr125 i jemu zaczelo sprzeglo lapac tak gdzies w polowie, mi pod koniec i na dodatek bardzo ciezko chodzi a mam ustawiony luz jak trzeba. najpierw chyba planuje rozkrecic i wyrownac rogi papierem sciernym, podobno tak mozna i dziala to. jak nie to nowe sprzeglo :)

Jak masz zjarane tarcze sprzęgła to też silnik traci moment obrotowy i co z tym idzie, moc. Jeżeli jezdzisz reakracyjnie to spróbuj najpierw papierem ściernym, jak wymagasz od silnika pełną moc to wymień tarcze, i radze Tobie wymienić też spręzynki...
